Watershed (Shandrew/Courtdrew)

A/N: Because Courtney herself asked for it here you go. Maybe not the smutfest the public wants but the feels they deserve. This takes place while Andrew and Courtney take some private time in the toilet when the evicted housemates return. After the taps are turned on.

“I fancy you. I really do.” Andrew whispered as he nuzzled softly against Courtney’s neck.

Courtney closed her eyes as he kissed the warm skin below her jaw. She wanted to believe it. She didn’t doubt that he believed it. But was he really attracted to her… all of her? It was alright if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t be the first to only buy into the illusion. But she needed to know. And it might be now or never. Big Brother had given them a second chance and she wasn’t going to pass it up.

Andrew’s kisses had trailed down to her collarbone and he was nudging the velvety fabric of her robe aside. She placed a hand against his chest and gently pushed him away from her. Dark brown eyes met hers with mild confusion and she smiled back reassuringly.

When Andrew stepped back to give her space, she grasped the sash of her robe. She locked eyes with him so she could glean whatever she might from his reaction. She slowly untied the knot, giving him a moment to back out.

One heartbeat… two… three.

She let the untied sash drop from her hands.

Four… five… six.

She could feel her heart speeding up. It felt like an eternity that they stood there, eyes unwavering from eachother. Then she felt Andrew’s touch against her chest as he gently moved the fabric aside.

She held his gaze as she took a step back until her hips hit the counter. She reached behind her and gripped it tightly with both hands as Andrew’s eyes slipped down from hers… to her lips… the marks he’d left on the skin below her neck… over her smooth chest where they paused for a moment.

As they dropped below her waist she let out the breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding. When his eyes suddenly flicked back up to meet hers, she had to look away. She couldn’t face whatever they held — recoil, sadness, or worse… nothing at all.

She hid behind the curtain of blonde hair that fell across her face. This had been such an awful mistake. Why couldn’t she have been content with what they had? Why did she need to know? Why did she always need to fucking know?

Because he needed to know. Needed to really see her. Everything that was Courtney, body and soul. Tears began to prick her eyes as she felt the loss of something that had become unexpectedly important to her. Every second that ticked by felt like miles of gulf opening between them.

She heard his shoes scrape against the floor as he stepped closer. When she could feel the warmth of his body near to her skin, her heart clenched. Defying the fears crashing against her walls, she turned to look at him.

His face was unreadable.

But then she heard him say, barely above a breath, “you are so brave… so beautiful and so brave.”

One heartbeat… two.

“All of you.”

Three… four…

He laid a hand on the cool skin of her hip. “I love everything that makes you the incredible human that you are. No part of you makes me feel shame for loving you.”

Courtney wrapped her arms around him and drew him close, the length of both their bodies pressed together. It wasn’t everything she wanted to know, but for know it was all she needed to know.
