A superhero short film called Team-up is the latest release from independent collective Glasgow Film Crew is, and it is screening this Thursday 17th August at Blackfriars in Glasgow.

Cast

Playing a major role is Paisley-born Craig McGinlay, who recently appeared on the big screen alongside Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and has been tipped to play the next James Bond.

 And starring in the film is Daniel Cahill, who appeared in an episode of BBC Comedy Feeds in 2016, and has toured with the National Theatre of Scotland.

The film was written and produced Myke Hall, whose previous production credits include Reflections of a Private Eye, Rainbow Cups, and The Man Who Kept Hearing His Name Getting Called Out.

The Director is Graeme Cassels, whose last short film Bruar was part of the official selection for Edinburgh Short Film Festival and First Act Film Festival Glasgow in 2016.

The Glasgow Film Crew are a collective of filmmakers who meet regularly in Glasgow to share resources and collaborate on creative projects. Since their creation in 2013, they have produced over 30 short films and other video content.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and screening of behind the scenes content. The event opens at 7pm, with £3 entry on the door.
