Now Paxton has shifted his mode of attack, enlisting the help of a Republican DA who “referred” a case to his office. I’m curious to know on what grounds, and whether there was any coordination at work. Paxton has now used that referral as a pretext to conduct raids on the homes and offices of Latino voting activists claiming “voter fraud.” Among the targets are Democratic leaders and election volunteers. They’ve had their cell phones, computers and documents seized, and ordinary citizens are now embroiled in costly criminal cases.
Make no mistake: The charges are political and are intended to intimidate and to suppress votes under the guise of “secure elections.” Latino civil rights groups have asked the Justice Department to intervene.
...
Paxton’s latest deplorable move
With the courts telling him he couldn’t pursue election fraud charges on his own, Paxton shifted gears. He enlisted the help of Republican District Attorney Audrey Gossett Louis in the 81st Judicial District in Texas. That includes Atascosa and Frio Counties, where some of the recent raids were conducted.
The New York Times published an account of some of the raids. Some raids were conducted on actual candidates running for office:
On Tuesday…officers raided the home of Cecilia Castellano, a Democrat running against Don McLaughlin, the former mayor of Uvalde, for a state House seat, taking her cellphone. Ms. Castellano described her experience as “very frightening” and said she still did not know why she was targeted. “This is all political,” she said.
Police also broke down a door and raided the home of Manuel Medina, a consultant for Castellano’s campaign. Medina is also chair of the Tejano Democrats, a group advocating for greater Hispanic representation in the Democratic Party.
Elderly residents were also targeted, including Lidia Martinez, an 87-year old retired educator in San Antonio:
Nine officers, seven of them men, some with guns in their holsters, then pushed open the door and marched past a living room wall decorated with crucifixes, she said. “I got scared,” she recalled in an interview on Sunday, speaking in both English and Spanish. “They told me, ‘We have a warrant to search your house.’ I said, ‘Why?’ I felt harassed.” Ms. Martinez said that the officers told her they came because she had filled out a report saying that older residents were not getting mail ballots. “Yes, I did,” she told them. For 35 years, Ms. Martinez has been a member of LULAC, the civil rights group, helping Latino residents stay engaged in politics. Much of her work has included instructing older residents and veterans on how to fill out voter registration cards. “I go to a lot of senior events; I explain to them what they have to do,” she said. “I’ve been involved in politics all of my life.”
Reactions from Latino elected leaders have been swift and, understandably, full of outrage. State Senator Roland Gutierrez could barely contain his anger, claiming “Crooked Ken Paxton” had targeted and terrorized seniors in his district.

