GQ & ADLAD CPN

@accio-victuuri has a post about some of the CPN from the GQ feature on GG. There are a couple more CPNs that I wanted to talk about because - with the exception of a couple of tidbits - I haven't seen turtles talking about some things that really stood out to me.

Both of the tidbits being discussed by BXG are based on fake rumors from the past.

Godly Back

Turtles feel that the backless jacket might be what was referred to in the recent LRLG rumor (Apparently wangwang senbei can be a homophone sounding like 'godly back').

In this context, "You saw what I wore, can you please choose something normal" becomes hilarious. 😅

If he really was talking about GG's back, well... DD, the rest of the internet agrees with you given the hotsearch that was trending on both the main and entertainment hotsearches. 😅

GGDD and ADLAD

This one I wanted to dig more deeply into because it's connected to a few different CPN from a long time ago, and a lot of turtles might not be aware of all these connections.

In the GQ interview GG mentioned he was really nervous for the first performance of ADLAD.

At the time a LRLG rumor came out with some exchanges between GG and DD in the days leading up to that first show. GG talks about being nervous, DD and his staff video call him to wish him Jiayou, and at one point - presumably the last time they talk before that first show - DD video calls with GG and closes off by giving him a high 5.

The day after the first show, GG posted on Weibo.

At the time there was a lot of speculation about what that second photo was. One of the theories was that GG had screen capped DD's hand high-5-ing his phone. Some fans even tried doing that themselves (screencapping their hands up against their phone cameras to see what would happen) with somewhat similar results - photos that were an ombre of pale pink to red.

Some additional CPN

When I saw GG talking in GQ about the first ADLAD show and how nervous he was and I saw turtles looking back over the LRLG rumors from that time, I decided to look over those rumors myself. I found a couple things there that really hit me in the gut, but which I haven't seen other turtles discussing.

Magician DD

One thing that stood out to me from the ADLAD LRLG rumor was when DD told GG he could do magic, and told his staff that only GG believed him.

Back in 2021 a series of pages called the 300G were released, which claimed to be transcripts of some of the best unseen moments from The Untamed BTS (300GB of BTS footage was reportedly sold to BXG fansites). They were translated by an all-star team of some of the best BXG translators and overall fandom MVP on Twitter back in the day (god I miss those days of Twitter 😢).

Disclaimer: We must remember that these are unconfirmed transcripts. As far as I know, none of the footage that could substantiate these transcripts has ever been released, so it could just be someone's fanfic.

Anyway, my absolute favorite moment in those transcripts was an exchange between GG and DD, when GG had been struggling with nailing a scene. My synopsis from a post I made about GG and DD's personalities a while back:

GG is having a hard time getting a take right for a scene, and the director tells him to take a break. DD scoots over to where GG is resting and holds out his two fists facing downward in front of GG and asks him to pick one for a surprise. GG agonizes a bit over which one to choose, but finally picks a hand. DD gives GG a mysterious smile and asks GG to hold out his hand. GG does, and DD opens his fingers over GG’s palm. There’s nothing there. DD says, “I’ve just given you some luck, so that on your next take, you will succeed.” GG asks what is in the other hand and DD turns it over and opens it and says, “See, there’s nothing there! Zhan-ge is so good, you guessed right on the first try!” GG rolls his eyes at DD and says, “WYB, in your heart, do you think I’m more than 10 years old?” On the next take, GG nails the scene.

So it's just possible that DD and GG have a long history of this type of exchange, of DD giving GG his 'magical' support. GG is just superstitious enough that it might genuinely help him, and anyway, who could fail to be soothed by such sweet magic? 🥹

GG and Sleep

Another thing that stood out to me is when GG talked about being unable to sleep. Honestly this part of the interview really got me because I have always struggled with extreme insomnia and I could totally feel his pain. I've tried so many of the things that he's tried, and have had similarly mixed/poor results.

Anyway, aside from the aromatherapy candle CPN that's been heavily discussed in the fandom, what stood out to me CPN-wise was the fact that LRLG rumors have (I think this has happened at least a few times, but I can't recall specifics), featured moments where it seemed like GG and DD left their phone/video calls active to keep each other company when the other one was sleeping.

In the ADLAD LRLG rumor there's a moment when it seems like GG might be having difficulty sleeping and DD keeps him company.

Find someone who will keep you company over the phone while you try to take a nap. 🥹

Firecrackers

Just another quick thing from that same rumor, DD talks about wanting to set off some firecrackers for GG, which... ugh, so sweet. My god.

His staff encourages him to do it, and he says he will be 'taken away' if he does (maybe get into trouble, likely exaggerated a bit), and his staff says he'll cover for DD.

In Chinese culture (and in fact, in many cultures), firecrackers are considered very lucky because they are believed to drive away evil spirits and bad luck (which is why they're such a feature of Spring Festival celebrations).

