Remaking the family tree... again
Currently I’m using family echo for all the different family trees and plan on putting them in one big picture for each Guild. So far I have the Fireline, Tigerline + other lines
MAIN: STAR FIREHEART
Tumblr media
(Sandstorm, Star Fireheart and Dustpelt are a polycule)  (Star Brambleflower and Squirrelflight are exes) (Squirrelflight and Ashfur are “exes”. Actually that’s really stretching the truth they were something for like a week. Not sure what but certainly something) MAIN: BRIGHTHEART
Tumblr media
(Will add SorrelBracken kits later)
MAIN: STAR TIGERCLAW
Tumblr media
MAIN: SANDSTORM
Tumblr media
MAIN: DUSTPELT
Tumblr media
MAIN: ASHFUR
Tumblr media
MAIN: MOONFLOWER
Tumblr media
MAIN: THISTLECLAW
Tumblr media
Hopefully this shows all the cats. Btw this is a w.i.p, don’t take this as permanent

"son, i could move the sky for you"
~
so...midnight and sol in the rewrite... (more info below the cut!)
in the scorched ruins of a long abandoned ravine awaits an elderly badger. for seasons, midnight retraced the ancient claw-marks of those before this time; fading echoes of now forgotten spirits. every night she patrols the worn stone, accompanied only by the distant pelt of stars above her.
the low humming of wind bouncing off the gorge walls was scarcely broken--be it by a passing critter or occasional loner--but tonight, something was different.
she follows the shrill wailing--lumbering after it with more energy than she had showcased in moons--down the ragged cliff edge, and into the hollowed out stone. there lay a scrawny cat--a kitten. midnight's ears itch at it's mewling, and her throat tightens.
she reaches out a clawed paw, and pulls the shivering scrap towards herself. the kit whimpers still, but unscrews it's eyes. brilliant sunburnt irises burn into her own; and a warmth she had long been deprived melted the aches of age away--if only for a moment.
those pools of yellow observed her curiously. after a heartbeat, the child nuzzled deeper into her wiry coat.
how long had it been since held new life? how long had it been since was held by someone?
regardless of the answer, she couldnt let go now.
i love sad old people

tigerheartstar design for my rewrite au. i decided to give him the golden tabby fur he was originally meant to have before he became the quadrillionth tiger clone in the series. this is both because i'm sick of the whole "fighting tigerstar's legacy" thing that the erins are doing with these guys when really it should've been limited to just bramblestar and hawkfrost (it doesnt even WORK for tigerheartstar anymore because he's doing anything but fighting his grandfather's legacy. dude is becoming a literal clone of him). also because it never really made sense to me why tawnypelt would name her kid after her awful dad who she PERSONALLY witnessed commit all of these atrocities and had a whole thing about realizing that he's an awful person. i've seen some aus do a nice explanation for it, and while i've briefly considered it, my tawnypelt wouldn't want anything to do with her father, after spending several books coming to the terms with the fact that he's an awful person and not the same dad that she remembered as a kit. i think the mere idea of her having a kid that looks just like him would be reopening some awful deep seated wounds for her and i honestly think she deserves a break. Hence, she decides to name him after her beloved mother, Goldenflower, who raised both her and Bramblestar all on her own following Tigerstar's betrayal and was ready to beat the shit out of anyone who dared compare her kids to their shitbag father. Goldenheart as a name works so much better for him on so many levels because it implies a degree of honesty and kindness when similarly to his canon self, Golden is nothing of the sorts, (though he does keep up the appearance of being an honorable warrior/leader, which is what makes him such a good manipulator). Also in this rewrite, he isn't mates with Dovewing because their whole relationship is quite honestly such a massive ick to me that I cannot bring it in me to try and fix it. They're just really good friends who come to each other for support. Which is why Dovewing feels a lot more comfortable moving into ShadowClan when she has her kits, since he's been the only person who was really there for her since her time as an apprentice. Feel free to send an ask to my main, hadescabin , if you are curious for more details on my rewrite. it's still a massive wip but it has been rotating in my brain forever now as a result of my hatefixation on warriors. ANYWAYS that aside his design is loosely based around golden tigers since I still wanted to keep his whole tiger motif for the tigerstar i parallels in the recent arc.

