I do enjoy this! Witchy magical animal-based cookies together. I like it a lot.

You mentioned Crowberry stealing jewelry for Truffle, so I'd like to expand on that and give a headcanon! Since it's implied that Truffle barely leaves her house, Truffle probably would not have much exposure to the beautiful things outside her house. It's mentioned in her character story description that "Truffle Cookie's dough contains more truffle than flour, which explains why she prefers the dark, damp enclosure." I personally headcanon this to be basically albinism and her aversion of sunlight, but you don't have to take that.

Crowberry really wanted Truffle to see more stuff from the outside, so Crowberry brings her favorite jewels for Truffle. Usually, Crowberry is really picky about who gets to see their jewels because they love their shiny things so much, but she doesn't mind Truffle at all. Since Crowberry is really proud of her jewels, she looks forward towards each of their meeting to see Truffle's reaction to the shiny stuff.

At first, Truffle was impressed, but upon learning that they're stolen, Truffle expresses some disapproval. I'd like to think that even though Truffle loves creeping out visitors with spiders and darkness, she has a very solid moral compass. This saddens Crowberry, and she decides to stop showing up for a while.

Both of them begins to miss each other, and eventually they meet again at Truffle's window. Crowberry appears as a large bird with a letter in her beak, explaining her rationale for stealing (being her love for shinies and her wish to expose Truffle to more interesting things). Truffle is touched, and also apologize. They can continue being friends (and eventually much more), but on Truffle's condition that all the gifts that Crowberry give must be collected by Crowberry herself (and not from someone else). "I can't force you to not steal, but I'd rather receive honest gifts--especially the ones collected by you."

Crowberry agrees due to missing Truffle a lot. Ever since that day, Crowberry flew far and wide to find treasures that only belonged to her and Truffle together: an antique coin left somewhere in the wild; a glimmering piece of forgotten jewelry; a forgotten doll near a campfire. They may not be worth as much as Crowberry's other treasure, but they all hold special significance to the two of them because yes, these were theirs and no one else's.

This sounds like some kind of fanfiction material. I got excited thinking about writing it lol, but honestly I'm quite busy recently. As with everything else on this blog, feel free to take the idea and write it or let someone else write it. It'll be nice to let me know if you do.
