⭐️Craigslist Confessional⭐️ . 💫 Helena Dea Bala💫 . This is the most unique book I have ever read. @helenadeabala was a DC lobbyist, who after eating lunch with a man that pan handled near her office and listened to him effortlessly with no fear or judgement, felt unburdened. She decided to take out an ad on Craigslist to listen for free and anonymously with no judgement. Her email box overflowed with people looking to talk about things they felt they could talk to no one else about. . There are 40 first person accounts in this book covering the topics of love, regret, loss, identity and family. It’s simply fascinating and such a portrait of raw human emotion and paints a picture of human kindness and human weakness, betrayal and forgiveness. This is a true character study. I am participating in a buddy read and we were lucky enough to have the author participate as well and ask her questions.