could i see your brindleface design please? ❤️
- @salmonpaw
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know their design is a little out there a bit wild but! But! I will say it is bc she is now a GoosePine kit beside their brother Tigerclaw. Yes. They are siblings now. I’ll have to figure out how that plays into their kits lives, since now Ashfur and Brambleclaw would be cousins but I’ll figure that out later. The first version is how she looks right now with all their herbs, being dandelion leaves to calm down, borage leaves to promote growth and milk, and coltsfoot which wards of kittencough!
(ID- Brindleface is standing to the left with their head down, front paws together, and ears drooping. Her right green eyed is looking away and their expression is rather shy. They are a dull gray tabby with thick stripes down her legs, back, and face. White is on their belly, down her nose, paws, tail, mane, and on the back of her ears in a circle spot. Red tabby marking are on the left side of their face, back foot, front foot, down her back, and on their front paw. They have a short fluffy tail and are very bulky, muscles under their thick fur. She is expecting making their belly pink. Two dandelion leaves, four borage leaves, and three coltsfoot flowers are on their side. The background is splattering of a dull minty green color. End ID)
Personality wise she is very withdrawn. While Tigerclaw is outward with his emotions they keep them to herself. They don’t like to talk much either, preferring to be alone in silence. Out of the whole clique her closest friend would probably be Rosetail who looks after her a lot and makes sure she is alright, especially after they announced they were expecting with no sire in sight. Their quiet nature doesn’t make her docile though and she can be quite cold when it comes to those they feel don’t deserve their niceties. As a warrior she is a great patrol cat. Their physical frame and almost completely silent steps despite her size makes them a force to be reckoned with by others. Despite all of the compliments she receives they rarely believe any of them ever, only those from certain cats getting through to her.

Arc wise their relations with Tigerclaw is one I’m both really loving and saddened by. Being the sibling of him doesn’t change her fate much. Though I want them to have a bit more screen time, maybe push back her death a bit. Their sire, or mate as they used to be was a kittypet she’d met after she went to see their father Pine. Luna, a speckled silver cat she loved a lot but couldn’t be with as they never wanted to join the cliques and Brindle couldn’t bare to leave. When they finally break up she’s expecting Luna’s kits, evoking their Queen’s rights to keep their parentage a secret. Sadly they wouldn’t get to be with their kits as long as she wished they could.

foxleap x jayfeather hypokits?
Warrior Cats Ship Hypokits: JayFox Edition
I remembered nothing about Foxleap as a character going into this, but once again the Warriors Wiki saved me
In this AU, Medicine Cats are not only allowed to have kits but are encouraged to do so, as the position is passed hereditarily. Jaykit was the lucky kit of his litter to be chosen as his mama Leafpool's successor due to being the best at working with herbs. He got quite a bit of a swelled head but is eventually humbled when the Clan joker and prankster Foxpaw attaches himself at his hip. They bicker constantly, with Foxpaw teasing Jaypaw because he enjoys his reactions and Jaypaw lashing out in frustration at his antics. The two become emotionally attached as well and enjoy each other's company (even if Foxpaw is the only one who will admit it- and does so happily, much to Jaypaw's embarrassment). Foxchaser and his sister Icecloud earn their warrior names at around the same time Jayfeather gets his Medicine Cat name. Foxchaser of course ruins the sweet moment by joking that he would have named Jayfeather Jaybird (essentially "birdbird") instead and the two start fighting again. When they go to the mountains and meet The Lunar Feles, Foxchaser attempts to show off for everyone by catching an eagle by himself. He fails and is nearly carried off by the eagle but is saved when Swooping Hawk pushes him out of the way, at the cost of her own life. Foxchaser becomes despondent after Swooping Hawk's death, blaming himself and wishing that he had been taken instead. Jayfeather comforts him and shares in his grief, and when the patrol returns to ThunderClan the two come back closer than ever as mates.
They have four kits together with Icecloud as their surrogate:
Asphodelswoop- white molly with pale ginger patches and green eyes. Cis molly, aromantic lesbian. Named after Swooping Hawk. Asphodelswoop has always been a very quiet kit and rarely talks, even to her family. She is easily upset and can be very petty when she feels that she has been wronged by someone. She isn’t very well-liked by a few of her clanmates, but she doesn't care about their opinions- they don't try to understand her anyway. Asphodelswoop isn't all bad, though. To those who care for her and take a chance on her, she is incredibly loyal and would lay down her life for them at any point. She adores her family and is the biggest supporter of all of them, and they support her in turn. She is a Hunter.
