Tolima Volcano from a 4000m view point. It has a crater of 180m diameter approx. The glacier serves to feed the Totare, San Romulando, Toche and Combeima basins they all end up joining the main axis of Colombia, the Magdalena River. Approx 35.000 of years a go this volcano was just a part of a big complex that constituted one big ice mass within The #ruizvolcano and #santaisabel volcano, the ice started at 3000m! #tolimavolcano, #crestedoutdoors. Santa Isabel and the mosquito lagoon. The Hike went smooth until the storm broke along the way. Pretty amazing how we are use to the tropical conditions, we are tropical beast, we are brute over the mud, while other hikers just hate it, what do you expect within #adventure??? Dos semanas por fuera de casa, con el cuerpo hecho 💩 regreso a mi país con la satisfacción de haber pasado el curso 🗻 de Glaciar en #Ecuador con la #Aseguim y haber sentado las bases del conocimiento para ser guia, mi profesión. Días duros en el cerro, esta mujer que saca lo peor y lo mejor de uno, donde cada quien tiene que hacer el esfuerzo y aguantar, pararse firme y continuar; Algunos de mierda donde no había más que respetar y aceptar errores de cada quien con la enfermedad al límite, contenida, como dragón a punto de eructar; el bienestar viene de la mano de compañeros viscerales que salen con esputo y espesor, conteniendo a la bestia presa de satisfacción. Al final, Consejo de Jedis dejan al lado el gruñon para dar consejos de hermandad y aprendizaje. Días valiosos que llevo a casa para compartir, y seguir con el camino que dejaron abierto los panas, a machete, nada fácil para dejar un legado de comunidad más que Ecuatoriana, o Chilena o Colombiana - Sur Americana. 🌄👊 #Aseguim #UIAGM #crestedoutdoors #Ecuador #Antisana #Cotopaxi

Climbing #Tolima, after a bright night, through the #Paramo lit by the moon and froze by the wind, we hike from 01:00 early cold morning. The sun hit the mountains as the #Aymara or probably the #Quindos too were called this mountains as the first places on earth touched by fire through the sun; given this energy we were able to finally climb the #centralandes #Volcano and return safe. #crestedoutdoors, #volcanosummits (en Tolima, Colombia)
