Kaito, a new independent pro hero named ‘Glacial Gale’ was asked to be part of a presentation about heroes at the elementary school Fuyumi worked in.

He was a nervous wreck but hid it well with his cool demeanour, he really wasn’t cut out for public speaking, let alone in front of children to hopefully inspire them to be heroes one day just like him. But he knew he had his work would lead him to more public appearances, so this was another step towards getting used to the spotlight.

In his nervousness, he somehow got lost despite having a map. So he approached the first staff member he could see, she seemed nice enough. “Excuse me, I am here for the Hero Presentation. Can you direct me to the school’s assembly hall?” he asked.

"I see, perhaps I should go see what I can do to speed up the process," Kaito replied, it wasn't ideal for Fuyumi and the children under her care to wait too long like this.

"Yeah, of course," he spoke with a nod, taking her business card with her phone number. He was oblivious to Fuyumi's intentions, and figured it was something work-related,

"I'll be going then, please take care," he added with a bow before transforming into his hero costume to take it to the air, flying over to help with the crash Fuyumi mentioned.

"Bye Mister Spinning Wings!" One of the kids yelled with a wave as Kaito flew off, looks like he might have a fan already.

She was pleasantly surprised that he had an ice quirk. Her interest in him grew.

“Yes.” Fuyumi answered him. “It’s delayed due to a crash down the road.”

He seemed genuinely nice. The woman smiled a little.

“Hey. Could you text me later? My cell phone number is on my business card.” Todoroki took one out of her purse and extended it toward him. It would be inappropriate to flirt in front of her students.

“Yeah, I’d like that,” Kaito replied to Fuyumi with a smile before they parted ways. Figuring he was in front of children, Kaito couldn’t really be too proper to not give an impression on them. Not to mention that Fuyumi would be watching, and while she did help calm his nerves, that kind of cancelled things out with her in the audience.

He understood kids enjoyed things that were cool and flashy, so he made his entrance and stance a little more dramatic and posy than he initially planned, to get more attention and appeal that way.

“I am the Blizzard Hero, Glacier Gale! My powers come from my wind and ice quirks!” Kaito introduced himself as he got to the stage, demonstrating spiralling whisps of wind with one hand, and cooler icy breezes with the other, creating snow flakes from his hand to wow the audience.

Kaito made a creatively visual display of his quirks, like a snow performance, and later clasped his hands together to make an icy explosion that covered him in fog, taking his chance to activate his hero costume that put him in an armoured hero suit.

“This is my hero costume, it helps me fly, with my ice wings!” Kaito explained, before leaning forward so dragon like ice wings would sprout from his shoulders. Then he launched himself into the air and did a quick loop around the assembly hall, before landing in a hero pose to finish.

“Thank you for your time!”

After talking to the staff at where he did his presentation, he noticed the woman who helped him out before, she was with a group of kids, he assumed to be her class.

“It’s good to see you again, is your bus late?” Kaito asked Fuyumi since she was waiting at the bus stop. Kaito actually flew with his ice wings under the guise of hero work just to cut down on transport time.

“Ooh! It’s Mister Spinny Ice Wings!” One of the kids pointed at Kaito excitedly, then asked him unsurely, looking at his one bat-like wing. “Can I be a hero like you, even if I only have one wing?”

“Yeah, someone could even make you a second wing, so listen to your teacher and work hard, and I’m sure you’ll get there one day,” Kaito replied, giving them a pat on the head in reassurance. If he did bump into the kid in the future, he’d personally help him out himself.

She giggled a little at his joke. The teacher occasionally did ice puns herself.

“Maybe I’ll see you after?” Fuyumi bowed then went to her seat by her elementary school class.

Bus running late, she stood outside with her kids, awaiting for their ride back to their own school if he wanted to approach her.

"Yes," Kaito replied. While he understood how children could be innocently unfiltered, he also trusted this staff member, she wouldn't be stretching the truth too much even if it was to reassure him.

"My hero name is Glacier Gale. You'd think with a name like that, I'd be more cool about it haha," he answered Fuyumi, now trying to mask his nervousness with a punny joke. Kaito appreciated being taken to his seat, that would be one less thing to worry about, and then he could go over his speech a few more times in his head. "Thank you for your help., I believe I'll be alright now."

“Yeah. Oh course.” This man certainly looked nervous, “Are you one of the heroes making a speech today? You don’t have to be so worried. The kids aren’t that bad. What’s your hero name so I can take you to your seat in the assembly hall?”