Larchpool- dark ginger tabby tolly with blue eyes. AFAB Agender, pansexual. They use they/them pronouns. Named after Larchkit and Leafpool. Larchpool is an open, playful, and friendly cat who makes friends wherever they go. Despite this, they aren’t childish and are surprisingly mature. They weren't chosen as Jayfeather’s successor because they have no interest in being a Medicine Cat. Larchpool has extreme hyperempathy and is pacifistic to the point of refusing to battle at all. They do hunt but still feel bad for the animals they have to kill (they’d probably only eat plants if it was possible). They are a very good Mediator though, and are well-liked by many despite their various eccentricities. They are a Mediator.
Shiverfrost- very pale gray tom with green eyes. Trans tom, bisexual. Shiverfrost is a cat whose name draws attention to a very unfortunate problem: he is always cold (and shivers a lot). His fur is very thin and patchy for some unknown reason which makes him very vulnerable to the elements. He feels rather useless due to this trait and often debates leaving the Clan to become a kittypet but never does because he would miss his family too much. He eventually becomes a sort of Tunneler in ThunderClan because it shelters him from the elements. His fathers are very proud of him for figuring himself out. He doesn't really have a sense of humor and is a bit hostile to those who challenge his views, but is trying to change with the help of his siblings and family. He is a Hunter.
Bluebellsong- gray smoke molly with dark blue eyes. Cis molly, lesbian. Bluebellsong was Jayfeather’s choice for his successor, and she took it much more humbly than he did from his mother. She is a polite and level-headed cat who is very responsible and motivated. She has a good bedside manner and is the picture of a perfect Medicine Cat. She has a major problem, though: she tends to bury herself in her work and has basically no outside hobbies of her own. Due to her difficulty separating herself from her job she has no friends or cats besides her family that she is close to. Bluebellsong doesn't expect to ever take a mate of her own or have biological kits, so she’s declared her cousin Alderpaw as her apprentice and successor (after he asked if he could take that role- no forced MedCats here). She is a Medicine Cat (obviously).

How is moss a trailblazer
The top cadet of her generation which included Mousescratch, Timberface, Darkstripe, and Lightspirit.
High marks, Rosetail had nothing but praise for her cadet if not chiding them for his recklessness at times.
From gathering talks with Rootfur and Stumptail, Mossthorn had new ideas for traps and hunting techniques. They used them on a hawk and porcupine and which earned them their full name and new trophies to display on them.
Some cats definitely believe that Mottletail would chose Mossthorn as his lieutenant if the time came and it’s not like either denied the idea.
Some cats question why Jayfire didn’t just outright make Mossthorn her lieutenant when Thrushpelt retired but Mossthorn hadn’t had a completed training of a cadet yet and Jayfire was not about to be completely nepotistic.

oh i forgot to cross post this from pillowfort
bweird oc-tober 3: old oc
ok so this one asks who your oldest oc is which is a question i feel is kinda up for interpretation. if it's oldest that i still do anything with, easy, it's matsuo - est. 2009 baybee. (I LOOKED IT UP IT'S 2008 ACTUALLY WOW) if it's oldest just generally... then the first one i can actually remember giving a shit about is ezzelynn.
