I imagined a scene today for Apollo and Nahyuta post-SoJ:

It's night, after another long trial in the Khura'in Hall of Justice.

Nahyuta arrives at the Justice Law Office to check up on Apollo, who's fallen asleep at the desk.

He looks at him sleeping and merely shakes his head.

"...Oh, Apollo, what am I going to do with you?"

Nahyuta gently nudges him awake and helps him get to his bedroom (which is a back room in the law office.)

And then they talk for a bit about the past and present, and Apollo starts to drift off again. But not before he tells Nahyuta to get back to the palace and get some rest himself.

Nahyuta quietly agrees, saying "good night" before stepping out.

These two have a long road to reconnect, but this is a start.

The Case of the Lame Canary, season 2 episode 30, last scene....

Hamilton Burger and Lt Tragg join everyone in Perry's office after the trial..

They ask Perry how he knew what he knew, and he says that a little bird told him...

As they all look down at the beautiful canary in the cage, Hamilton says, " A little bird, huh? That's the first time I've heard of a lame canary being a stool pigeon". They all find that very amusing, and so did I!!

the way she says "i dont know what to do" as if its self explanatory and the most obvious thing ever completely goes against the kids view of her as someone who always know what to do and always has a solution

this keeps itching at my brain because Its so reflective of how she always feel scared and grasping for solutions and uncertain of what to do on the inside but the kids dont know that cause she doesnt show it

and in the court scene they get a glimpse of that and its like oh! that whole heartbreaking story is like ..oh! she was only 6! there was a time when big sister Fiona didnt know what to do!! but she had to figure it out anyway! she wasnt just magically always like this...she got here for a reason

oh my god. wait. modern au wei wuxian where he went to prison, and when he gets out he works his ass off to become a defense attorney. he's smart as hell and loves finding loop holes and calling people out when they're breaking their own rules. he'd be a fucking menace in the courtroom.
