please share more abt the fankids I think they’re so cool !!!
aaa thank you! a quick summary of their concept (spoilers for the HSS propogation quests and Penacony storyline!):
Ruan Mei pushing against the boundaries of genetic engineering again, practicing her work at DNA replication and gene synthesis before perfecting it fully to continue her project with Tazzyronth. She teams with one Dr. Veritas Ratio in workshopping a method of short-term life forms that would age rapidly, to study the process of decay and growth in order to tweak it in later tests down the line.
The life forms in question? intelligent organisms born from meshing genetic sequences from material donated (or subtly stolen in some way). The test subjects are cultivated, given a strict curriculum, an extensive wealth of online and archived knowledge to learn from and test their talents. TLDR: we made fankid love children from characters in HSR.
——————————————————————-
CAVAE RATIO: (Ratio // Aventurine)
[imaginary Remembrance 💠💠💠💠]
- take Aventurine’s knack for convoluted machinations and Ratio’s intense drive towards a singular goal: Goldberg Slot Machine!
- A workaholic mechanic with a talent for both the hardware and software of their projects, dabbles in abstract inventions
- Don’t tell them about transhumanism there will be no going back
GAIUS RATIO: ( Ratio // Ruan Mei )
[fire Erudition 💠💠💠💠💠]
- This kid’s defining, persistent curiosity stems from both parents. Combine it with Ruan Mei’s connections to the organic, with Ratio’s more clinical perspectives of logic into a physical sense: faux flora, paper flowers, and a wistful wanderlust
- They want to see the world outside their ivory tower of academia, and to learn first hand about the universe itself. Excitedly dogs the poor scientists handling everyone’s monitored exams to reply to Gaius’ questions for once- “A test! Answer me!”
- The Little Prince in a tower, having read all the books they own ten times over
- Gaius and Cavae are technically siblings, sharing Dr. Ratio as a donor! they treat each other as such and use nicknames for one another (GaiGai and CaeCae respectively)
“APOLLYON”: ( Dan Feng // Yingxing )
[wind Hunt 💠💠💠💠💠]
- Current design is on the left. prototype concept on the right!
- Not much information is disclosed about this subject’s donors. Nothing Ruan Mei could properly obtain from the Xianshou Ten-Lords Commission, at least. Perhaps Apollyon’s dogged determination to both learn everything about their ‘parents’, as well as defy whatever assumptions are made about themselves, are traits passed down altogether
- Very big fan of the legal system. The orderly process of a court trial is appealing to them. They’ve also thrown themselves into the law to subvert Dan Feng and Yingxing/Blade’s history of criminal notoriety
- Technically the oldest, but not the *eldest*. Because of their Vidyahara genetics, he still has a baby face (gets teased for it). The subjects all still age faster than normal though
“BELPHAGOR”: (J▪️n▪️ ▪️▪️an // ▪️▪️▪️▪️ ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️)
[electric Abundance 💠💠💠💠]
- If Apollyon’s donor information is hard to uncover, then Belphagor’s is buried under centuries of incryption, perhaps never even being added to the databank in the first place. Or— out of the spirit of secrecy disguised as easy transparency— the info was scrubbed some time after being inputted
- Calm, collected, with connections throughout the Herta Space Station and beyond. Belphie even has routine ‘storyboarding’ sessions with Madame Herta and her Genius coworkers. Their secret contributions to the flavor text of the Simulated Universe help weave the story into a cohesive narrative, tricks the AI into believing the fabrication more easily
- Also has game nights with a slippery hacker online. They trade the #1 spot for the universal high score of Puyo Puyo Tetris III Deluxe Online (sponsored by the IPC’s entertainment branch)
“MATEO” : ( Boothill // Argenti )
[physical Destruction 💠💠💠💠💠]
- Mateo has a fair amount of information about his donors. No matter how many files he can access to read about them, though, he still craves a true connection. He doesn’t just want donors— he wants parents. Maybe that Curio he swiped from Herta’s collection could be his ticket off the station?