she was my first oc made with like real intent. i honestly can't think of an oc before her, though there must have been some. it was 2005/2006 and i was in 7th grade - i joined my first play by post on a warrior cats forum, in a subforum for other pbps. this one was a vampire one my bff in middle school was starting, with a guy our age from across the country. this would turn into a fiction project that took over the next 3-4 years of our lives, until eventually we reached the age where we could see how bad it was and wanted to rewrite it. which of course was impossible lol. so the whole thing fizzled out. me and the guy had a tooooonnn of other little pbp stories, and i still think about ocs from some of those. mat was from one i had with that bff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
lil art evolution timeline for you there. middle school to like sophomore yr hs
anyway ezzelynn is a half vampire with tan skin and purple eyes who is quirky and fun and cute and kind and my guy friend's oc nigel/casimir fell in love with her but she died tragically before they could be anything, even though she had JUST gotten over the trauma of her fiance getting eaten by a big fish (that was so fucking stupid lol i really couldn't come up with a better tragic death than that??) (i think we were both scared of writing actual romance, and also were not into each other and afraid it would seem like we were lol) she used a scythe attached to a chain as a weapon, which is nothing lol. her sister was my bff's oc, and they lived in the woods in hiding bc there are vampire hunters who kill half vampires, nigel/casimir being one of them (despite being a secret half vampire himself!! oooo!!!). shit got crazy from there, i honestly can't remember it. of course we had to save the world from evil vampires as the good vampires, as you do
she's from a fun time in my life where i built the foundation for a lot of the skills i have today so i do look at her fondly, but she is very very very "i'm a lonely 13 yr old girl projecting a character everyone would be friends with and love because she's soooo nice and cool and unique". tbf, we did all love her

Can we hear about Cinderheart and bpd?
So last night I spoke to my partner about BPD cats, and we chatted about the various things that should be more common in portrayals of it. I decided I want three characters to show a good "range" of cats with it; We banged out Squirrelflight right away, and eliminated Holly shortly after
We were waffling on who should be the next two; they don't know anything about Warrior Cats so I would suggest and talk about some characters and we'd consider pros and cons of that particular one having BPD. Eventually we just started talking about artists that made relatable art, and Edvard Munch of all people came up
Something that gets lost a lot in discussions about BPD is that... it's not just the "Bad Relationship Disorder." It's a mood intensity one. We were talking specifically about The Scream, you know, this painting,
Tumblr media
And how Munch painted it because, in his words,
"I was walking along the road with two friends – the sun was setting – suddenly the sky turned blood red – I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence – there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city – my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety – and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature."
And Partner said that they REALLY related to that sudden intensity of their surroundings, because they looked at the night sky during a mood drop and were overwhelmed by the sudden darkness that was just, everywhere all at once, more vast than they were capable of comprehending
Me, brain floating in a soup of funny battle cat: "hey thats just like this one scene where cinderheart catches a bird"
So I posted the scene from Sign of the Moon and talked about the canon context, and how that context will be made different by my rewrite, and they were like "Yeah that's relatable, it's the way she starts overthinking out of nowhere and the mood crash that came with it"
So that was when we checked off Cinderheart as one of the characters I'm going to approach with BPD in mind, so that I can focus on how this affects her emotional state and how she copes with it. Her simplicity will let me just explore her during the relaxed, episodic version of Po3 that I'm planning to do.
She's also especially unique since none of the conflicts of canon, nor the one I'm planning in the rewrite, has to do with abuse.
In the Bonefall Rewrite, she has conflict with Lionblaze over his neglect/endangerment of their children for unrelated reasons to the health of their relationship... and it doesn't happen until late OotS/early AVoS. Leaving plenty of time for Cinderheart to have her stories.
We're also considering Lionblaze having BPD, especially to have a male character with it. BPD is often stereotyped as "Crazy Girlfriend Disorder" so we think it'll be good for a boy to have it too, and it could give the two of them common ground to discuss their emotions.
If not Lionblaze, then I could see Breezepelt having it, especially because he is becoming a major POV character in Bonefall AVoS and won't be having any relationship problems with Heathertail when they get together at the end of the arc. But anyway-- this post is about Cinderheart.

in the fate of flames I want to show that starclan isn’t the only religion in the world. In fact Chelford is home too many source of religions and beliefs, because of the vast amount of cats that live there.