GG and DD always look out for each other, and this CPN around ADLAD and around GG's sleep struggles really hit me hard. I love them both so damn much!

i am referencing this post which was allegedly shared in 2021. i like how it’s written and the cpn clues inserted, then making a whole story out of it. a reason why most of us love lrg and other rumor anecdotes is because it’s simple and shows what their day to day life is like. tho they are celebrities with extraordinarily busy lives, the thought of them just being zz and bobo is comforting and sweet. it may be confusing cause there are parts where they are both referenced as they. and then it will switch to “i” as if in the person’s first person pov.

they should have a cat and a dog. everyone knows the cat's name is Tao, the dog’s name also matches the cat very well, it’s called Lizi. it’s a puppy ZZ bought it on impulse, but in the end I had to give it to my mother in Chongqing to deal with the aftermath. they have a home in Beijing, with a room full of helmets and musical instruments. there is also a room equipped with a projector, with warm and artistic decoration. when the two people are tired, they can lie here and watch movies together. there is also a big LCD TV, two people playing games to decide the outcome and doing housework.

the kitchen should be well-equipped, but the storage of materials is not alot, both of them are busy and have little time to cook, but there should be someone that makes trouble while the other person is cooking, and the other person will teach. when that person was making hand cakes, he had a headache several times and wanted to curse.

the room they sleep in, well, the bedding must be of high quality, it must be very comfortable and considerate for two people who both have the habit of sleeping naked. someone should install a night light in the toilet so that people who are afraid of the dark can get up in the middle of the night. there will be lights as soon as the toilet is near. there should be a lot of things on the bedside, eye drops, stomach-protecting tablets, Ryukakusan, cough cough... In short, both of them takes good care of your body! there will be a light fragrance in the room. they are all people who love cleanliness, maybe it’s also due to the scented candles.

there is a huge closet, which could have been used as a styling area in the beginning. one will often buy several pieces at a time and wrap them up. the other will also complain that one person loves shopping so much that he is not frugal and knows how to organize his clothes regularly. it was painful to pick out an old model to wear, and taught another person: "See, this is okay. Today, YBO released the poster showing the sequence of «Exploring the unknown». The episode «Walking Alone in the Desert» airs on October 5th and 6th.

And we see an interesting sequence: on August 5th, DD posted the photo from the documentary where he is standing in the desert, this photo is surprisingly similar to GG's photo that he posted on October 5th, 2023, and the episode about the desert will be released on October 5th, 2024. Their birthdays turned out to be twisted into such a mysterious cycle.

This is not the first time that such interesting things have happened with birthdays. On October 5, 2020, DD wore the Gucci lion head necklace while racing motorcycles; on August 5, 2021, GG made his vlog wearing the same lion head necklace, and on October 5, 2021, GG posted this vlog.

Ya Allah Kenapa PR ku kembali terulang, seperti dejavu tahun 2021.

hal-hal berhubungan dengan dua pilihan adalah hal yang sulit bagiku, ini adalah salah satu PR besar untuk ku bisa melewatinya, setelah memahami bahwa hidup itu berulang, aku jadi sekarang lebih memaknai tiap moment yang terjadi. yaa seperi kali ini, aku benar-benar galau, seperti kejadian tahun 2021 memilih hal yang membuatku galau, Allah selalu menguji demikian, dan hasilnya yaaa pilihanku SALAH besar ternyata.

Akankah aku salah lagi kali ini? atau ini adalah keberuntunganku??? hal itu yang selalu ada dalam pikiranku, membelengu, seakan aku takut untuk melangkah. tapi aku harus melangkah.

Masih suka ‘belum sadar’ kalau hidup yang dijalani sudah sejauh ini.

Misal: ngelihat kabar baik seseorang baru lulus magister suka kagum—dan pengen juga. LHA GIMANA? Kan udah lulus magister juga dari 2021 kemarin. Bahkan sudah lolos CPNS Dosen di kampus PTNBH juga.

Bukan karena haru atas pencapaian orang lain, bukan tidak turut berbahagia. Tapi, akunya memang sampe ga sadar diri kalah udah sejauh ini. Masih aja pengen, padahal udah pernah, dijalani sambil nangis-nangis juga, effort juga buat lulus, sadar momen yang dilalui kala itu juga panjang.

Demi apa, sesuka itu sama sekolah. Kalau ada kesempatan pengen bisa lanjut sekolah doktoral:’)

Bergerak

Abis baca you are a bada** nya mba Jen (belum kelar sih, you know me lah kalau baca buku dicicil satu-satu semua buku barunya wkwk), I feel like getting energy to moving on.

Move on soal masalah dari 2021 (gue doang sih yang bermasalah, beliaunya gak), masalah work out gue, how I see adulting life, pekerjaan dan lain - lain. Mungkin gue cuma butuh legowo aja, harus diikhlasin bener-bener biar bisa "Ya udah, I have done it".

Jabatan, uang, teman itu semua bisa datang dan pergi. Mungkin gue terlihat kaya ga punya perasaan. But, actually pas anak-anak lulus CPNS gue mixed feeling, cuma itu semua sudah gue pikirkan dan renungkan sejak mereka daftar (sejak mereka rusuh malam - malam. Coba bayangkan aja ada 2 manusia fire sign ketemu sama 2 manusia water sign. Jadi air mendidihlah itu perdebatan). Jadi pas mereka udah kelar SKB pun, I feel like I have to prepare my heart and another things. Pas pengumuman resmi juga gue senang. Sekaligus sedih, karena partner sparring gue bakalan berkurang (banyak). Also, about jabatan (bukan jabatan gue), semua itu akan berputar. Kaya hidup aja. Pas banget kan lagi orientasi, disitu ada materi bahwa semua yang diamanahkan ke kita itu harus dikerjakan dengan bertanggung jawab dan sungguh - sungguh. So, I will learn from a closer look, whether this is a good example, bad example or combining both of them.

Gue harus jadi orang pertama yang stand for myself. I mean, di tengah keraguan yang ada, I have to be kind to myself. Udah sejauh ini, udah di sini, semuanya harus disyukuri. Pernah nemu kalimat "Kamu yang sekarang itu adalah posisi atau kondisi yang diharapkan sama orang lain". Terus otak gue yang sekarang mikir, "Apa iya gue harus bersyukur bahwa posisi ini adalah posisi yang diharapkan orang lain?" Kalau ternyata ga ada yang mau sama posisi ini, apakah lantas gue tidak bersyukur? Jawabannya pasti mau gimanapun itu gue tetep harus bersyukur. Pasti akan selalu ada detik dimana gue harus terus berkembang, memaksa diri gue buat terus belajar jadi lebih baik. Dari yang sebelumnya.

