New beers in town! Remember the alcoholic ginger beer I’ve been using for my Daily MCO Drinks lately? It’s part of a new range of craft beers by Running With Thieves, which was recently launched in Malaysia by @TheDrinksBuddyMY alongside bees by Akasha and also some new beers from Beerfarm. The Akasha beers are quite easy drinking, though I do prefer the Mosaic IPA more because of the extra hoppiness. Running With Thieves also has a decent range, very easy sessionable beers, and that Ginger Beer is just lovely. My favourites though, were from @Beerfarm: the Double IPL is a great beer, complex and full of hoppy goodness and yet still very crushable; while the Big Hazy DIPA has to be my favourite beer from them so far. You can get these new beers at the usual craft beer places. Alesmith Luped In IPA, 6.5% ABV, San Diego-styled IPA by @AlesmithBrewing. . The back of the can says the hops are the real star of this beer, and it’s hard to disagree. The hops definitely take prominence here, both on the nose and the entry, before a citrusy fruitiness takes over on the mid-palate, with notes of stone fruits and light pomelos hovering over a layer of citrusy bitter hoppiness. . It’s the kind of beer I can drink really quickly, but at the same time also want to linger longer on. .