and I have this crazy idea that there are cats that worship patrons that help the cats of Chelford
i like it whenever rewrites incorporate other religions into the mix of things. We do have other religions in warrior cats, but they're usually just brushed off to the side and/or the exact same as clan religion
it'd be really neat to see the religions you come up with! It seems like there's a difference in the rewrite with cats who might call to the patrons vs the cats who straight up worship the patrons

You see this? They are all related. Willowpelt and Patchpelt have just been yeeted from this family tree in my rewrite

prsk characters as random things i was weirdly obsessed with as a kid
ichika: starfall
ok i have absolutely no idea if anybody else knows about starfall but when i was in like grade 1 i grinded the FUCK out of this website. i played every single game i was a master and i feel like ichika would have a similar obsession as a little kid.. to this day i see the little floating pictures in front of me when i close my eyes
saki: shopkins
saki would set up shop in a corner of the field during recess to sell shopkins. because i did that. and i made PROFITS. i was a businessman unearthed
honami: restaurant/facility management games
i was OBSESSED. WITH THESE. LIKE THE GAMES WHERE YOU MANAGE A CAFE OR AN APARTMENT AND THINGS LIKE THAT!!! i feel like honami would experience much joy from having a very organized and productive facility and would get super excited every time she unlocks something new like a recipe
shiho: rabbits
self explanatory. personally, i thought i could become one with the rabbits
minori: kpop
haruka: fairies + rainbow magic
airi: a book series called magic kitten/puppy
unfortunately i was not a rad warrior cats kid and instead read magic kitten and puppy
shizuku: barbie movies
i think shizuku would be a fashion fairytale + secret door enjoyer
kohane: sandbox colour by number
an: light up sneakers
i filmed dance covers in these bad boys. you know an would eat these shoes up bro like she'd be the talk of the town
akito: alan walker
im sorry i. im sorry it was the first thing that came to mind
touya: match 3 games
tsukasa: playmobil
he just looks like one. my playmobil city lore went crazy im telling you
emu: slime
nene: cool math games
nene and rui played fireboy and watergirl together real. nene would also aim to max out different papa's games too and her favourite would be the freezeria or sushiria (sushiria is the hardest one iirc)
rui: team umizoomi
DOES ANYBODY ELSE KNOW THIS SHOW!!!!! i watched a fuck ton of tv when i was little and this was one of my top favourites im serious. i think rui would enjoy the idea of using all these super cool gadgets to help other kids and make the town a happier place <3 he would 100% try to recreate bot for sure
kanade: lyric rewriting
ok i had a weird phase, especially when i was a huge kpop fan where i'd write out the lyrics of a song by hand in pen and underline each lyric with a different coloured marker (each colour represented a different member) and i'd keep all these sheets in an organized binder. something about this resonates with kanade imo
mafuyu: ever after high
i think mafuyu and raven queen parallels exist. they are different but they are there i think
ena: musicaly
mizuki: dress up games

Warrior Cats Rewrite: Naming Conventions
Hi my internet was out all day yesterday and I spent the entire day brainstorming a Warriors rewrite, and I'll be starting by rewriting allegiances with new names moreso focused on the specific clans preferences
This is gonna be long and prolly super boring but. LoL
In all the clans, each cat gets their "true" name once they become apprenticed. This dates back to a tradition made by Skystar (or cloud sky) where he tested cats before finding them worthy of a name which he would give. This has changed to kits only getting names once they're apprentices. This is the case for most clans, but some leaders still use Skystar's rule and only name them once they've proven themselves
Each clan has certain naming conventions, which I'll leave under the cut
Thunderclan:
Thunderclan prioritizes strength, they honor the warriors they deem strong with names that are equal in strength. There's pretty much a hierarchy in names in this case, miscellaneous stuff (eg colors, prey animals) < trees/plants < natural occurrences (fire, lightning, storm) < predators (ESPECIALLY big cats, which are seen as a sign of strength)
For suffixes, the most common have to do with appearances (eg stripe or tail) but some deemed worthy are given a suffix honoring them in some way (claw/Fang are common to resemble strength)
Suffixes like "heart" are seen as weak in thunderclan, and most cats will look down on cats with so called "weak" suffixes or prefixes
Examples of names:
Bluefur (common)
Tigerclaw (denotes strength)
Lionfang (denotes strength)
Fireheart (looked down upon as weak)
ShadowClan:
Usually are named after specific strengths (eg brave, swift, strong, etc), they prioritize less on strength and more on individual's specific abilities. They also honor dark colors, so will often be named things like dark/black/night (these kinds of dark prefixes are often seen as a negative thing by thunderclan cats due to their low opinions of shadowclan)
Examples of names:
Blackfoot (common)
Runningbrook (denotes a fast brain, always working)
Riverclan:
Focuses more on a softer and kinder, more diplomatic angle. Often use suffixes like heart or pool, rarely things like claw or fang.
