I fondly remember a wasted youth cozying up to glass-topped boxes of flashing lights, strange sounds and steel balls flying around an angled assault course. But, apart from helpful nudges from mates, being a pinball wizard was very much a solo adventure. Portugal’s Cristiana Felgueiras has changed that with a two-player pinball project as part of an Inventables monthly challenge.

Ginastas do Acrogym medalhados na Copa Galicia

  O Acrogym Clube de Coimbra iniciou a época em duas competições internacionais de Ginástica Acrobática. A primeira no Reino Unido, Bristol e a segunda competição decorreu no último fim de semana, em Marín, Espanha. No fim-de-semana passado, a dupla Leonor Mendes e Mariana Alegre (escalão juvenil), ganhou novamente a medalha de ouro, desta vez, na X Copa Galicia Internacional. O par feminino no escalão de juniores, Cristiana Amorim/Margarida Rangel e o par misto iniciado, João Xavier/Leonor Felgueiras, obtiveram um excelente resultado, alcançando o segundo lugar do pódio e arrecadando a medalha de prata. Na restante comitiva, as ginastas do escalão Iniciados, Laura Jesus e Leonor Urbano (par feminino), Francisca Ferreira e Sofia Santos (par feminino), Marta Brás, Lara Antunes e Sofia Costa (grupo feminino) conseguiram também o apuramento para as finais da competição.

How to Build a Workbench

Frequently, when I find something that is inspiring, it’s actually such a stretch of the imagination to see myself being able to accomplish similar feats or inhabit similar worlds of excellence, that I simply find myself enjoying a passive feeling of awe, appreciation, and “gosh, gee, wow.” 

I like everything about Cristiana, from where she’s based (Porto, Portugal) to her accent, to her scruffy mohawk to her awesome accent. Her professionalism needs no pointing out, but as a DSLR filmmaker I do wish to note the clarity, elegance, charm and great beauty in the way she makes these videos themselves. She is a rockstar!
