Been listening to this^ on loop while I work on Shattered Souls (my Creepypasta fanime) and I can't help but think how weirdly well it fits Canon!Poppy.

I mean think about it. Think about what he goes through when it comes to his family-blood and chosen. He's got 3 children under 13 he's responsible for (Percy, Janice, and Nathan) who give him a stress-induced coronary at least once a week (yes, even Percy. Probably especially Percy given the kid's tendency to threaten/attack anyone that frightens him if he doesn't cry and run away). And then he reunites with his (presumably) little brother, who loses his mind, joins the goddamn Skin-Taker, and gets murdered, and then it's heavily implied in late s2 that Percy loses the plot completely due to trauma and just slaughters the entire Laughingstock Crew save Janice, meaning that the last thing he ever sees is the boy he saw as a son about to kill him, with the horrible knowledge that that boy hates him and it may well be his own fault.

Anyway I might have an idea for my viewers' Christmas present after I finish Episode 1.