They also prefer things that can be found near rivers, mist, water, willow, vole, etc
Examples of Names:
Rainpool (common)
Willowheart (denotes being good at diplomacy and being kind hearted)
Blackclaw (seen as dishonorable, brutish)
Windclan:
Windclan loves to name themselves after things found in the sky, they see themselves as closest to starclan (having the clearest view of the sky out of all the clans, and being closest to the moonstone)
For another clan to be named something like a bird or something in the sky (eg clouds or sun)
Back when tunnelers existed, their was a divide of sky and land names, with prospective tunneled being named after land animals or plants, while runners being named after things in the sky
Examples of Names:
Rabbitflight (was gonna be a tunneler but ended up a runner)
Hopflight (somewhat common name)
Morningflower (common name)
Other stuff, leaders are given a title instead of having their names changed. The ONLY time when the names changes is when an apprentice becomes a warrior.
Thunderclan leader title: Spark (example: spark blue)
Shadowclan leader title: shade (example: shade black)
Riverclan leader title: stream (example: stream rain)
Windclan leader title: breeze (breeze rabbit)
Most cats refer to the leaders using their title, only those close to the leader is usually seen using their true name.
Skyclan isn't talked about here cuz it's incredibly different and there are no naming conventions, they're just crazy LoL

Do you have plot point in any of the warriors books that you wished was more developed? And one that doesn’t involve all the normal erin writing flaws? Mine is the dog pack from the first arc
They’re supposed to be this ferocious pack that can easily wipe out thunderclan not to mention the other clans, but then canonically the dogs only kill swiftpaw and then die easily by being pushed over the gorge
Thats always been my pet peeve with warrior rewrites, they never utilize the dog pack they always write it with swift still dying as usual, bright dying instead or both living but the dogs *never* kill anything else, honestly i want to tell people to just rewrite the dogs as bloodclan cats instead to go ahead, introduce the rogues and get rid of the dogs because why have these giant terrifying creatures and not utilize them, honestly the dogs should have killed MORE cats, not have it be only tigerstar doing the most of the murders
I had always wished that someone had rewritten it to be like napoleon from animal farm and his pack of dogs, where tigerstar still helps the dogs and they form a bond with him and listen to him so that they become a threat, the dogs start killing thunderclan cats yes but also involve the other clans too!! The dogs just attack cats on command not seeing a difference in the clan cats, just not tigerstar
It would have more weight to it and have tawnypaw running away to shadowclan feel more real, because who would want to be on the opposite side with the dogs? But then the other clans(maybe windclan only because of the four become two thing and riverclan is already with shadowclan) and windclan joins thunderclan to help them push the dogs into the gorge and helps push the two clans thing and push windclan to help join thunderclan
And then when tigerstar loses the dogs he brings in bloodclan, then scourge is like “tf the dogs” and thats why he didn’t help tigerstar out first and wanted to think about it prompting the whole gut rippin and then continue to the 6th book
Idk i just see a lot of aus with swift and bright living and it makes wish the dogs were more terrifying to make the aus hit harder
Oh that’s so fair. I think the dog pack sort of presents a difficult challenge for some writers: keeping the terror of the original while also trying to keep them from being too undefeatable. I do wish most of the villains in the series got higher kill counts tbh but the dog pack certainly should’ve been higher up.
I do like an AU where the dogs are with BloodClan, might give them more reason to take on the Clans if they’re killed a few of their pooches.
As for plot lines I want more from….like there’s a gazillion but the one that comes to mind right away is Stonefur’s death. It’s like the absolute extreme of how the Clan’s xenophobic half-clan blood purity lead to the execution of a cat and almost three others (two of which were children!). Yet, it’s so rarely utilized thematically and kept relevant in the stories. For fucks sake, A Starless Clan refuses to even acknowledge it in favor of the pointless “this is just like Tigerstar 1” comparisons (crazy how Leafstar, who wasn’t even there, remembers that and not how THEY EXECUTED CATS FOR BEING HALF-CLAN. WHILE INSISTING THEY STAY OUT OF EACH OTHERS BUSINESS- like Firestar “King of Snooping in Other Clan’s Business” would be disappointed.)
It’s barely relevant in Blackstar and Leopardstar’s story going past arc one- which. look Leopardstar should’ve been a villain. She approved the execution of her own deputy, she’s routinely antagonistic and there was zero reason not to lean into her being a villain.
