sweet girl — historia's daughter

notes | i was having brain rot about historia's daughter. she is actually so adorable, and i find it a crime that there is barely anything about her. this is yumihisu centre as well. and to make things for fun, this is set in the 2000s. my girl is an early 2000s baby.

historia named her baby girl after her half-sister, freida.

ymir didn't come around until freida was three. ymir "can't stand kids" but the second freida comes up to her, ymir is so quick to play with her

freida was a barbie girl. she got anything barbie related. ymir tried to get her a bratz doll, but freida kept trying to eat the shoes.

she couldn't get polly pockets either because she tried to eat the clothes on multiple occasions.

one in a million is historia and freida's song. whenever freida's upset, historia just turns that song on & starts singing to her.

my girl is ymir & freida's song.

until the end of time is THEIR SONG. ymir and freida would be dancing to it & then historia comes in to check up on them. ymir just gets all soft and dances with her two favorite girls

ymir dances with her in the living room singing my girl, and the biggest smile comes across freida's face

miss freida was SPOILED.

freida would point at something & ymir would be like "you not getting that." (she is)

historia would just ask freida why she wants it before getting it for her

do NOT separate that girl from her momma

freida will scope the scenery & if she do not see blonde hair & blue eyes, she will start crying

eren, mikasa, and armin babysat freida. this girl do not like eren. eren pick her, she don't even cry. she just gives him this mean ass stank eye. she basically be telling him "put me tf down" in babbles

she's okay with mikasa because they have tea parties & play dolls.

when the eremikamin first babysat freida, she started crying like twenty mins in because she started to realize her mom wasn't there. eren & mika tried to calm her down but nothing was working. freida looked at armin, stopped crying, and just ran to him like "mama!"

the same thing happened when the titan trio watched over her.

berth makes her feel like a giant whenever he puts her on his shoulders. playing wise: she likes bertholdt the most. she always asks for ups when she's with him

THIS GIRL CANNOT STANDDD REINER

freida would be talking in her toddler speech but when reiner even brings his big ass hands near her to pick her up, you'll hear the clearest "NO!"

and when she lets him pick her up, she starts crying immediately and doesn't stop until he puts her down.

eren gets the stank eye, reiner gets the stank face. he can't play with her or nothing. like he would try to play dolls with her and she would snatch them away. she do not like that man 😭

freida starts crying because her mom isn't there. annie comes out of her room & freida sees her. she immediately sprints to annie saying "mommy!"

annie confused as fuck because she is not this girl's mom but she goes along with her.

freida is literally a parrot. people have to watch what they say around her because she WILL repeat it if it sounds like something fun to say. so, historia & ymir try not to curse around her

connie did NOT catch the memo. he was watching freida with sasha & connie. funny enough, she lasts longer & with the trio that doesn't have blonde hair or blue eyes. like they're her favorite.

connie said: "you were an ugly ass baby, but you're adorable now." freida smiled and yelled out "UGLY ASS!" over and over.

when freida learns a new word, she just repeats it over and over. like that word is on loop. so connie had this baby yelling 'ugly ass' on repeat

sasha tried to distract her by asking her to say words like flower, puppy, etc. it lasted for like three seconds before freida started cursing again.

connie accidentally said fuck & shit. freida looked at him before spamming "FUCK SHIT!" jean was stressed out.

they managed to get her to stop the cursing. historia & ymir come home & everything seems fine. historia picks freida up. it's fine until freida looks at historia & goes "mommy, mommy! FUCK SHIT!"

levi, hange, and erwin is freida's least favorite babysitters. hange is fun but she loses freida all the time.

levi & erwin will have her watching crashbox ALL DAY. crashbox is fun but when you watch it all day, every day? and they be having her watch them pbs documentaries too. just education all damn day. like why are you trying to teach toddler multiplication.

babysitting chronicles aside, freida had princess themed bday parties.

like i said, my girl was spoiled so she had them big, poofy dresses with the big ass cake too.

bday parties was the only time freida allowed reiner to come over and be around her. still not allowed to pick her up though.

