Walgreens deal--
This week at Walgreens, Whole Blends shampoo is on sale 2 for $7. I used four $2 manufacturer coupons as well as the $1 coupon in the Walgreens monthly coupon booklet (booklets can be found near the front of the store). After coupons, the shampoo & conditioner came out to be .50 per bottle. With tax, it was $3.17, but I used $3 in points so I paid only 17 cents out of pocket!

Some deals from Target--
Total cost: $31.56
What I paid: $1.37
I was excited about this haul because I was able to pick up a few moneymaker items!
The Seventh Generation dish soap was free with a coupon they sent me. On top of using the coupon for a free item there is also a 20% cartwheel available right now. This made for a .56 moneymaker.
The Talenti gelato was free with a coupon the brand sent me.
The Meow Mix wet food is .79 per two pack. I bought 2, used a .55 coupon and received .50 back on Ibotta, making it .53 for both.
The Emergen-C 10 pack is $4.49. I used a $2 coupon and got $1 back on Saving Star to make it $1.49.
The Progresso Organic soup is $2.59. I used a $1 coupon and got $1 back on Saving Star to make it $.59
The Muir Glen tomatoes are $1.25. I used a .50 coupon and got .50 back on Saving Star, making it $.25
The Suja juice is $3.49. I used a $1 manufacturer coupon, $1 Target coupon, a 25% cartwheel and received .75 back on Ibotta. I had to pay 11 cents for the Suja rather than it being free because the $1 Target coupon comes off before the Target cartwheel does, making the cartwheel discount a little smaller.
The Archer Farms asparagus was free with a Target coupon I received in the mail.
The Clairol Touch Up was a small moneymaker. It is $6.89--I had a coupon for 1 free plus there was a 10% cartwheel. The cartwheel made it a .69 moneymaker.
I saved 10 cents for using reusable bags and no 5% off because I used a Target gift card I received for Christmas (the only thing I dislike about Target gift cards is missing my extra 5% discount!) I also got .25 on Ibotta for their any item rebate.

50 cents for socks at Eddie Bauer!
If you sign up to receive Eddie Bauer’s emails, they will occasionally email you $10 gift certificates. I try to spend as close to $10 as I can to spend as small amount as possible out of pocket. I was able to find these hiking socks for $10.50, so after certificate they were only 50 cents!

Freebies this week!
The soap was free from Walmart by checking out through Google Express (you can get a one time $10 credit to use).
The Noxzema razors are free from a sample company. I have to try them out and review them in exchange for the product.
The Black Charcoal Nose Strips were 1 penny actually! My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up and he received $5 from DSW. The nose strips were $4.99 and after the $5 code we only had to pay 1 cent in tax. Not sure why!

CVS, 10/22/17

Deals:
The tea is on sale 2 for $1.
The mascara is $10.49. When you spend $10 on Physician’s Formula products, you get $7 Extra Bucks back. I had a $4 PF coupon and was able to roll $7 Extra Bucks I had from last week’s PF deal.
The Hershey’s bar was .25 with a CVS coupon.
My subtotal was a little under $1 and then I received $7 Extra Bucks back for the mascara!

CVS, 11/6/17
Total cost: $19.41
What I paid: This shopping trip was a .59 moneymaker!
100% savings
The Persil laundry detergent was on sale for $4.99 a few weeks ago. It was out of stock so I got a raincheck. I had a $3 coupon and received $2 back on SavingStar, making it free!
The Propel waters were on sale for 2 for $2. I had a b1g1 free coupon as well. For some reason instead of taking of the b1g1 taking off $1 it took off $2, making both free! (Must be a glitch with the CVS system).
The Gold Emblem granola is $3.99 and is on sale b1g1 free. I had a coupon for $2 off 2 Gold Emblem Abound grocery items, so it ended up being $1.99 for both.
The Dr. Bronner’s soap was on clearance for $5.49. I tried using a $1.50 off body wash or soap store coupon, but the cashier didn’t take it and didn’t tell me why. It may be because it was on clearance.
The TY ninja was a part of Halloween clearance and was 75% off. I paid $1.75.
I bought the Hazelnut Almond butter as a filler item for $1.19 because I thought the $1.50 body wash coupon was going to work on the Dr. Bronner’s.
I also paid with $11 Extra Bucks. Unfortunately I didn’t purchase any items that produced Extra Bucks so I didn’t receive any back. I decided I’d rather purchase items that I really wanted instead of buying something to roll my Extra Bucks.
After receiving the $2 back from SavingStar, this haul was a .59 moneymaker!