But yeah, Stonepelt’s execution should’ve been more thematically relevant in a series that’s themes should’ve been about changing the status quo.

As I figure out all the details in my tfp and rescue bots rewrite, I think I’m gonna test my writing by uploading chapters of TFP AU’s that I’ve been writing.
This one is heavily inspired by warrior cats.
———————————————————————————
“Long ago, our world used to be ruled by two dominant species. Humans and Ailurans. The two species of equal intelligence, battled for land.” They looked the same for the most part, almost making you wonder why they were deemed a different species. Other than their beliefs, the main difference was what the Ailurans could do. They're like werewolves,to a fault, though you could jokingly call them werecats. The Ailurans have a unique ability to shift into a feline form, looking like domestic house cats, but much bigger and stronger with the intelligence of a human.
Back to the conflict between the Humans and Ailurans. “Humans feared the Ailurans and their strength, concerned that their beliefs would lead them to attack. So the Humans attacked first, destroying their villages and breaking apart their clans. So the Ailurans retaliated, they raided Human settlements, killed their kind, and destroyed all they could. The two species fought for many generations, with the Ailurans having the upper hand thanks to their strength and senses.
Well, they had the upper hand till the humans discovered something. This something was devastating, almost like a plague spreading through the shifting species. If you weren't felled by the plague, then you were turned into mindless monsters. The plague changed the course of the war, driving the Ailurans to near extinction. Eventually the Ailurans became desperate enough, for survival, they agreed to a peace treaty.
Though there was still tension between the two races, and every now and then skirmishes would happen, they found true peace and were able to live together in harmony. Eventually most clans and tribes of Ailurans conjoined with those of the humans, and now we live together in harmony.”
“Bah, too sappy ending!” Her little cub stuck his tongue out, making a disgusted face.
June couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her lips. “Well it's a true story, I don’t control how it ends.'' Sure, most mothers would look upon her and frown, the story of her kind wasn't the most child friendly, but June learned these types of stories were the only ones Jack would actually listen to.
The youngling huffed, dramatically pouting as he did “where's dad?” he went back to the subject she tried to distract him from.
June hid her frown “He’s having to work a long night tonight.” she hoped.
Jack gave her a questioning look, but it was soon broken with a yawn. He stretched his limbs, showing off his more feline features.
June smiled at her little cub, knowing that she'd have to get his shifting under control soon. At such a young age, with his body still developing, it could lead to issues in the future if he stayed between forms like he is now.
She heard a knock at the front door.
June cupped her son’s little face “it's time for bed little one,” she gently kissed his forehead “Goodnight, my cub.”
Jack yawned again, snuggling closer to his mouse plushie “Night night momma.”
June smiled, pulling his blanket over his little body. She turned off his light, making sure his nightlight was still on, before quietly closing his door.
Finally she went to answer the front door.
It was eerily quiet. She stood in the center of a clearing, surrounded by all sorts of flora. Mostly green mixed with warm colors. The trees swayed in a wind she could not feel, and light shined from an ethereal source above. She knew it was night though, so either the young Ailuran was going crazy or was just simply dreaming, hopefully the latter. No scent hit her nose, and all the noise she could hear was her own heartbeat.
Suddenly the ground began to shift, whispers of an unknown language chanted beyond her sight. in front of her, the thick wall of greenery parted, showing her a path to a new area. Carefully she moved forward, her eyes darting, trying to spot any dangers. Thankfully it didn't seem like anything was there to attack, so with more confidence she picked her pace up to a trot.
The path, while windy, was short. The youngling arrived at a new clearing, a pond sat in the middle, with a rock wall allowing water to flow down it. The water was crystal clear, pebbles of all shapes and sizes lined the bottom, lily’s along with a few other floating plants, drifted at the top. Inside the pond, koi fish moved together in a graceful dance.
The youngling was so entranced by the fish, she didn't notice the large Ailuran observing her from the top of the rock wall. He was clearly bigger than her, his fur long and white. Sparkling as if he had stars within his coat. His eyes, though slightly judgemental, held a certain fondness in them.
“Miko” he gently called, trying not to spook the young Ailuran. She still jumped a little, but calmed down once she realized what he was.
“Yes?’ Miko called back, awed by his presence.