Dari bergerak ini salah satu hal yang harus diwaspadai adalah kepastian untuk mengalami kelelahan (pas banget kan ada topik soal kelelahan otot). Harus bisa ngatur waktu untuk istirahat, terus kalau udah istirahat gimana caranya biar ga kelamaan terus mager-statis ga ngapa-ngapain. Harus bisa ngatur energi aktivasi untuk bekerja lagi.

Marketplace Guru dalam Tinjauan Prinsip Birokrasi Ideal Max Weber

Pendahuluan

Penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai persoalan terkait tata kelola guru serta reformasi birokrasi yang tentu berdampak terhadap kualitas pendidikan Indonesia. Tak terhitung banyaknya guru yang hingga sekarang masih mendapatkan gaji di bawah upah minimum regional, atau guru honorer yang tak kunjung mendapatkan kepastian kapan mereka diangkat menjadi ASN. Salah satu masalah guru yang baru-baru ini sedang ramai dibahas adalah terkait rekrutmen guru. Memang benar bahwa sejak lama, permasalahan ketersediaan guru merupakan hal yang cukup memprihatinkan lantaran upaya pemenuhan guru baru tidak selaras dengan jumlah guru yang pensiun (Andina & Arifa, 2021). Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Indonesia, Nadiem Makarim, berpendapat bahwa permasalahan kekurangan guru di sekolah-sekolah terjadi akibat perekrutan guru yang tidak real time. Guru bisa pindah, pensiun, mengundurkan diri, atau meninggal sewaktu-waktu tetapi sekolah tidak dapat langsung menggantikan mereka karena harus menunggu perekrutan guru ASN yang terpusat (Hikmia, 2023). 

Sistem rekrutmen guru ASN yang dilakukan secara terpusat dengan mengikuti pola penerimaan CPNS nyatanya memang menuai banyak masalah. Perekrutan sistem CPNS berfokus pada lulusan baru dengan penggunaan batasan usia sehingga tidak memberikan kesempatan bagi mereka yang sedang berada di tengah karier namun telah melebihi usia 35 tahun yang berakibat pada guru yang sudah memiliki pengalaman mengajar justru tidak dapat melakukan seleksi CPNS (Andina & Arifa, 2021). Tidak hanya itu, kebutuhan guru yang selalu ada setiap tahunnya tidak diimbangi dengan penyelenggaraan rekrutmen CPNS guru oleh pemerintah daerah sehingga sekolah-sekolah terpaksa merekrut guru honorer yang berakibat pada melonjaknya jumlah guru honorer dan distribusi guru semakin tidak merata. Berangkat dari permasalahan rekrutmen guru ini, Nadiem Makarim kemudian menciptakan terobosan baru yakni marketplace guru.

Studi Kasus

Marketplace guru dicetuskan oleh Nadiem Makarim dalam rapat kerja dengan Komisi X DPR RI pada 24 Mei 2023 sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan rekrutmen guru. Sesuai dengan namanya, sistem marketplace guru sendiri tak ubahnya dengan sistem berbelanja di e-commerce. Marketplace guru merupakan basis data berisi daftar guru yang layak mengajar dan data ini dapat diakses oleh seluruh sekolah di Indonesia. Melalui basis data ini, sekolah dapat merekrut guru secara langsung sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kualifikasi sekolah berdasarkan dengan data guru yang ditampilkan dalam profil. Sistem rekrutmen guru melalui marketplace ini diperuntukkan bagi para guru dengan syarat telah dinyatakan lulus sebagai calon ASN dan/atau merupakan lulusan pendidikan profesi guru yang memenuhi kualifikasi sebagai calon ASN.  Perekrutan guru yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara terpusat kini dikembalikan kepada kluster sekolah dengan kepala sekolah sebagai pemegang kendali sehingga sekolah tidak perlu menunggu pemerintah daerah maupun pusat membuka formasi ASN. 

Berdasarkan keterangan dari laman Universitas Islam An-Nur Lampung yang termuat dalam portal berita harian Detik.com, sistem operasional rekrutmen guru melalui marketplace ini melalui beberapa tahapan. Pertama adalah penginputan data calon guru ke dalam database yang kemudian akan menampilkan profil lengkap dari para guru. Kedua, profil guru yang ditampilkan dalam database tersebut akan digunakan oleh sekolah-sekolah untuk mengakses informasi terkait kualifikasi dari guru yang dibutuhkan untuk mengisi kekosongan tenaga pengajar sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan dari sekolah. Ketiga, setelah menemukan kriteria dari calon guru yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan melalui proses seleksi pada marketplace, sekolah dapat langsung melakukan tahapan selanjutnya yakni wawancara sekaligus uji kompetensi yang dilanjutkan dengan keputusan penerimaan dari pihak sekolah. Sistem rekrutmen guru melalui marketplace ini memberikan kuasa penuh kepada sekolah dalam menentukan jalannya proses perekrutan dan penerimaannya di mana pihak sekolah bebas untuk membuat kesepakatan dan menentukan sistem kerja dari guru tersebut apakah sebagai pekerja tetap atau kontrak dengan penentuan insentif berdasarkan performa kinerja serta capaian prestasi yang diraih. 

