💗💓 Ava’s infatuation with Janine is adorable! Or maybe it’s in the puppy love stages. It’s cute tho and I’m here for it!

And she’s obviously been hanging with Janine more than we’ve been privy to in the episodes because she knows that she and her sister have different dads. Flash backward: Ava not only met Janine’s sister but her mom too — she’s the only coworker that has (this is the early stages of them courting).

I like how tender Ava was in this episode with Janine (even tho she’s the cause and spread this nonsense and had my poor baby Janine spiraling with her paternity questions. but she actually gave a “sorry, Janine” post her reading the results. see she really is sweet for her). Being the caring voice to let Janine know she isn’t alone when it comes to the paternal part of her life. In my Avanine illusions/delusions of grandeur, I know after the drag brunch, she and Ava spent more time together at probably Janine’s apartment talking about their fathers and Ava was probably even more comforting with her there (because she can relate). For a second, it looked like Ava was about to place her hand on top of Janine’s to assure her. I would’ve ran outside shouting, “AVANITES WON!”

Y’alllll, their friendship — I mean their “acquaintanceship” is growing!

Btw — who murmured the “Mmmm” after Ava said it wasn’t too bad for Janine to be Janine while Janine gave her a very proud-she-likes-me look?! The captions didn’t capture who said it. It sounded like Erika said it and if she did, she knows something…We are onto something!!!!!!!

📽️ The Invitation (2022)

This was a case of the trailer’s making the movie look better than it was. The acting wasn’t super great. It was like they were trying to make it scarier than it was. There were several plot holes and a few scenes that seemed like they would lead somewhere and didn’t. Overall this was a disappointing watch.

Sex/nudity: 3/10 (kissing/making out, implied sex, nipples seen through a bathing suit, some bare butts)

Violence: 8/10 (actually quite a bit, too much to write it all out)

Language: 5/10 (two or three f-words, several instances of language)

Overall rating: 5/10
