ENGAGEMENT RING + WEDDING BAND:      while becoming a vampire was not in her plans,     marrying stefan salvatore was.     even though betty is aware that marriage isn’t necessary when one lives forever,     part of her clings to the mundane desire to wear a white dress and walk down the aisle toward the man she loves.     her sister’s dead and she wants her mother to be able to see one of her kids get married.     that’s what prompts her to have the marriage conversation with stefan,     even though she blushes and giggles the entire time.     she’s only half surprised when he proposes less than six months later.     what surprises her,     though,     is the ring he picks out :     a gorgeous ring with an oval - shaped lazuli stone — he’d asked her mother to cast the daylight spell this time — in the center and tiny moissanite stones surrounding it.     when they get married,     she adds a marquise cut moissanite band that matches her ring perfectly.