freida does this thing where if historia & ymir don't like something, SHE doesn't like them either.

the whole reason why freida doesn't like reiner is because ymir doesn't like reiner. and it's the same thing with eren. all ymir said was "i don't like eren that much." freida's mind said fuck eren too.

freida had those big ass barbie dream houses as a kid. she had the trailer too.

freida also had one of those cup things where you could put food in it

ymir tried teaching her spanish. freida only knows a couple words.

freida wanted to be like hitch growing up. miss dreyse was literally the girl with the apple bottom jeans & the boots with the fur. she had that shit ONNNN

when she met hitch for the first time & she wore a pink juicy tracksuit, freida knew who she was at young age

hitch gave freida makeovers all the time

and she brought her toys. them barbies was dressed DOWN.

freida got hella outfits but when ymir dresses her, she got her out here looking like fucking soulja boy.

ymir & historia was freida's first introduction to love. seeing them just be in love was special to freida. she always thought her mom deserved the love she seen in the movies, a fairytale love. freida had never historia more happier than when she's with ymir. that alone made freida believe in true love.

One of the weirdest kids’ shows to be made, created by HBO, meeting one of the weirdest shows in GENERAL, which is saying a lot when you consider Adult Swim’s claim to fame is making weird shows.

The mere thought of the Revolting Slob meeting and having to duke it out with Xavier, as his ramblings about “helping” people gets on the Slob’s nerves, makes me smile, knowing that such an event can possibly happen in this world. It’s the bright thoughts that count.

It’s hard being a Crashbox fan sometimes, you have to deal with the following

People associating it with Pedophillia because of the Daily Capper

People only knowing who Dora and Slob are (Dora because of the Daily Capper, Slob because of how infamously unsanitary he is)

People who want to fuck Johnny because he’s hot (he doesn’t count for the above point because I legitimately haven’t seen anyone talk about his personality or game, just about how sexy he is)

Eddie Bull vore jokes because those are totally the first thing people want to see when trying to find content of him

Reviews talking about how “scary” this show is and how it gave them spooky scary nightmares and how it shouldn’t have been for kids

How hard it is to find content for any character that isn’t Dora, Johnny, Rocket, Sketch, and maybe Bones

Crashbox being obscure because this show is genuinely amazing and I hate how bland ass anime shit and HH/HB are more popular than this show

I love Crashbox but I feel like trying to explain it to someone who has never seen or heard about it would just make you look crazy.

Like yeah, it's this educational kids show where you play different games. One segment has you solving math puzzles while a pirate skeleton verbally berates you the entire time. There's another segment where this dude gets eaten alive and you gotta guess what animal ate him. (The dude's name is Eddie Bull btw) And then there's the Revolting Slob. We don't talk about the Revolting Slob.

"Next game up! Guess the Tune!"

Another Crashbox OC I made last year, meet Melody Maestra.

Melody Maestra is the host of Guess the Tune, in this segment. Melody is the conductor of a performing orchestra in a music hall and they play a piece of classical music and you have to guess what the name of the piece is. The pieces in Guess the Tune range from pieces that originated in ballets, ordinary plays, or just standalone pieces.

Melody drops hints about what piece it might be while her orchestra is playing. Sometimes she brings up who composed the piece, other times she mentions what key it's played in, and if it's a symphony, she'll mention the number it.

Trivia Time!

Melody is a prideful, boastful, but otherwise polite and welcoming host. She always boasts about how you'll figure out the piece easily at the beginning of the segment if you as musically knowledgeable as her. Melody is also very complimentary of her orchestra and kids who answer her questions correctly.

Slightly introverted, although she can be social if she wants.

Melody speaks in a deep and smooth French accent and incorporates French into her dialogue. (EX: "Bonjour! Mes amis. Mon name eez Melody Maestra and ai am ze fine conductair of zis airchestra.) I used a French dialect translator for this.

Melody and her orchestra is animated in a stiff paper puppet style similar to Distraction News.

Melody's mouth moves in a marionette/ventriloquist way similar to Dora Smarmy. But instead of a portion of her jaw moving, its her entire lower jaw.

