I agree I love the big 4 for dune and love alot of their films but I still would of liked for them to incorporate the other cast members a little bit like javier, souheila lea seydoux , rebecca ferguson ( though she was all over london press) , cristopher walken etc they've either been non existent or sidelined completely obviously its impossible to have all schedules lined up and these older actors have children and families and real world respinsibilities but still feels they left out so big names especially javier.

Yea, I do wish that we had seen more of the older cast members doing press for this movie... But I get the feeling that older cast members just don't really do a lot of press for films as much anymore. They let the "young ones" do all that crazy flying here and there for press lol. I don't even recall Javier doing much press for TLM either. It was mainly Halle and Jonah doing press for that as well. I remember Rebecca and Oscar doing some press for Dune when the first one came out. We also don't know how significant of a role some of the others mentioned will have in the film tbh. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sometimes I'm still somewhat in awe that anyone was ever able to adapt the Legend of Sleepy Hollow into a campy action-horror movie, but unlike many of its kind, it still holds up remarkably well (despite, ya know, that some of the cast and crew have not).

When you cast Cristopher Walken in your movie, it doesn't matter what role you give him, everyone will call that character Cristopher Walken. Chris Evans? The character's captain america. Daniel Radcliffe? Harry Potter. Johnny Depp? You get the picture. I don't have to tell you how much that can fuck up the immersion of a film, and the preconceptions about the characters. Unknowns let you start fresh.

i think casting unknown people is the best possible decision casting directors can make at this point like stop using the same five people in every film
