Also, please please please, I’ve already seen people point this out, but can we stop using the CPss’s family tree as reference for CoT? Or the existence of future characters as proof of the current ones’ decisions? When, by the way, they have repeatedly said they don’t want any of what you’re envisioning?
CC highlighted how wrong the family tree is, and why. But honestly, it was clear to begin with.
There’s plenty of contradictions between CPss’s epilogue, family tree, and TLH events; even just between epilogue and family tree, to be fair. However, that’s not the point.
Ideas change, and details are omitted.
For instance: the family tree reveals Eugenia was meant to die in 1930. But then, why does the epilogue show her at Will’s deathbed in 1937?
Either Gideon and Sophie were originally going to have more children - since the epilogue speaks of girls, plural, and Barbara was also supposed to die before Will -, or CC did this on purpose.
In any case, don’t trust the old “canon.”
And, I’m begging you, please don’t use the family tree or the existence of future characters as an excuse for your “this person’s gay and said they don’t want to get married and live their life in pretence, but they won’t draw the line at having biological children, right?” theories.

We are looking into becoming a peer support worker. We live rural, and rnt super familiar with what the process entails. I would be curious to know what it was like for someone with a CDD to work towards that. Would you be able to talk about what it was like for you?
( or if you have spoken about that process before, could you direct us there?)
Many thanks:)
Hey! I didn’t realize I’d talked about that here. I’d start with going to your state Department of Mental Health’s website. From there, it depends on the state. For my state, you go to the page for forms/applications, and there are forms for CPSS (Certified Peer Support Specialist) and CPRSS (Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist) certification programs. You may or may not have to print them out. I had to print and mail mine.
Once you’ve got that squared away, search for CPSS/CPRSS (depending on whether you’re working with general mental illness or substance abuse — often either certification will do!) jobs within the area in general — colleges often have openings, as do many in- and out-patient psychiatric facilities. If you attend 12-step meetings like AA/NA/Al-Anon or have any other in-person support groups, ask around to see if anyone there knows of job openings anywhere in the area.
It’s important to know that when searching for jobs in peer support, word of mouth is going to get you much further than an internet search. Call around, call the Department of Mental Health for your state, call psych facilities. Joining some support groups is a great place to start.
They don’t really care what mental illness you’ve got when you apply for certification, and with jobs it’s usually just a general wheelhouse.
CDDs mean you can work well with trauma and dissociation.
To work in peer support, you’re going to need to be in a place where you are focusing on your recovery and healing and using that as your frame of reference, rather than only shared pain. The reason that peer support works isn’t commiseration — it’s working towards a common goal. Commiserating can certainly be a part of that, but learn to uplift yourself and learn from those around you. Remember that if you treat yourself badly, you’re liable to end up doing the same to others.
Thank you for the ask, and let me know if you have any more questions or need further clarification.

AFCAT Selection Process 2024: A Comprehensive Guide
The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a national-level competitive exam conducted by the Indian Air Force. It serves as the gateway for both male and female candidates to join the Indian Air Force as commissioned officers in flying, ground duty (technical), and ground duty (non-technical) branches. The selection process for AFCAT 2024 is designed to assess candidates' aptitude, knowledge, physical fitness, and suitability for a career in the Indian Air Force. Here's a detailed look at the selection process:
Tumblr media
1. Notification and Application
The AFCAT 2024 notification is expected to be released in December 2023. The notification will provide details about the number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, exam dates, and the application process. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying online through the official AFCAT website.
2. Eligibility Criteria
a. Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
b. Age Limit:
Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as of 1st January 2024.
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as of 1st January 2024.
c. Educational Qualifications:
Flying Branch: Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and a graduate degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty Technical Branches: A minimum of 60% marks in graduation and a degree in engineering or technology.
Ground Duty Non-Technical Branches: Graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
3. AFCAT Written Examination
The written examination is the first stage of the AFCAT selection process. It consists of multiple-choice questions covering the following subjects:
General Awareness
Verbal Ability in English
Numerical Ability and Reasoning
Military Aptitude
Candidates applying for the Ground Duty (Technical) branch also need to appear for the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
4. Result Declaration
The results of the AFCAT written examination are usually declared within a month after the exam. Candidates who clear the written test are called for the next stage of the selection process: the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview.
5. AFSB Interview
The AFSB interview is a comprehensive evaluation process that takes place at one of the AFSB centers located in Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, or Varanasi. The interview process spans five days and includes the following stages:
a. Stage I:
Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test
Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP&DT)
b. Stage II:
Psychological Tests: Conducted by a psychologist to assess the candidate’s personality traits.
Group Tests: These include group discussions, group planning exercises, and outdoor group tasks.
Personal Interview: Conducted by senior officers to evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the Indian Air Force.
c. Stage III:
Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS): Mandatory for Flying Branch candidates to assess their pilot aptitude.
6. Medical Examination
Candidates who clear the AFSB interview are required to undergo a thorough medical examination at designated Air Force hospitals. The medical standards are stringent, and only those who meet the prescribed standards are considered for final selection.
7. Final Merit List
The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the AFCAT written exam, AFSB interview, and medical examination. The Indian Air Force then allocates branches to candidates based on their merit and preference.
8. Training
Selected candidates undergo rigorous training at the Air Force Academy (AFA) in Dundigal, Hyderabad. The training duration varies depending on the branch of service:
Flying Branch: Approximately 74 weeks
Ground Duty (Technical) Branches: Approximately 52 weeks
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches: Approximately 44 weeks
Conclusion
The AFCAT selection process is highly competitive and demanding, designed to identify the best candidates for a career in the Indian Air Force. Aspirants must prepare thoroughly, both mentally and physically, to succeed in this prestigious examination and embark on a rewarding journey of serving the nation.