Selain itu, marketplace guru ini juga menawarkan sistem rekrutmen yang lebih fleksibel dalam hal waktu karena memiliki jangka waktu perekrutan yang lebih pendek serta proses rekrutmen yang dilalui calon guru terbilang lebih cepat, lantaran tahapan seleksi yang dilakukan tidak terlalu banyak. Ditambah lagi dengan penggunaan lokasi seleksi yang tersebar serta dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun, memberikan opsi kepada calon guru sebagai tenaga pengajar dan sekolah sebagai perekrut yang dapat dengan mudah melakukan penyesuaian lokasi kerja. Kemudian, rekrutmen pada sistem marketplace guru ini terbuka dan menyasar berbagai kalangan calon guru dengan rentang usia yang lebih beragam lantaran sistem ini tidak memiliki batasan usia tertentu yang menjadi kriteria dari para calon guru yang akan mendaftar. Terakhir, bentuk seleksinya yang bukan berdasarkan pada perolehan hasil tes tertulis dari materi tertentu yang diujikan meminimalisir standarisasi atas nilai sebagai bahan pertimbangan diterima atau tidaknya calon guru sebagai tenaga pengajar, melainkan lebih pada melihat kemampuan dan keterampilan yang dimilikinya. 

Analisis Teori Berdasarkan Kasus

Kebijakan Nadiem dalam pembentukan sistem marketplace guru sebagai upaya mengatasi masalah rekrutmen guru dalam perspektif Weber masuk ke dalam ranah rasionalitas instrumental yang mencangkup dua hal yaitu tujuan dan alat. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pembentukan marketplace guru yakni untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah rekrutmen guru yang tidak dapat terselesaikan lewat rekrutmen CPNS dan PPPK. Sistem rekrutmen lewat CPNS dan PPPK dilakukan secara terpusat sehingga sekolah yang membutuhkan guru harus menunggu hingga CPNS dan PPPK diselenggarakan untuk dapat merekrut guru baru. Berangkat dari permasalahan ini, maka solusi yang ditawarkan sebagai alat untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan membuat sebuah sistem rekrutmen secara real time, melalui penyesuaian proses serta pengelolaan tata cara rekrutmen dengan memanfaatkan teknologi agar lebih efektif dan efisien dalam hal kecepatan dan kemudahan layanan perekrutan yang disediakan. 

Dalam konteks birokrasi, Weber berpendapat bahwa terdapat lima tipe birokrasi ideal yaitu: (1) standarisasi dan formalisasi; (2) pembagian kerja dan spesialisasi; (3) hierarki otoritas; (4) profesionalisasi; serta (5) dokumentasi tertulis (Weber, 1947). Berdasarkan lima tipe ideal birokrasi menurut Weber, terdapat beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam kebijakan marketplace guru ini, meliputi pertama adalah standarisasi dan formalisasi terkait kebijakan marketplace guru. Robbins dalam (Kadir, 2018) menjelaskan bahwa formalisasi dalam organisasi adalah tingkat standarisasi dari pekerjaan dalam organisasi tersebut serta sejauh mana peraturan, instruksi, komunikasi, dan prosedur ditulis. Pada konteks marketplace guru, diperlukan prosedur yang jelas dalam sistem rekrutmen guru serta landasan hukum yang kuat agar hak-hak guru dapat terpenuhi. Apabila prosedur pengangkatan guru tidak jelas serta tidak ada landasan hukum yang melindungi guru, maka tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa pihak sekolah dapat berlaku semena-mena terhadap guru lantaran proses rekrutmen kini dipegang sepenuhnya oleh sekolah. 

Prinsip kedua yang harus diperhatikan adalah prinsip pembagian kerja dan spesialisasi. Weber berpendapat bahwa birokrasi yang baik adalah ketika setiap orang memiliki bagian kerja yang sesuai dengan keahliannya.  Dalam sistem rekrutmen marketplace guru, pihak sekolah dapat memilih secara langsung guru yang dinilai memiliki kualifikasi sesuai dengan kriteria kebutuhan sekolah. Namun, perlu diingat bahwa guru bukan komoditas yang dapat dipilah-pilih melainkan sebuah pekerjaan yang memiliki hak-hak tersendiri. Untuk itu, sistem marketplace guru perlu memberikan jaminan bahwa guru tetap memiliki hak untuk menerima atau menolak pekerjaan apabila tidak sesuai dengan spesialisasi profesi keguruannya. Hal ini ditujukan agar guru terhindar dari pekerjaan yang tidak sesuai dengan keahlian atau mendapat beban pekerjaan yang terlalu berat. 

Ketiga, perlu diperhatikan terkait hierarki otoritas. Dalam marketplace guru, proses rekrutmen tidak lagi dipegang oleh pemerintah pusat maupun pemerintah daerah melainkan oleh pihak sekolah. Untuk itu, kembali pada pembahasan pertama, dibutuhkan prosedur yang jelas serta landasan hukum yang kuat agar kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh sekolah sebagai pemegang otoritas tertinggi dalam rekrutmen guru selalu berdasarkan hukum dan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah pusat dan bukan berdasarkan kepentingan pihak tertentu saja. Terakhir, perlu diperhatikan pula terkait profesionalisasi. Bevir (dalam Kadir 2018) mendefinisikan profesionalisasi sebagai suatu proses yang mendorong dan melindungi kepentingan pemangku jabatan secara profesional. Perlu dipastikan bahwa guru yang terdaftar pada marketplace guru dipilih secara obyektif yang mana pemilihan guru selalu mengutamakan keahlian dan kualifikasi tertentu dan bukan karena alasan lainnya. Hal ini penting dilakukan agar proses rekrutmen guru terhindar dari praktik kolusi, korupsi, dan nepotisme yang dilakukan baik oleh pihak sekolah maupun pihak calon guru.