- Headstrong, steadfast, impatient, and honest. Desperately wants to prove himself through acts of valor and impulse snap decisions to help others. His heart’s in the right place
- the Curio he swiped? turns into a biplane. when not in flight mode? turns into a JETPACKKKKKKK YEAAHH BABY
MISC. INFO: ( Bullshit // Braindump)
- Mateo and Gaius first met each other while Mateo was testing his Curio’s jetpack function outside the HSS. Gaius saw him through the window, enthusiastically wrote notes on big slats of paper to communicate, and they were stuck by the hip ever since
- Cavae has a habit of self-isolation and social withdrawal when having emotional struggles. They drown themselves in their inventions without any time to bond with the others. The other kids have tried to reach through to them, Gaius and Apollyon especially, but the only progress made is when Cavae does it themselves
- Apollyon loves to put on mock trials. Belphagor and Gaius, the most skilled writers in the group, often create theater performances or fake court trials for Apollyon to play the Prosecutor for. Cavae contributed the props and stage tech, with Gaius and Mateo playing as secondary roles. Mateo often gets put as the Judge so he can have a fake beard (but he puts on the best show as the convict)
- Gaius is skilled at origami
- Belphagor is on the most amicable terms with Ruan Mei. Mostly because, out of all the subjects, they’re the one most willing to *accept* being a test subject. Thus they hold no hard feelings towards Ruan Mei about the experiment they’re born from
- Ratio has a check-up scheduled to interview his subjects coming up. The reminder got sent in the mail, though a particularly nosy merchant may have rummaged through his deliveries while the good Doc was running a bath.

Have you ever thought about making writing your new '9-5' job? Or is it just a passionate hobby for you?
AKIISAME I LOVE U SO MUCH THANKS FOR SENDING ME THIS FUN QUESTION, I'M SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO RESPOND!!!
Okay, first of all, I'm truly honored you think I could be a full time writer! I told my bff & coworker Emily, who is a professional copywriter, that you sent me this message and she basically told me to never become a full time writer because it sucks all the passion out of writing 😂
That being said, her job as a copywriter is a lot different than the job of like, a novelist or something, and I think writing books could be really fun! I know some fanfics get turned into novels, and that is a very exciting prospect for me, but I'm not sure how I would actually feel about that when it came down to it, or if it something I would want to do.
This year, one of my goals is to write a novel-length fanfic inspired by this idea.
I mostly write in second person, which is apparently not a very marketable perspective for books. One of my greatest joys about what I do here is that I am able to create a story that you all can fully immerse yourselves in and have a deeper connection to. The only reason I started writing in the first place is because I had such an overwhelming love for Malleus and Leona, I needed a medium to express that love through. If I were to actually write a novel length fanfiction that was successful enough to get picked up as a book, I'd have to change so many details to avoid copyright, and I'd have to choose an actual descriptive MC... If it came down to it, I don't know if I would turn down such an offer, but I would certainly have to think through all the pros and cons. The main goal of making profit off of this would be so that I could continue to write fics and pursue other artistic endeavors that would bring me endless joy and fulfillment in my life. Regretfully, I don't have any other book ideas besides things that are inspired by TWST, since MalleLeo occupy too much space in my brain to make room for OCs or other arcs.
Unfortunately, I feel like writing is a lot less profitable than art. I wish I could sell my fanfics in cute lil hardcover books in a similar vein to how artists sell keychains of their faves, but I don't even know if thats something people would want. It would be uncharted territory and D*sney would probably try to take me out.