“Listen carefully youngling,” his voice began to blend in with others, “for there is a prophecy that you need to fulfill.”
Miko’s heart skipped a beat. A prophecy, for her? It was rare for the clan of Ailurans to receive a prophecy, and when they did usually it was received by the leader and their healers, sometimes by fully grown warriors. It's been a long time since an apprentice, such as herself, received any important task from a Fallen.
Before she could speak, the Fallen continued on “this is a task of great importance, you may as be the future of our kind.” He observed her reaction.
With wide eyes, Miko asked “what? What do you mean? What is needed of me?”
The Fallen’s ears twitched “In time, you will come to understand what you will need to do, but you will have to figure out your task on your own.” He continued on, ignoring her confused look “your leader knows of this task, and agrees you are the perfect fit for this, when you wake, go and speak with her.” with his final words, the Fallen faded away.
Miko woke up with a start.
Blearily she looked around the dim room, her eyes still adjusting to the dark, the other apprentices still sound asleep in their bunks. Quietly, Miko stretched to awaken her sleeping muscles. Then she slipped out of the top bunk, silently landing on the floor, making sure to not awaken the apprentice that slept on the bottom. Thankfully Miko was best suited for stealth, even being able to slip by fully trained warriors unnoticed, not that she needs to. Once she left the bunkroom, Miko quickly entered the changing room, putting on clothes more suitable for a meeting with her leader. After fixing her hair, along with a few other things, she exited the Apprentice house.
She shifted into her larger feline form. She was slender, though you could clearly see muscle under black fur. Her coat shined with health, spiking back, giving her a sharp look. She quickly moved through her clan’s grounds, used to all the vegetation that hid the other house for the other classes. The biggest of the homes belonged to the warrior class, she could spot a few of the milling about despite how early it was. The sun wasn't even out. The more colorful of the homes was the nursery, their queens would stay with their cubs until they were old enough to become apprentices, and pregnant queens would move there once they were too pregnant to safely fulfill their duties. Miko could smell their milk from here. A little farther ahead was the elders home, where clan members would go once they were too old to fulfill their duties. Probably an apprentice's least favorite place in the clan. After that was the medicine den, medicine cats who were chosen by the Fallen would stay there, treating sick or injured clan members. Miko had many memories of this place. Finally she spotted the home where the leader and, if they had one, their mate would stay in. It was probably the most regal of the homes here.
Miko spotted a few warriors standing guard, amongst them was her mentor, who was heading towards her. He was bigger than most, his fluffy coat a lovely cream color, though streaks of white began to show. His light green eyes fixed on her.
“I’m surprised you're up this early,” He greeted her “is something up?”
“No,” she didn't know if she was allowed to share her dream “I just need to speak with Fallon.”
She could see the confused look in his eyes “you know apprentices can only speak with their leader when summoned,” there was a slight scolding tone to his voice, “if there's any issue you need to tell me, and I’ll deem if it's important enough to be brought up with her.”4
Before Miko could speak again, their leader exited her home. She was in her humanoid form, tidy as always.calmly she walked up to the two, a hint of a smile upon her face.
“Relax Isamu, she has been summoned” their leaders eyed the warrior “actually, I need both of you to follow me.” she turned around and quickly headed back inside her home.
Isamu gave Miko a questioning look before both of them followed their leader. The room they were greeted to, was a cozy meeting room of sorts, Fallon was already sitting in a plush looking seat. She motioned for them to sit, which they did, and she quickly explained to Isamu what was going on.
With that out of the way, Fallon began explaining what was going to happen to Miko “You are being sent to America.”
Miko’s heart froze. This had to be a joke, America was so far away! She barely paid attention as her Leader and Mentor began discussing the details of her trip, if it was a trip at all. Then, before she knew it, her leaders asked if she had any questions.
She had one “when will I be back?” Miko hesitantly asked.
Her leader gave her an unreadable look “it is unknown when you'll come back, if at all.” that practically confirmed her worst fears, is she being kicked out of the clan?
“What about her training? She’s close to earning her warrior title” Her mentor questioned, she had a feeling that he could read her fears.
Their leader simply shrugged “her training is up to her now, as for becoming a warrior that's for the Fallen to decide .
Then before Miko realized it, she was being sent to pack her bags.