She's good friends with Professor Rocket, Eddie Bull, and Colora Contour.

I incorporated music theory into her design. Her eyes are whole notes and there's a staff line connecting them and her nose is a half-note. Her hands are quarter notes, and she wears a button with the bass clef on it. (NOTE: She also wears earrings that are the treble clef but I forgot to add them.)

Her favorite pieces are In The Hall Of The Mountain King, Swan Lake Act II, Op. 10, and Toccata and Fugue in D minor.

Her favorite ballet is Swan Lake.

Reads books and listens to classical music in her spare time.

Her game is loaded through the Metal Game Loader and the Car Game Loader.

The icon on her cartridge is just her face, similar to Captain Bones, Radio Scramble, Haunted House Party, etc.

What is Crashbox?

You've probably seen this uncanny valley monstrosity floating around the internet at one point or another. Nowadays it's know for it's weird vibes and unsettling aesthetic, but in all actually, Crashbox is just and early education stop motion animated program that aired on HBO Family.

Ok, but where did this thing come from?

Crashbox was created by Eamon Harrington and John Watkins, animated by Cuppa Coffee Animations, for the reboot of HBO Family in 1999. As such, it only aired for a year, but amassed 2 seasons and 52 episodes making it perfect for reruns. And it did rerun on and off until 2016.

What is this show actually about?

It's about a factory of robots that live inside of a computer where they create the green game cartages that the viewers "play" throughout the episode. Episodes consist then of a series of seven to eight puzzle games that the viewers would solve before going through a highlight of today's puzzles in a "Rewind". The puzzles would cover a variety of concepts such as math, history, and problem solving logic. I'm going to talk about each individual puzzle type in separate posts.

Unfortunately, it seems like there's actually not a lot of information on this show's production and a lot of the folx who worked on it went unaccredited. There seem like there has been some talk about a lost pilot, but lost media is not really my specialty so I'll do some more research on that and get back to you. My Experiences with Crashbox

So I actually grew up watching this show while it was part of the Jam block, in between episodes of A Little Curious and Kindergarten I think. I usually watched it at my grandparents house and I started watching it again as an adult because it brought me a lot of comfort and the puzzles are simple, yet fun. Now I watch it every once in a while with my son who, while he's too young to enjoy the puzzles he enjoys the animation.

Decided to draw My girl Bonita Slobbington (or as she's More regularly called, Pleasant Neatfreak.) Again! crashbox has been on my mind the past few days and idk why that is LOL but it gave me time to think of more things for her ..

Okay, First of all it took me a while to think of a name for her Segment, but I decided on "Squeaky Clean-Up"! It just sounds really cute n perfect ahshahaja...

And another thing is that Her segments will *always* Come directly before or after the revolting slobs, this is not only because they are twin siblings (she came out 2 minutes before him if you're curious) but because the stories actually intertwine with eachother, as they're set in the same area! In season 1, her segment would take place in the kitchen. And then In season 2, her segments would take place in the living room, so they basically switch LOL, so events that would happen in the Slobs segments would be referenced in Pleasants with the usage of details in the background and such! (And vice versa.) She basically works for free with him out of the kindness of her heart.

In her segment, it focuses around helping her Clean up the entirety of the room, teaching Hygiene facts, (in the dora smarmy way, id like to imagine ehehe + two truths and a lie) and the true answers r revealed when she scrubs off something! She starts out timid very meek and nervous, but genuinely happy + grateful at the end of her section, proud of both you and hers work! (So no she doesn't combust LOL) also to note that there's a male narrator, but he only appears at the beginning, since Bonita wouldn't really be too reliant on him.

And I'd like to imagine she'd be animated with stopmotion !! Specifically, she'd be animated using those long, wooden peg dolls.

Oh, and she'd also be REALLY close with the dirty pictures couple, she'd see them as her family and even works there for free! It's basically her comfort place to her and they treat her as if she's their daughter, it's the only place she feels comfortable not wearing her mask n wig.

And as for a voice claim .. teri from gumball, probably.