Another concern is AI and the uncertainty of what the art industry is even going to look like in the next few years... I am lucky that AI writing is not currently very good, but who knows how that is going to change. Before I became a writer and started writing fics, I used to be a lot more concerned for my friend Emily's writing career. However, now that I truly understand what it means to write, I feel a bit more secure against the AI. Line by line, every word I choose to speak, every concept I choose to employ, every direction I send the story in is meticulously crafted... an Erica Original™️. The computers can steal my writing style, but they can't steal my thoughts and my brain... at least not yet (knock on wood). I mean, with writing, there are only so many combinations of words and phrases that you can use. What matters is now is how I, a human, choose to use them. Right now, AI just does what is predictable. I could have a tender moment happening one second, and choose to send Malleus flying off a cliff the next second—and I'd still create a cohesive story that kept y'all on the edges of your seat.
Last but not least, I am a Software Engineer, and I also have a mortgage... the mortgage makes it harder for me to take financial risks, and I would need to make close to how much I'm currently making in my job to feel comfy switching careers... 😅
#if anyone is considering going into the computer science field#feel free to ask me questions or come to me if you need advice#im always happy to help others on this career path#‧͙+ ̊*・༓☾ Erica Answers ☽༓・* ̊+‧͙

Yet More Forbidden Activities at Site (REDACTED)
By order of the Administrator and O5 Counsel, the following activities are added to the Forbidden List. Any attempt at any activities on this list will be met with the harshest discipline. Consider yourselves warned, especially you, Dr. Bright.
Not allowed to recreate any weapon from the Dead Space series. No, not even to fight victims of the Clockwork Virus. Save it for the Ishimura, kids.
No using time travel to win bets. That's violating the Temporal Prime Directive, and 05-5 is still mad about last year's Tour de France.
No recreating anything from Doom. No, not even Doomguy to attempt termination of 682.
No one is to challenge 076-2 to Mortal Kombat. There are less... messy ways of committing suicide.
Whomever gave Dr. Bright the comic books... the Red Right Hand is coming.
Leave the video game weapons where they belong: in the games. Yes, even the exploding chickens, Dr. Clef. Although the Chaos Insurgency was not expecting that... all the damage to Site Facilities isn't worth it.
No more roller derby. Dr. Meeter broke her leg, her nose, the wall, half the opposing team, and the coach's arm. Before the match began.
If it involves any combination of chainsaws and explosives... NO.
No frying turkeys on site. Don't ask why.
No one is giving tours here. No one should be selling tickets for these tours, let alone offering a date with an anomaly as a raffle prize. Knock. It. Off!
There never was a Dr. Wesker, we have no ties to the Umbrella Corporation as they are FICTIONAL, we do not have any variant of the T, G, C, or Urobouros viruses, nor the antivirals for such things. We do not have the Harran Virus, there is no Antizen, and no such person as Agent Kyle Crane. We do have an Agent Crane, but anyone calling her 'Kyle' is likely to get nut punched.
We have our own Occult Sciences division, there is rarely a need to 'hire out'. So... whomever allowed John Constantine on site... run. You really shouldn't have done that.
Stealing your coworkers' coffee is a low, dirty trick. We hope your mother is proud of you.
No more abstract art in public areas. 073 spent an hour trying to figure out how a clock could melt but tell time.
Full clothing is required for both anomalies and staff during interviews and experiments. Even if we need to sew certain individuals into their trousers.
No. More. Real. Life. Duck. Hunt! Unless the ducks being hunted are Chaos Insurgency. Then... shotgun.
No more Calvinball. Dr. Clef gets too... competitive.
294 is for normal consumable liquids only. Anyone requesting anything else will suffer consequences. Remember the "Cup of Abel" incident? He was... not amused. Nor are we.
Stun batons are for combat and training only. No, not THAT type of training. I swear, some of you are impossible.
No one is to lead ANYONE on a leash. Save the weird-as-hell stuff for alone time.
Do not argue with O5. Just don't.
During raids, if it looks suspicious, shoot first, apologize later. Check every cardboard box, every nook and cranny. The Insurgency hired a bunch of rogue yoga instructors and contortionist for "better ambushing". Check everything. And if in doubt, EMP first, shoot second, apologize later if needed. Light bending camo is a thing, and ours won't be affected by the EMP.
