There is a growing problem in this world, Microbreweries. __________________ The craft beer industry was once only scoffed at by large corporations such as Anheuser Busch. Other large breweries continue to adapt with the times and have limited releases to entice new customers. Some craft companies have become the typical sell outs, such as Wicked Weed, while others fight for their #Craftfreedom rights to sling more barrels then god ever intended, such as Noda & OMB. The concern happens when a brewery is no longer a brewery. Expansion and entrepreneurship is the American dream but what defines a brewery? Is there a difference between a restaurant that serves beer and a brewery that serves food? That’s the general discussion today and we figure it out. Learning more about @craftfreedomnc Bill was filed today to ask lawmakers to raise the cap on the annual brewers barrel production limit annually. Contact your legislators today to encourage them to support this. Check out @brewgalooraleigh Facebook page for their emails. What's #craftfreedom you ask? In NC, when a brewery exceeds 24,999 barrels annually, they must sign their distributorship over with a distributor.