Kesimpulan

Secara substansial kebijakan marketplace guru ini layak dan patut dilakukan uji coba untuk diaplikasikan. Akan tetapi, perlu diingat bahwa seperti sebuah sistem baru pada umumnya yang masih dalam tahapan awal perencanaan, diperlukan adanya tinjauan kembali sebelum benar-benar diimplementasikan. Evaluasi dan saran yang dapat kami sampaikan adalah pertama dari segi penamaan. Penggunaan istilah “marketplace” hanya sebagai upaya peniruan dan adopsi sistem rekrutmen dari konteks belanja online yang mengedepankan efektifitas, efisiensi, dan fleksibilitas pelaksanaan. Untuk itu, setelah publikasi ide dari sistem marketplace ini dimuat, diperlukan adanya peninjauan kembali dari penggunaan istilah penamaan yang disesuaikan dengan konteks pendidikan. 

Kedua, dari segi kebijakan dalam sistem marketplace guru ini, terdapat tiga hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Pertama, diperlukan adanya ketetapan batasan periode waktu tertentu bersifat paten yang nantinya digunakan sebagai patokan dalam hal pengangkatan guru sebagai ASN maupun pemecatan yang didasari hukum. Dengan adanya indeks penetapan waktu, maka menjadi pertimbangan yang jelas dari pihak sekolah guna melakukan pengangkatan berdasarkan evaluasi kerja sebelum berakhirnya periode tersebut dan dari pihak guru terkait kepastian status yang dimilikinya. Kedua, terkait gaji dan tunjangan, perlu dilakukannya standarisasi dengan menetapkan gaji pokok yang diikuti dengan tunjangan yang akan diperoleh sesuai dengan masa kerjanya dimana dapat menggunakan pertimbangan gaji dan tunjangan yang setara dengan ASN. Ketiga, terkait persaingan kerja dari calon guru yang mendaftar untuk diberikan pembatasan dengan skala regional yang digunakan untuk meminimalisir terpusatnya para pendaftar pada satu wilayah saja, dengan begitu tenaga pengajar yang ada dapat disebar di berbagai wilayah tanpa adanya dominasi atas wilayah tertentu terhadap wilayah lainnya.

Man… I am so fed up with the dwp

In February I applied for Carer’s Allowance online bc I wanted to avoid phone conversations and we really struggled so much over winter with the energy bills and other utilities, and because I look after my brother I was eligible for it anyway. This was back in February. I waited nearly 15 whole weeks to hear back (bc I’d read online the backlog might take that long). Then my dad called up to chase up the application. I had to verify everything again. I wasn’t sure if they were treating it as a new application from the date of the phonecall or if they’d hurry the February application along.

Few more weeks pass and my brother’s CPN came for a visit and heard about this and so HE calls up to chase it up. I got put on the phone again to verify everything all over again. This time I asked if they had received the application at all in February. I was told they had, on the 11th of February but that for some reason it had never been moved along. This was in June by this point. I was told my February application would be marked as priority to move it through faster.

Some time later a letter came in saying I owed the Dwp £1000 for excess payments I’d never received. This had me panicking bc I didn’t have £1000. Shortly after that a second letter came in rejecting my application outright because for some reason despite the numerous phone calls and the original online application all being told that my brother is the one I look after, and giving them his national insurance number and full name… they somehow thought I was applying to look after my granny who has been in a care home since 2021 and doesn’t receive attendance allowance anymore. This was just. Baffling. I used to receive carer’s allowance up until 2021 when she went into hospital but that was all cancelled so I don’t know how they managed to get it so confused.

So yet another phonecall was made to fix both this misunderstanding and the £1000 thing with an emphasis on absolute clarity, making sure they know we’ve been waiting months for this application process to end, that it’s my brother I’m looking after and that we were told the application would be given priority to hurry it along.

Anyway that was in June

it’s August now. And we haven’t heard a fucking peep….

I’m not sure I’m ever going to receive it, which is scary as we move closer to the end of summer. We only got through last winter because I had had money saved up from trying to buy a new laptop. That extra was all that kept us going and then it ran out and we stopped using the heating and anything else we could as much as we could to cut costs.

I’m honestly kind of scared that when it gets cold again and the energy bills are still high that we’re not gonna have money for utilities and bills and food.. Summer has been a relief bc we haven’t had to have the heating on pretty much at all but that’ll change once things get colder again…

I’m just fed up tbh. We’ve been waiting since February. We have had multiple phone calls chasing it up and correcting their mistakes. What is taking so long now???

why the hell is it such a nightmare just to get an extra bit of money to keep us going…

Cerita Tentang 2022 (Season 1)

Bagiku tahun 2022 adalah tahun dimana aku bertemu manusia-manusia yang memberikan positive vibes buat hidup aku. Bertemu orang baru yang benar-benar menjadi sahabat,saudara, keluarga mungkin teman hidup ( we never know). Setelah mengalami beberapa kegagalan di tahun 2021, ternyata 2022 memberi banyak warna buat perjalanan mengakhiri usia 20-an.

