In the scrapped Bendy fan comic I wrote some script for in 2019-ish, a doubly scrapped bit was gonna be that any cartoons in the studio were all inherently boned bc they are bound to cartoon rules -- you have to be funny. This means tripping when it's funny, telling a joke or quip to an invisible audience if it's funny & etc. In a horror scenario this is very, very bad for the cartoon, & that's why there are so many more Searchers than Toons.

Another bit was that the whole studia is all made of ink & paper, drawn out by an artist, fed into & interpreted by the Ink Machine. This means the ink knows everyone. It knows their secrets & their past. The ink can also see the forth wall. It would occasionally scrawl things onto the walls for the audience to see, implying through stains a history that isn't said out loud.

The last bit was a character that couldn't talk would write on the walls to communicate. As they were a Toon, they ofc would write entire speech bubbles. I sadly dropped this at the end of Ch. 2.
