genuinely if u don’t think an improv show needs to have an engaging narrative/character arc like fine but im sad abt it because they HAVE done amazingly compelling narratives with even less set up. like aelwyn’s arc in fhsy brought me to tears no less than three separate times

the d20 cast/crew are incredible storytellers who can and have been handling weighty themes and arcs alongside the goofs!!! i think it’s insulting to say that we shouldn't expect that, or that they can’t pull that off, when we're all here because we think liveplays are legitimate form of art!! i'm engaging with d20 as art because i love it!!! i just also think that they fumbled it this time lol