Di awal tahun selagi menunggu panggilan kerjaan setelah selesai kontrak dan gagal SKB CPNS di akhir tahun, aku memutuskan menjadi freelance vaksinasi yang masih gencar pada saat itu khususnya vaksin booster. Bulan Februari, saat melihat grup Nusantara Sehat (NS) ada info bahwa Panitia di BBPK Ciloto membutuhkan alumni untuk menjadi Camp Manager (CM) di Pelatihan NS team batch. Wah, ini kesempatan untuk kembali nostalgia dengan suasana pelatihan yang dulu aku pun melakukannya selama 40 hari di tempa oleh para Komandan TNI. Ingat dulu selagi masih jadi peserta, punya niatan bakal datang lagi ke Ciloto entah itu jadi pegawai, peserta pelatihan, mungkin saja jadi mentor. (Aku selalu amaze dengan cara Allah mengabulkan omongan yang sekiranya kita anggap ringan dan tanpa usaha tapi Allah kabulkan-omongan adalah doa- kiranya begiutu)

Pelatihan adek-adek NS sekarang dibagi dua sesi, online dan klasikal. Jadi, kita datang bertatap muka hanya dapat seminggu sampai pelepasan di Ciloto. Akhir Maret adalh awal perjumpaan aku dengan sembilan alumni lainnya yang direkrut. Panitia pelatihan memang membutuhkan 10 orang alumni untuk jadi CM. Selayakanya teman seangkatan, ternyata kita langsung klop meski berasal dari batch yang beda-beda dan langsung bernostalgia seperti kawan yang sudah lama tidak jumpa.

Mereka adalah orang-orang hebat yang Allah siapkan untuk aku kenali dan temui, kebanyakan berasal dari Sumatra dan Jawa tapi dapat penempatan di Ujung Barat dan Timur Indonesia. Pengalaman mengabdi mereka luar biasa dibandingkan aku. Ada dua Bhayangkari yang selalu menasehati kami yang masih pada jomblo ini dalam hal mencari pasangan tentunya berdasarkan pengalaman mereka. Ada yang sedang menunggu pengumuman Beasiswa Tubel NS dan akhirnya dapat. Ada yang sedang menunggu acc visa kerja buat ke OZ dan akhirnya dapat juga. Ada juga pejuang-pejuang pencari nafkah serta jodoh (sampai saat ini nafkahnya dapat, tapi jodoh belum ada beritanya)

Dari mereka aku belajar saling tolong menolong, saling mengingatkan akan kebaikan, saling mendoakan, saling suport dan tentunya saling mendoakan. Ah iya, disini juga aku bertemu kawan lama seperjuangan kuliah dulu, bertemu adik tingkat yang sekarang sedang mengabdi di Aceh dan Sulawesi, bertemu adik-adik yang setiap melihat instastory mereka sukses bikin aku balik lagi ke Papua karena masih cakep aja pemandangannya.

Mereka juga mengajarkan aku bahwa meski usia tidak lagi muda, tapi cita-cita, mimpi yang ingin dicapai masih sangat mungkin jika kita berusaha, berdoa dan dapat lingkungan serta pertemanan yang mendukung. Dari mereka juga aku punya mimpi baru, punya tujuan baru juga.

Terima kasih kawan, sudah mewarnai awal tahunku dengan positive vibes dari kalian. See you when i see you. Tahun 2023 kita bertemu ya..

Kembali naik kereta seusai covid kembali merebak

Kali ini bukan buat berobat, tapi mengejar kesempatan.

Kesempatan utk mendapat pekerjaan lain,

Kesempatan pertama solo traveling berkedok cpns.

Kala itu benar2 sendiri di kota yang asing, Ungaran.

Menuju ungaran bermodal arahan naik bus trans jateng, itu saja tanpa tau harus turun dimana dan ditambah hujan angin.

Memilih hotel bermodal review traveloka yang ternyata lumayan horor buatku.

Pertama kali pula tidur di hotel sendiri.

Hari itu semua serba sendiri serba pertama,

Untuk seluruh orang asing yang mau membantu semoga Allah membalas kebaikan kalian.

Dan ternyata pergi sendirian tidak menakutkan itu.

Dengan pergi sendiri aku bisa lebih mengenal diriku.

Dan hari ini aku menginginkan perjalanan serupa.

A lot of people have commented on DD's outfit for the Loewe show, making note of the fact that it's so colorful and like a 🌈. In fact, this isn't the first time he's worn rainbow clothing for public appearances during Pride month.

Bojunyixiao’s Weibo night 2023/2024 🎉🎉

can you believe we’re here again. no matter how problematic sina weibo is as a platform, their awards night is a day cpfs look forward to because our boys will be attending. even if we know they won’t interact or anything, the fact that they get to attend the same event is enough for us.

i will just include the recap for the past years on here, the 2019/2020 being very short cause i feel like that has been widely speculated and talked about already. then 2021 and 2022. this post will discuss the event and stuff that happened + some commentary + cpn clownery. enjoy!!!!!

I. CPFs team building and showing strength

It would not be fair to exclude this feat that cpfs achieved with the free tickets for Weibo night. Even if we had no idea if both of them will attend, cpfs tried to grab tickets just in case it happens so we will be prepared. In the first round, we surprised all other fan groups with how we dominated and it set the rhythm for the next rounds. Trust cpfs to set the trend and make other fandoms “wake up”. lol. They can say what they want about cpfs but we all know that part of the hate is because they do not understand why we’re still here. They don’t get why we are this strong and a happy group.

My favorite thing that happened was when the top profile photos spelled out BJYXSZD + heart with a mole. It doesn’t stop there tho, the next week/round, we still dominated so Sina Weibo tried to save face by doing some tactics to suppress us. Nevertheless, every week, more of us got tickets because of the help of our little turtle fandom.

There were also efforts to get top comments on Weibo Night posts but I won’t get into that anymore cause we usually do that. But the thought of showing strength “online” as what the boys advertised is sweet.

Years later, we are still as strong as ever and shall remain that way. and that’s all thanks to each and every turtle out there who chooses positivity & makes sure our community remains a safe space.