Cover. Your. Faces. Facial recognition software exists. Can't be part of a super secret world saving organization if everybody knows it's just Dave from the pub. Also, if you must have a significant other on the outside, burner phones.
Yeah, whomever gave Dr. Clef his own 'Lucille', O5 is sending someone to go Neggan on your head. Clef is dangerous enough.
Guns are ranged weapons. Clubs, batons, knives, and hammers are melee weapons. Anyone confusing the two will be shown the difference. With live ammunition. By our best marksman, Agent Strelnikof. If they survive, it's on to melee weapons training with 076-2. Again, assuming survival, final exam is a brief interlude with 682. Guns for far off, baton, blade, or hammer up close. It's not neurosurgery.

Business Networking Across Industries: Breaking Silos in Perth’s Business Community
In an interconnected world, the ability to collaborate across industries has become a crucial driver of innovation and growth. Perth’s business landscape, known for its diversity and entrepreneurial spirit, stands to benefit significantly from breaking down silos and fostering cross-industry business networking. By creating spaces for professionals from varied sectors to connect, share insights, and collaborate, business networking in Perth is evolving into a powerhouse of innovation and opportunity.
The Importance of Cross-Industry Networking
Cross-industry business networking events in Perth allows businesses to move beyond the limitations of their own sectors. When professionals from different industries connect, they bring fresh perspectives, unique problem-solving approaches, and opportunities for synergy. For instance, a collaboration between Perth’s technology startups and its well-established mining sector can lead to groundbreaking advancements in automation and sustainability. Similarly, creative industries working with finance professionals can develop innovative marketing strategies tailored to local markets.
Breaking silos encourages a cross-pollination of ideas, where lessons learned in one industry can inspire solutions in another. This kind of collaboration is particularly relevant in Perth, where the economy thrives on a mix of traditional industries like mining and agriculture, alongside emerging sectors like renewable energy and digital technology.
How Cross-Industry Networking Drives Innovation
1. Fresh Perspectives on ChallengesWhen professionals from different industries engage in discussions, they bring unique ways of thinking. For example, a healthcare professional attending a business networking Perth event may inspire a logistics company to adopt patient-centric operational models, improving customer experience.
2. Accelerating Problem-SolvingPooling knowledge from various industries can accelerate solutions to shared challenges. Perth’s focus on sustainability could benefit from cross-industry collaboration, where experts in waste management, engineering, and policy-making unite to create more sustainable urban development solutions.
3. Unlocking New Market OpportunitiesNetworking across industries often reveals untapped markets. A software company engaging with the hospitality sector might discover ways to optimise bookings, enhance customer experiences, or streamline back-end processes, opening new avenues for growth.
Perth: A Hub for Collaborative Opportunities
Perth’s business community is uniquely positioned to leverage cross-industry networking due to its geographic location and strong ties between its key industries. As a gateway to international markets, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, Perth attracts businesses that value collaboration. Business networking in Perth events and organisations such as chambers of commerce, professional associations, and coworking spaces provide ideal platforms for such engagement.
The city’s shift towards digital transformation further enhances its networking capabilities. Virtual events and hybrid platforms now enable professionals to connect with peers from different industries, even when physical events are challenging.
Practical Steps for Cross-Industry Networking in Perth
1. Attend Diverse Networking EventsBroaden your reach by attending events outside your core industry. Perth’s many business expos, meetups, and industry conferences are excellent opportunities to connect with professionals in various fields.
2. Join Cross-Industry GroupsSeveral groups in Perth focus on fostering collaboration between industries. Organisations like Superior Business Networks and Innovate Perth regularly host events aimed at connecting professionals from diverse sectors.
3. Share Knowledge Through WorkshopsHosting or participating in cross-industry workshops helps establish your expertise while gaining insights from other industries. For example, a marketing firm could run a branding workshop for tech startups, fostering collaboration while generating leads.

