Goblets clank together, haphazardly held between the gloved fingers of a single hand as the other supported slightly more than a healthy amount of wine. Perhaps, it had been intended to share with several men - but it would be used to toast just one other. Ma Dai swept through guards, dismissing their attempts to announce his presence - ignoring their pleas for propriety and upholding standards. It seemed, from what he could see, that what the Prime Minister suggested had been correct, not that his word was to be doubted. It appeared that despite the alliances alleged between their homelands, that little remained in the way of strong foundation between them. Empty promises, ill-reigned tempers, fabricated kindness to veil insults as a result of many of the wrong-doings of both factions. Should another see through the facade- .. well, at this point, at least, Shu would be decimated. Wu- ... would certainly fall not long after. Hours were poured into suggestions, months into attempts to truly mend their bonds - all resulting in his exhaustion with the matter and a proposition of his own. Years of fighting between forefathers would not be overlooked without taking the first step to friendship - and not seeking anything of it. With leave from Zhuge Liang, he made the request to his Lord, and on his way he went.

"My Lord!" He called in a carefree manner as he wandered the length of the hall. "Lord Sun Quan!" He now shouted, a joyful smile plastered upon his lips as he raised the items he held. "Ma Dai, subordinate of Zhuge Liang is here! .. I bring a gift for you!" Though, he seemed to think better of this proclamation. "Ah... But if Lord Zhang Fei is to ask anything about it.. I wasn't involved. Alright?" He saluted, awkwardly managing the goblets he held. "We don't need formalities.. come! Have a drink with me."

There was always a time and place for everything, whether it was three days or five years. Taking a seat next to his lord upon a bench that overlooked Chao Lake, Zhou Tai folded his hands as he stared outward. Not really knowing how Sun Quan would respond, he was ready to deal with any consequence that would befall him. “My lord..I’ve been going to Wei not only for reconnaissance..but to see a woman…high up within their ranks…” taking a minute to pause, he continued on with this secret that had been held in for so long. 

“I assure you that my loyalty forever remains with you and to Wu..but we have each other’s hearts tied together and once this war is over…we might settle in peacefully somewhere if all stays well…If you do not wish for me to continue this charade…just give the order..but I finally mustered up the courage to tell you…so you would not have to worry anymore..”

“As much as I love leading a charge and our family, I’m starting to think that hanging back and getting a little more rest while you lead is just as good, Quan!”

Sun Ce stretched, and then he leaned back until he felt the ornate pattern of the headboard of his bed. The time he spent resting and recuperating from his enemies’ attempt to take his own life had put things into perspective for Sun Ce. As far as he knew, he laid the foundations for his brother Sun Quan, and left him the room to grow those foundations. It had taken nearly six years to bring a sizable piece of the southlands under his control, and there was no better person to make that land flourish than Sun Ce’s own younger brother.

Sun Ce hadn’t had any intentions whatsoever to take leadership back--at least, not when it came to governing. Battles were Sun Ce’s expertise, and where he thrived the most. It was what he wanted to get back to doing soon, but Sun Ce wouldn’t return at one hundred percent until he spoke with his brother.

“So...” Sun Ce began as he picked up the lone doll that had been left on his nightstand and inspected it. It hadn’t been just any doll, it was his youngest daughter’s doll. Sooner or later, she would come searching for it and like always Sun Ce would hide it. It was fun for the time being, but even Sun Ce had begun to get the itch for fighting once again, and an alliance usually meant a battle was coming up.

                   “ can you believe nia’s never seen snow??? ” the words that were said with a smile weren’t teasing or malicious, more so said in a gleeful awe. said young woman was currently pressed to the window, peeking out at the light snowfall that was currently powdering the university grounds. “ apparently it doesn’t even get this cold around where she’s from. where did she say that was...california, maybe? ” her question faded off as she turned away from sun quan to apollonia. “ where are you from again, nia? ” kyoko asked.

                   eyes glued to what was apparently called ‘snowflakes’ falling from the sky, apollonia nearly didn’t hear the other woman speaking to her before a small silence filled the air. then, she promptly turned around and tried to remember what in fact she had told them. “ uh, las vegas. ” she remembered after racking her brain for another moment. yeah, that climate was similar to that of murk’s capital. even to other planets in the galaxy, apollonia wasn’t well traveled. however, talk about where she was from always made her uneasy. “ i mean, i’ve seen it..on tv. but...anywho! weren’t we gonna do something fun today?? enough about me. ”

He is not certain why he was so concerned about the internal affairs of the enemy state, when surely sowing discord would benefit Wei. Though as the man in enemy territory, perhaps he should be worried for his own safety as well.      “I understand there are concerns in Wu about the amount of time you are spending with me.” He grimaces at his own choice of words, finally looking up at Sun Quan. “There are some who fear I may be influencing you.”