II. The anticipation and announcements

It’s safe to say that this year, XZ is a sure attendee cause he always tops the voting at this event. However, some were still not sure cause he did not attend other public events last year like 10c starlight or NYE events cause he is busy with filming his projects. On 1/10 evening tho, a rather unsavory rumor made it on HS which was a signal that weibo night was getting desperate and wanted some noise for their event. lol. maybe there are other parties involved, but the intent is the same. I will also just mention the issue that happened on 1/9 with Chunzhen and them withdrawing lottery tickets supposedly won by certain fans. But the next day, Weibo lottery decided to honor the win and gave the tickets. I have no reaction to this tbh, and that’s why i didn’t talk about this separately and at length on my blog. It’s the brand / fandom that i have nothing to do with’s issue. As a turtle, we all know how CZ is with certain things so i’m not surprised that this happened. LOL.

I honestly feel for XZ, he is out there working hard and minding his own business but people and circumstances keep dragging him into irrelevant incidents.

As for WYB, everyone thought he wasn’t gonna attend. This is the same energy as last year. People are busier with grabbing tickets for his SDC6 finals and completely ignored weibo night ( as they should ). There was still some hope tho, cause if you think about it, he attended a lot of platform events. Tencent, IQIYI, GQ MOTY and 2 NYE shows. So why not Weibo Night? I have said it before, but one thing that I loved about WYB attending multiple events by the end of last year was it’s a show of his position and professionalism in the industry. He can go anywhere and be welcomed — he has good relations with almost everyone and that is important in their industry.

I know he is not fond of public events, but i’d like to think he says yes because of his professional relationship with these platforms/companies. I was never a fan of when people flex that their fave “will not go to xx because they did something to him etc.” LOL. That’s not how any industry works. You can’t burn bridges and I’m happy that WYB doesn’t do that. It’s also a testament of how much of a good boy he is 🤍

Anyway, back to the timeline. On 1/10, Weibo announced some winners and the boys are on there. I guess One & Only winning was a clue that WYB will go. Then a so/o account gave a tip that WYB will announce his attendance to an event on 1/11 @ 13:00. So by the evening of 1/10, it was mostly confirmed that WYB will be going.

The next day, 1/11, Weibo Night account started posting emoji clues for the remaining celebrities to be added in their guest lineup. A few hours later, both the boys announced their attendance. What’s different this time tho is aside from the usual copy-paste caption, there is a reminder for everyone to not do any fan activities at the venue. more details was also added in the comment. I guess they don’t want a repeat of what happened last year with the crowds. It caused a delay & cancellation of the red carpet. Both XZS and YBO reposted with more guidelines to follow like no gatherings and light signs etc.

The BJYX ST mods also sent out a message to not do any offline support.

There are more fandom drama after the announcement with other groups but i won’t add that here anymore cause it will only rot our brain. && it’s so much better to focus on the boys!

III. Pre show discussion

On the eve of Weibo Night, GG attended an awards show and it gave us some sweet candy. The most interesting to me is the choice of Alexander McQueen and the first two celebrities tagged by the brand on their weibo in 2024. This is giving me Dsquared vibes. Also how it almost mirrors the wedding-ish vibes they had last Weibo night. I know we as cpfs are somehow programmed to seeing connections but honestly, they don’t make it hard.

Late at night too, Weibo started showing opening screens of attendees and of course they didn’t put them in the same group/frame. This is understandable cause they wouldn’t put the top male celebrities together and knowing how both their fandoms hate each other. Also, how the grouping went, WYB’s was more of the “movie group”. That won’t stop me from being a bit better tho. lol. Cause if they can’t put them in the same frame like that, there is just no way they will be on the same stage or even sat remotely close to each other.

A photo from inside the venue also showed the projected commercial on stage is WYB & Chunzhen 😂😂😂😂😂

I can just imagine XZ smiling when he sees.

There were also talks of the both of them being on the second row. XZ was already seated way before the ceremony started, and their names are so close but cpfs were anticipating since WYB was not inside yet. We were all waiting to see if it will happen. WYB is supposedly next to YZ but then we see that Jackson sat there. We joked that he should stay there so WYB’s place will be taken and he will have no choice but to sit next to XZ 😂😂😂

IV. Red Carpet shenanigans

I honestly didn’t get the whole look tho when some people pointed out that it’s the glam version of what he wears when he plays golf — i kinda got it. For his past platform events like GQ, IQIYI & 10C, his red carpet were really casual. I guess that’s what he wants — to be comfortable walking the carpet. There were also some praising him for going against the norm. Well, I have to say tho that his face really stood out. Minimal to no make up look. He was so handsome! 🫶🏼

I love his outfit! It’s black but still got that something special to make him stand out. &&& I honestly love the hair! I thought I would cry because of how short it is now but it suits him. I mean, he looks gorgeous in anything but you know what I mean ☺️

CPN: XZ signed his name beside/very close to WYB. granted, there are so many signatures there but i’m wondering if he recognized his husband’s signature. lol. In this simple way, they can be next to each other!

VI. THE SUGAR RUSH 🍭🍬

• WYB’s personal post of him and the caption. The freakin caption. Look, i know that WYB’s brand is all about being the “cool guy” so maybe that’s why he said in the caption that he likes the HS about him. But the thing is, it’s totally out of character. How many events did he attend with him going so high up the HS with much more interesting tags but he chose this? Also, he really needed to do so that he used his own account??? For a couple of years now, yibo-official is the one that posts for him when he is at an event. So the speculation is this one is personal and amused him so much, seeing that their HS for the same event they are both at matched! Also, when WYB posted that, CPFs flooded the top comments! Understandably so. 💛

• The signed photos which i’m not sure about. I actually saw someone post that earlier and people were clowning about how it can’t be real.