The Future of Business Networking in Perth

Events tailored to breaking silos and encouraging collaboration across industries are on the rise. Such initiatives not only strengthen individual businesses but also contribute to Perth’s global competitiveness.

How Conference Room Signage Improves Office Productivity and Organization
In today’s dynamic workplaces, maintaining seamless communication and productivity is essential. One often-overlooked but highly impactful tool in achieving this is conference room signage. Whether you're managing a bustling corporate office or a coworking space, the right signage can make a big difference. Here's how conference room signage helps optimize your office environment.
1. Enhancing Scheduling Efficiency
One of the primary benefits of conference room signage is its ability to keep schedules transparent and accessible. Digital signage solutions, in particular, can integrate with scheduling software like Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, displaying room availability in real-time. This eliminates confusion, reduces double bookings, and saves employees the frustration of hunting for an open space.
2. Supporting Office Wayfinding
In large offices or multi-floor setups, finding the right conference room can be a challenge for employees, visitors, or clients. Clearly labeled conference room signage helps streamline navigation, ensuring everyone arrives on time. Effective wayfinding signage reduces stress and enhances the overall visitor experience.
3. Promoting Hybrid Work Collaboration
As hybrid work becomes the norm, digital signage is evolving to meet new demands. Interactive conference room signage allows employees to see whether a room is set up for virtual collaboration, such as video conferencing. This functionality ensures that meeting spaces are properly equipped and ready to accommodate remote participants seamlessly.
4. Branding and Professionalism
Custom conference room signage also serves as a subtle branding opportunity. From sleek, modern designs that align with your company’s aesthetic to creative naming conventions for rooms (e.g., naming rooms after famous innovators or places), signage can reflect your company culture while impressing visitors and clients.
5. Encouraging Accountability
Digital conference room signage with check-in and check-out options can track room usage effectively. If someone books a space but doesn’t show up, the system can release the room for others. This fosters accountability and ensures your meeting spaces are used efficiently.
6. Reducing Clutter with Paperless Solutions
Gone are the days of taping printed schedules to doors. Modern digital signage provides a clean and eco-friendly alternative. Not only does it look more professional, but it also allows for updates to be made instantly, keeping everyone on the same page without the waste of printed materials.
Choosing the Right Conference Room Signage
When implementing conference room signage, consider factors such as:
Integration: Ensure compatibility with your office scheduling tools.
User Experience: Choose systems that are intuitive and easy for everyone to use.
Design: Opt for signage that complements your office decor and branding.
Conclusion
Investing in effective conference room signage enhances productivity, simplifies scheduling, and projects a professional image. Whether through digital displays or clear static signs, this simple yet powerful tool can transform how your workplace functions. Start exploring conference room signage solutions today to create a more organized and efficient office environment!

Evolution of Coworking Spaces: A Glimpse into 2024 and Beyond
The world of work is rapidly evolving, and coworking spaces are at the forefront of this transformation. As we look ahead to 2024 and beyond, it's essential to understand the trends that will shape the future of coworking. In this article, we will explore the exciting developments in the coworking industry and how they will impact the way we work, collaborate, and thrive professionally.
The Growing Demand for Low-Cost Coworking Spaces
In recent years, the coworking sector has experienced remarkable growth, with flexible workspaces accounting for a significant portion of the commercial real estate market. This trend is expected to continue, with some experts predicting that by 2030, coworking spaces could make up as much as 30% of the market. This growth presents a significant opportunity for coworking owners and operators, but it also means increased competition. To stand out in a crowded market, offering low-cost coworking spaces can be a game-changer.
Meeting the Needs of Remote Workers
While coworking spaces have traditionally attracted entrepreneurs, freelancers, and digital nomads, there has been a shift in the demographic of coworking members. Remote workers and remote teams are now a primary audience for coworking spaces. These individuals, often referred to as "refugee corporate employees," are seeking flexible work environments that provide them with the structure and community they crave. To cater to this growing audience, coworking spaces need to offer amenities and services that support remote work, such as dedicated private spaces for video conferences and partnerships with remote organizations.