Biomolecules, Vol. 13, Pages 1660: Unwinding the SARS-CoV-2 Ribosomal Frameshifting Pseudoknot with LNA and G-Clamp-Modified Phosphorothioate Oligonucleotides Inhibits Viral Replication
Ribosomal frameshifting (RFS) at the slippery site of SARS-CoV-2 #RNA is essential for the biosynthesis of the viral replication machinery. It requires the formation of a pseudoknot (PK) structure near the slippery site and can be inhibited by PK-disrupting oligonucleotide-based antivirals. We obtained and compared three types of such antiviral candidates, namely locked nucleic acids (LNA), LNA–DNA gapmers, and G-clamp-containing phosphorothioates (CPSs) complementary to PK stems. Using optical and electrophoretic methods, we showed that stem 2-targeting oligonucleotide analogs induced PK unfolding at nanomolar concentrations, and this effect was particularly pronounced in the case of LNA. For the leading PK-unfolding LNA and CPS oligonucleotide analogs, we also demonstrated dose-dependent RSF inhibition in dual luciferase assays (DLAs). Finally, we showed that the leading oligonucleotide analogs reduced SARS-CoV-2 replication at subtoxic concentrations in the nanomolar range in two human cell lines. Our findings highlight the promise of PK targeting, illustrate the advantages and limitations of various types of DNA modifications and may promote the future development of oligonucleotide-based antivirals. https://www.mdpi.com/2218-273X/13/11/1660?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=tumblr

Product Registration Rules and Regulation
Tumblr media
Registration of products like beauty care products, prescriptions, food items, and so on, is obligatory prior to scattering in the neighborhood market.
Any association that needs to import, fabricate, convey or sell any item should autonomously register that item. Enlistment legitimacy is on an organization level and requires a Legitimate
Exchange/Modern Permit in UAE with a connected movement. The item should concur with the suggested wellbeing and security details highlighted in CPSS (Buyer Items Wellbeing Segment).
Really at that time Product Registration Certificate is given. If the item gets dismissed, the Item Evaluation Report is given and such a thing isn't allowed to be conveyed in the nearby market (not supported item).

Samskritam Oral Proficiency Micro-Certificate (SOPMC) - HUA
It is a Micro Certificate in Spoken Samskritam (MCSS) is a four-quarter 6-credit-hour, leisurely study of Samskritam as a spoken language. It teaches students who are familiar with that they are familiar with the Samskritam (aka "Sanskrit") or DevanAgarii script but have lacking fluency in the conversational aspect and to attain a degree of Conversational proficiency through simple, real-world situations and skits.
In the Hindu University of America, Samskritam is approached as a living language that inspires and enriches the culture and civilization as well as its wisdom and worldview as well as its spirituality and philosophy. In addition, considering Samskritam into consideration as an actual language the MCSS course is focused on a variety of aspects that comprise the Sanskrit language, including writing, reading and speaking, as well as listening and understanding. The ability to access Samskritam can give students to speak fluently and easily. The MCSS is a base for all students starting from High School.
There is a tremendous sense of satisfaction that comes from mastering a new language, no matter the language. Each new word you learn brings a new feeling of achievement, and when students master vocabulary, learn the fundamental grammar rules, and begin to construct complete sentences, each one is a significant achievement similar to advancing in the game.
Each test and quiz that is completed successfully can trigger an endless cycle of virtuousness that leads the student to greater success. If the language that is being learned is Samskritam and the pleasure of learning is multiple as it gives an immediate access to the master key of the current Hindu Civilization, to the stories and texts of its rich tradition of dharma yoga, jnana, music, art and dance as well as the many spiritual and cultural traditions.
The MCSS is aimed at students who are eager to master and communicate in the language of their choice, and students who want to learn about the works and literary works from the Hindu and Indic world, as well as its many related knowledge systems. There is no prior knowledge of Samskritam is required and the medium of instruction is initially English. As students improve their ability, the language of instruction will gradually shift to Samskritam in a manner that is easy and comfortable for the students.
Learning Objective(s): Micro Certificate in Spoken Samskritam
After completing the course of study, students will be able to attain an understanding of the Sanskrit language in the six dimensions that follow:
(a) Reading correctly pronunciation (i.e. the alphabets, sentences, and words); paThanam(b) Writing with no errors (Forming coherent sentences and paragraphs); lekhanam(c) listening (Comprehending Sanskrit speech when someone else is talking); shravaNam
(d) Conversation (Being capable of speaking grammarally correct Sanskrit in a manner that other people can understand what it means); sambhAShaNam, and
(e) Comprehensive (Being capable of engaging with complicated sentences, both spoken and written, and understand the meanings of them without assistance. avagamanam
After completing the three phases, or in tandem students will be offered the option of taking on additional advanced studies in Sanskrit via an additional program called the Certificate Program in Samskritam Proficiency (CPSP) which is also offered through HUA. HUA. In all cases, students will be part of a "Higher Education" ecosystem that allows for advanced learning in Hindu studies, as in Sanskrit Literary studies. Both the MCSS as well as the CPSS are designed in a way that is innovative and based on an excellent curriculum.