These are the Kmart Friday freebies from the past two weeks.
Every Friday, Kmart offers a free item on the Kmart app. The coupon for the offer must be loaded on Friday, but you are able to redeem the coupon in-store until that Sunday (so you have 3 days to use it).
I’ve been skipping a lot of the Kmart freebies because some of the offers haven’t been worth the trip for me just to pick up the one free item, but a 4-pack of toilet paper and laundry detergent were worth it for me! Here’s hoping tomorrow’s offer is just as good!

Quick stop at CVS--
Total cost: $7.13
What I paid: $1.13
92% savings
I noticed the last time I was at CVS that some Herbal Essences products were 50% off on clearance. The hairspray was $3.49 and the dry shampoo was $3.64. There is a $6 off 2 Herbal Essences products coupon on the CVS app right now. I was able to use that to get both products for $1.13 out of pocket! Plus, I think this purchase will also get me my $3 in Beauty Bucks (if you’re part of CVS’s Beauty Bucks program, you earn $3 Extra Bucks for every $30 you spend on beauty products).

CVS, 9/25/17
Total cost: $23.55
What I paid: 55 cents!
Deals:
The Special K cereal is on sale for $1.99 each. I had $1 coupons, making them .99 each.
The Almay make up remover face washes were $6.29 each. I had a $3 store coupon and a $5 store coupon for Almay products. If you spend $12 on Almay products, you get $4 Extra Bucks back. So it was $4.58 for two, plus I paid with $4 Extra Bucks and got $4 back, so it was really 29 cents per bottle.
The Venus razors are on sale for $6.99. I had a $5 store coupon and a $3 manufacturer coupon, making them a $1 moneymaker that went towards paying for the cereal.
All in all I only paid 55 cents for everything (tax not included). I also received .25 back on Ibotta for purchasing any item, bringing my total down to 30 cents.

Annual FREEBIE birthday post--
I’ve made posts like this the last few years on my birthday because I want you guys to know how much stuff you can get for free during your birthday month!
Pictured is 1 free drink from Dunkin’ Donuts, 1 free drink from Caribou Coffee, a free birthday sundae from Culver’s, 1 NYX eyeshadow palette from Ulta Beauty, and a Tarte lip paint and blush from Sephora.
In addition, I usually get a free pizza up to $16 from Old Chicago, a free small deep dish pizza from Green Mill, a free sub from Erbert’s & Gerbert’s, a free pulled pork sandwich from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, snack size wings from Buffalo Wild Wings, free Redbox rental, 1 free pastry from Panera Bread Company, a Perkins Magnificent Seven meal, a free rice crispie from Noodles & Company, a free root beer float from A&W restaurants, 1 free drink from Starbucks, and $3 Extra Bucks from CVS.
In this list I only included companies that are in my area that I actually redeem freebies from most years. There are plenty of other restaurants and stores that offer freebies for your birthday. For example, I know IHOP offers free pancakes for your birthday and Denny’s offers a free breakfast. If you google birthday freebies, you will find plenty of others to redeem at restaurants in your area!

A few deals at Target and Super One--
Total cost: $27.20
What I paid: $2.07
Deals:
The Puff’s tissue is $1.49. The Luvs diapers are $6.99. I had a .25 coupon for the Puff’s and a $2 coupon for the diapers. Checkout51 had a .50 rebate for the Puff’s and a $3 rebate for the diapers. There’s supposed to be a $1.50 bonus rebate for unlocking 2 P&G rebates. I haven’t received it yet so I’m waiting to see if I get the bonus. If I do, it’ll make it .49 per item. If not, the diapers were $1.99 and the tissue was 74 cents.
The RX Bars are $6.99. I had a $3 coupon and a $2.50 Mobisave rebate, making it $1.49 for the box.

I saved 15 cents for using reusable bags at Target and 5% with my Redcard.