Creating a Thriving Community
Community has always been a cornerstone of coworking spaces, but in 2024, it will be more important than ever. With workplace loneliness on the rise, coworking spaces have a unique opportunity to address this issue by providing an engaged and supportive community for their members. Creating intentional community-building initiatives, hosting virtual meetings, curated events, and fostering natural connections throughout the day are all essential elements of a thriving coworking community.
Elevating the Experience: Hospitality Takes Center Stage
In the competitive coworking landscape, hospitality and creating an exceptional member experience are paramount. Coworking operators need to adopt a hospitality mindset and run their spaces like hotels, prioritizing the small details that make a difference. From effortless onboarding to outstanding customer service, every touchpoint should be carefully crafted to provide a delightful and memorable experience for members. Paying attention to the details, such as furniture design and the quality of amenities, can elevate the overall coworking experience and set a space apart from the competition.
Harnessing the Power of Technology
Technology plays a crucial role in the success of coworking spaces. While many operators have embraced coworking software and keyless access control systems, there is still room for innovation and optimization. Integrated suites of tools, automation of day-to-day operations, mobile-first solutions, and personalized experiences are all areas where technology can enhance the coworking experience. As the coworking industry continues to evolve, staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology will be crucial for success.
The Rise of Autonomous Coworking Spaces
As technology advances, some coworking operators are exploring the idea of fully autonomous coworking spaces. These spaces operate without any staff on-site, relying on access control systems, online bookings, and mobile apps for member management. The concept of autonomous coworking spaces offers operators greater flexibility and can contribute to the overall profitability of the space. While this trend is still in its early stages, we can expect to see more experimentation and innovation in this area in the coming years.
Niche Coworking Spaces: Catering to Specific Demographics
Niche coworking spaces have been gaining popularity as the coworking sector matures. These spaces are designed to cater to specific demographics, such as artists, musicians, doctors, or owners of physical goods businesses. By focusing on shared interests and needs, niche coworking spaces can foster stronger communities and attract an engaged audience. To succeed with a niche coworking space, it's important to thoroughly research the target demographic and understand their unique requirements before launching the space.
Shifting Product Offerings
The product offerings in coworking spaces are also evolving. While open seating areas and hot desks have been the norm, there is a growing demand for private and shared offices. Remote workers, in particular, seek dedicated spaces where they can focus and collaborate effectively. Additionally, other offerings such as phone booths, event spaces, and alternative-use areas like yoga rooms or podcast studios are gaining popularity. The right mix of flexible and private spaces will depend on the specific market and the needs of the target audience.
The Suburban and Small Town Coworking Boom
One of the most significant trends in the coworking industry is the rise of coworking spaces in suburban, small-town, and rural areas. With the increase in remote work and the desire for more affordable living, many individuals are choosing to move away from major cities. Coworking spaces are following this migration trend, providing professionals with a sense of community and a quiet office space close to home. Despite some challenges, such as lower profitability and the need for education around coworking benefits, these spaces are becoming hubs of productivity and connection in non-urban areas.
Sustainability and Wellness: Prioritizing People and the Planet
In 2024 and beyond, coworking spaces are embracing sustainability and wellness as core principles. With a focus on creating nurturing environments for professionals, coworking spaces are incorporating features like air cleaners, hand sanitizers, meditation rooms, and subsidized gym memberships. Sustainable design elements, such as renewable energy and zero-waste programs, are also becoming more prevalent. By prioritizing the well-being of their members and the planet, coworking spaces are fostering vibrant communities where people can thrive physically and mentally.