But then, an account posted a giveaway with all the other attendees and it included the couple photo. I’m putting this down as clownery, cause on their end there will always be deniability. The autographed photo was also deleted by the account a bit later, which is actually expected cause it will bring trouble. lol.

• XZS and YBO matching again! Look at how they arranged the photos. How a few of the snaps are not in theme with the rest. Nothing new here!

• The same song and dance of them missing to see each other. As soon as XZ was gone, WYB came in to sit down. Good thing he had Jackson to talk too a bit and he was gone again after 10 mins! Hopefully they could spend time together backstage away from the cameras. 📷

People are pointing out that XZ was checking his phone lol. probably checking if WYB is giving him a signal to leave so they can do their usual operation. These two! Honestly!

• Not really CPN, but a similarity. In the red carpet, both of them didn��t do the “activities” that others were supposed to. If you watched the red carpet, there is a point where they have to choose something from a wall with numbers. there is also a choice to take a photo from one of the “themes” by they both bypassed it. I was rolling my eyes cause a WYB anti was trying to make a big deal out of it, but then XZ did the exact same thing. Some people just don’t understand how celebrities like them operate. Not to say that they are above everyone else, it’s just that they do things differently.

• ZSWW fake rumor account posted at 19:21. At this time the red carpet was already finished. It doesn’t say who is saying which line. I’m interpreting this incident to be something that happened today backstage 🤡🤡🤡

• There is a photo/video of XZ talking to Huang Bo! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! and now we’re thinking about how they haven’t cooperated with each other but seem familiar. Yes, we don’t know all their relationship and friends off camera but my mind immediately went to the SDC 3 clowning. That’s most likely when they became close. lol.

• Heaven’s choice cause WYB was sat at #23 ( Love Zhan )

• This time, both of them left the venue after they received their awards. XZ didn’t stay like he did the previous years. Good for them! It’s better to spend time together 🤍 I know that most of us expected what happened today, them not being in the same place at the same time. Tho some may see that in a negative way, I actually see this as an example of trying to keep their private life separate from the public. Tho a big part of their lives are on camera and that’s how they met. I think what they are doing is really to reserve the time they have & are seen together in private. Maybe some can’t see it that way and will be frustrated but at the end of the day, we have to respect their choice.

Sambatan Rabu, 21 Agustus 2024: Ya Allah, Kami Cinta Negeri Ini, tapi Kok Begini~

Hari ini, rasanya campur aduk. Pas kilas balik, evaluasi apa aja yang udah dilalui hari ini, ternyata paginya baru baca kabar pasien hemodialisis yang meninggal di grup. Tiap ada kabar seperti ini di grup, memang rasa patah hatinya nyampe banget💔. Sadar bahwa kematian adalah pengingat terbaik, dan kita pun kelak akan sampai ke sana. Kita adalah milik-Nya, dan kepada-Nyalah kita kembali. Pejuang, tunai sudah janji bakti. Teriring doa agar diberikan ampunan dan tempat terbaik di alam berikutnya. Namun, tetap, rasa sedih itu valid. Alhamdulillahnya sudah lebih belajar tentang validasi dan regulasi emosi. Grupnya berisi para tenaga kesehatan, pelaku rawat (caregiver) dan pasien hemodialisis RST dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang.

Terus, dikirimin video tujuh belasan di Unit Hemodialisis RST juga. Jadi refleksi perjalanan hingga hari ini, wasilah kenapa sekarang di sini. Ini sukses bikin nangis, sih. Namun, akhirnya senyum juga, meskipun diiringi air mata. Para pejuang di ruangan bergorden lila. Teringat bahwa Apa sudah bergabung dengan klub ini sejak 2021. Teringat juga, banyak hal yang dipelajari, disaksikan dan dihadapi di ruangan ini. Mulai dari latihan soal SKD SKB CPNS yang tentu saja tidak fokus itu, kelas-kelas di zoom, baca buku, dengerin murattal biar tenang, melamun membiarkan pikiran melanglang buana, berusaha tidur, dan seterusnya agar aroma disinfektan dan laju darah di mesin dialisis tidak terlalu mengganggu, juga pengusir bosan berjam-jam menunggu. Juga berusaha sekuat tenaga agar tak keluar air mata, memalingkan muka saat melihat ada pasien yang berpulang di ruangan ini. Para pejuang. Yang menjadi penguat dan pengingat bahwa hidup ini adalah perjuangan. Bukan semata soal apa yang kita suka dan tidak, tetapi berjuang untuk rida-Nya, dengan jalur perjuangan masing-masing.

Daaan jeng jeeeeng berita soal negeri ini yang aduhai lucu bin jenaka sekali. Hingga postingan "Peringatan Darurat" berseliweran di media sosial. Rasanya kayak hidup di relasi toksik. Kita cinta negeri ini dengan segala toksinnya. Namun, ingat lagi nasihat para guru. Anggaplah kita sebagai rakyat jelata merasa terzalimi. Orang beriman akan berusaha berpikir di luar kotak. Menjadikan setiap keadaan sebagai pelajaran. Ini bisa jadi privilese. Bukankah doa orang yang terzalimi itu mustajab? Saatnya melangitkan doa-doa untuk kebaikan kita, kebaikan negeri ini. Bukankah doa yang baik akan berbalas "Kamu pun demikian"? Sembari kita berusaha memantaskan diri, karena, jangan-jangan, ada juga andil kita di dalamnya.