♕ – White Queen — What makes you feel powerful?

Never had the thought of power ever really cross his mind. There was nothing to learn or gain from such a meaningful word in his own retrospective. Sure, others could say Zhou Tai was powerful physically or perhaps mentally.  But that meant nothing if you did not have heart to back it up.

“If I truly were to give you an honest answer my lord..it would be my will…desire to surpass my own limits to succeed in life…ensuring the safety of those I care for…making Wu the right fit to lead this chaotic land…my will drives my power…”

Right before several dozens of her disappeared captain’s crew appeared, they already have taken Hachioji Castle as their base of operations and shelter. 

There could be pigments of their skydom here as he said, just unexplored.

“If someone could make a world like this. in my suspicion as a sky dweller, this Orochi person’s a primal beast of evil.”

3.  Religious beliefs?

she   doesn’t   really   practice   any   specific   religion   as   such   ,   &&   believes   that   taking   action   is   the   key   to   bringing   about   change   ,   not   praying   to   any   god   or   partaking   in   religious   rituals.   despite   this   ,   she   respects   the   beliefs   of   others   &&   won’t   discriminate   against   them   for   it   ,   tending   to   ignore   them   unless   they   specifically   pose   a   threat   to   either   wu   or   her   lord.   in   regards   to   philosophical   views   ,   the   idea   of   yin   &&   yang   simply   fascinates   her   ,   &&   there   is   indeed   a   specific   reason   why   her   blade   wielded   in   battle   possesses   the   characters   for   it   upon   the   exterior   —   the   dualities   of   both   yin   &&   yang   describe   how   contrary   forces   are   seemingly   interconnected   ,   &&   so   she   believes   that   whilst   war   exists   in   the   world   ,   so   must   peace.

17.   Describe some of their hobbies!

xinyi   doesn’t   particularly   enjoy   being   confined   indoors   all   day   ,   &&  some   of   her   most   favoured   activities   off   of   the   battlefield   include   strenuous   physical   activity.   she’ll   often   be   found   sparring   with   another   wu   officer   for   practice   ,   or   if   no   -   one   is   available   ,   then   she’ll   go   horse   riding   outside   of   camp   to   her   favourite   spots   ,   whether   it’s   climbing   up   a   tree   &&   enjoying   the   view   ,   or   to   the   edge   of   a   nearby   cliff   where   she   can   be   alone   with   her   thoughts.   the   rare   instances   that   she   is   inside   for   a   prolonged   period   of   time   ,   she’ll   entertain   herself   with   a   game   of   go   ,   or   even   practicing   her   hand   at   calligraphy   if   she   feels   up   to   it.   xinyi   does   enjoy   socializing   with   others   at   formal   banquets   ,   but   does   sometimes   feel   awkward   due   to   her   inferiority   complex   ,   so   unless   she’s   consumed   a   few   cups   of   wine   ,   she   does   have   a   habit   of   tending   to   excuse   herself   prematurely   from   the   festivities.

10.   How does your OC react when they’re embarrassed?

it   honestly   depends   on   the   circumstances   ,   who   /   what   caused   her   to   be   embarrassed   in   the   first   place.   anyone   that   she’s   not   overly   acquainted   with   or   that   she   doesn’t   know   particularly   well   ,   she   has   a   tendency   to   immediately   become   defensive   ,   sometimes   lashing   out   &&   being   exceedingly   stubborn   as   a   way   of   supposedly   deflecting   the   embarrassment   away   from   herself.   someone   that   she’s   close   to   /   comfortable   with   on   the   other   hand   ,   she   tends   to   accept   it   a   lot   more   readily   ,   often   making   quips   or   sarcastic   jokes   towards   the   situation   in   question   ,   &&   she’ll   tend   to   brush   it   off   fairly   quickly   ,   rather   than   openly   making   a   scene   about   it.

7.   Something they’re proud of?

the  only   definitive   thing   that   she’s   truly   proud   of   herself   for   is   learning   how   to   defend   herself   &&   fight.   whilst   still   terrified   when   her   late   fiancee   tried   to   strangle   her   to   death   ,   if   she   hadn’t   of   requested   the   tutoring   sessions   from   her   sword   master   ,   then   it’s   highly   likely   that   she   wouldn’t   have   been   able   to   muster   up   the   courage   to   dare   protect   herself.   after   everything   that   occurred   within   her   previous   life   ,   it   was   those   events   that   led   her   to   join   wu   &&   to   fight   for   sun   quan’s   people   ,   to   give   them   a   chance   to   live   in   peace   &&   to   avoid   the   distress   that   she   once   experienced.