The Future of Coworking: Embracing Change and Adapting
As we look to the future of coworking in 2024 and beyond, it's clear that the industry will continue to evolve and adapt. The trends discussed in this article provide a glimpse into what we can expect, but it's essential to embrace change and remain agile. Coworking spaces that can differentiate themselves, create exceptional member experiences, foster strong communities, and leverage technology will be well-positioned for success in the dynamic landscape of the coworking industry.
Conclusion
The coworking industry is poised for significant growth and transformation in the coming years. By understanding and embracing the trends outlined in this article, coworking owners and operators can position themselves for success in 2024 and beyond. From offering low-cost spaces and catering to remote workers to creating thriving communities and embracing technology, there are numerous opportunities to innovate and differentiate within the coworking landscape. By staying agile, prioritizing member experiences, and adapting to the changing needs of professionals, coworking spaces can thrive in the evolving world of work.

Hardware
Some of my favorite nights have been spent falling asleep by the television surrounded by my blankets and pillows. Often times I find myself ruminating so so much, about anything and everything. I’ll gladly explore any topic, read any book, listen to any song and chat with any person. The thing is (it’s funny I write this while eating a tortilla) I feel very much disconnected from everything and everyone, but please don’t be scared. I don’t feel disconnected in a depressed woe is me, we live in a society sorta thing. It’s more so in a, I feel as if I’m a little robot that was dropped into the world and it’s programming limits it from ever fully connecting with any one thing or person, and rather said robot just goes around absorbing as much information as it can to ultimately feed the data base which will create a little robot capable of connecting both at an emotional and logical manner.
In other words this logical mind of mine leaves me feeling more like computer hardware and the people I meet along the way are the software that gets put into my mind. Hardware cannot run on its own it needs software in order to truly be operational. The thing is it’s so hard to update hardware, once it’s out in the world unless one goes out of their way to improve it, more often than not it stays the same eventually becoming obsolete. Software is the thing that’s usually able to better be updated and changed. However not all hope is lost for hardware, if you’re into dark wave music I’m sure you’ve noticed the re emergence of the synth sound in many songs. Some sounds are unable to be recreated by even the most advanced software, all this to say sometimes hardware becomes obsolete in the hands of the wrong person but paired with the right software it can come back from the dead and live once again.
Ok, ok metaphors aside I hope that last bit wasn’t too hard to follow (I write and speak in metaphors in case this hasn’t become evident by now). Sometimes it is nice being able to approach things in a logical manner, it helps not being overwhelmed by human emotions all the times. However sometimes it can be limiting and leaves me wanting to be able to go deeper. One time a coworker of mine had her car vandalized and they came to me for support. Only to be met with uncomfortable uncontrollable laughter, it’s not that I felt no sympathy towards them. I just did not know how to provide comfort in a time of need. That which comes to others easy may take a lifetime for others to achieve. Everyone is different at a fundamental level, which is ok, if everyone was the same that would be so boring.
Pew pew pew (laser crocodile sounds intensify). Often times I practice living and letting live, a sort of passive approach to life if you will. I’ve learned that most things don’t require a reaction out of me. Just absorbing the moment is more than enough. Plus sometimes even as chatty as I can be, I simply don’t have a response to certain things or situations. Trying to fill in the blanks with dead space is honestly exhausting, it’s like trying to paint a canvas on every building on every block by yourself. In theory yes it can be done however it’s just not a practical and it takes all of your mental capacities. Point being, that it pays off to just sit in silence and nod your head to that which is unable to be answered.
If I ever came to a fork in the road I think I’d pick it up and use it to eat my salad. By the way my favorite salad typically has bacon and blue cheese in it sprinkled with some cranberries and almonds. As much as I love salad I must admit I usually find myself reaching for my phone afterwards to find the nearest restaurant near me. It just never fills me up and I’m not a fan of drowning my salad in sauce, at that point I’d simply drink a bottle of ranch in the food isle of the grocery store. Who am I kidding though I’ll still keep eating my lil salads it’s the thing to do. I love feeling fancy schmancy hehe call it being Venusian on a budget.