Grant A Fuhrman, Wisconsin inmate 720159, born 2002, incarceration intake May 2023 at age 20, scheduled for release November 2036
Attempted Murder
In May 2023, a man charged with and found guilty of the attempted homicide of a school resource officer in Oshkosh was handed down his sentence by a judge.
Grant Fuhrman was sentenced to 17 years in prison with ten years of extended supervision. He was reportedly credited with 1,246 days served.
Fuhrman, who was 16 at the time of the attack, was previously found guilty of Attempted 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide by a Winnebago County jury. Fuhrman pleaded not guilty to the charge in 2021. The incident happened back in 2019.
According to the criminal complaint, Fuhrman texted a friend to bet that Fuhrman would not go to Wissink’s office and stab him with a pencil, take Wissink’s gun out of his holster, and either shoot himself or the officer. The friend said she did not report the message.
The friend, identified only by her initials, told investigators that the night before the attack, she told Fuhrman to stop bothering her or she would report him.
That next morning, Fuhrman allegedly smirked at her in school before heading into Wissink’s office to begin the attack.
Fuhrman told investigators that after his fight with his friend, he stopped communicating with her and started thinking about how he could get Wissink’s gun, even though he also said he had nothing against the officer and didn’t want him to die, according to the complaint.
“Fuhrman stated that he thought about how he would stab Officer Wissink in the neck and take his gun,” the complaint states. In the morning, he went to his kitchen, chose a grilling fork, and had it in his waistband when he arrived at school, the complaint said.
According to the complaint, Wissink told Fuhrman, whom the officer called a “hall wanderer,” to get to class after he saw the student walk past his office that morning. After an assistant principal left Wissink’s office, Fuhrman entered and asked the officer to look up his fine for shooting up cars with a BB gun. With Fuhrman standing behind him, Wissink said he was searching on his computer when he felt a blow, and his “head got rocked.”
Wissink said he felt more blows “raining” on his head and felt “extreme pain.” The officer said he believed he was hit at least five more times but was able to get to his feet and saw Fuhrman holding a three-prong fork. Wissink was unable to get his Taser, so he drew his gun and fired twice, hitting Fuhrman once and shooting himself in the left forearm.
Wissink kneeled on Fuhrman to keep him down and heard the student say, “I’m dying,” according to the complaint. Wissink said Fuhrman only stopped stabbing him after he was shot.
“Wissink stated that he had a good relationship with Fuhrman before the attack, and teachers had told him that Fuhrman regarded his office as a safe place,” the complaint states.
Fuhrman told investigators that he did not want Wissink to die but that he wanted his gun, according to the complaint. However, the student said he did not know what he would do with the gun when he got it.
“Fuhrman stated that he wanted Officer Wissink to know that it was nothing personal and he didn’t dislike Officer Wissink,” the complaint says.
The now 20-year-old began to cry as he spoke before the court at his sentencing hearing.
He apologized to the victim and the entire school community that was rocked by the violence.
“What I’ve done has deeply affected you,” Fuhrman said of the victim. “I wish to take that pain away. As much as I wish I could, I can’t take back what I’ve done but I can do what I can to make things right.”
The defense argued that Fuhrman’s family struggled to treat his attention deficit disorder which included depression and sleeplessness.
Fuhrman said he hoped to have the forgiveness of all involved one day.

Editor’s note: This story includes reporting on a graphic, violent crime.
The man accused of buying a five-year-old girl’s sexual favors from her mother before he used his cell phone to record himself raping and strangling the child will have a plea hearing Wednesday before a Russell County judge.
Charged in the death of Kamarie Holland, suspect Jeremy Tremaine Williams asked for the hearing in Circuit Judge David Johnson’s courtroom, said Russell County District Attorney Rick Chancey.
That does not mean Williams will plead guilty to any of the multiple felonies he faces, Chancey said. If he does not, he is set for trial in early April, the district attorney said.
Represented by attorney Charles Floyd III, Williams has pleaded both not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity or mental defect.
That means he has claimed that at the time of the crime, he was “unable to appreciate the nature and quality or wrongfulness of his acts.”
Chancey has said that were a jury to accept that defense, Williams would be sent to an institution for the criminally insane, and not to a state prison.
Besides Williams, Kamarie Holland’s mother Kristy Siple also is charged in the homicide, accused of trafficking her daughter to Williams for a so-far undisclosed amount of cash.
Siple, also known as Kristy Hoskins, faces three counts of felony murder based on rape, sodomy and first-degree kidnapping.
Both she and Williams were indicted for conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, the charge accusing Williams of agreeing to pay Siple “for the use of her daughter.”
Williams was indicted also for human trafficking, abusing a corpse and producing child pornography, plus capital murder for killing someone younger than 14, and three more counts of capital murder for causing a death in the course of kidnapping, rape and sodomy.
He allegedly recorded himself on a cell phone committing the crimes, authorities said.
Williams faces execution, if convicted, but prosecutors have not sought the death penalty in Siple’s case.
If convicted, she faces life in prison.
Siple reported her daughter missing from her Bowman Street home in Columbus on Dec. 13, 2021, the same day authorities searching for the missing girl found her slain in a vacant house Williams once occupied on 15th Avenue in Phenix City. Investigators captured Williams later that night.
They arrested Siple on Dec. 28, after further investigation revealed she had trafficked her daughter to Williams, said Sheriff Heath Taylor
Johnson has issued a gag order that prohibits authorities from disclosing details of the ongoing investigation, though attorneys are free to comment on court procedure and the status of the case.

An 11 year old girl is dead because her family allowed a man with a history of crimes involving minors on their property.
CNN —
The man suspected in the death of 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham is a family friend who was entrusted with taking her to the school bus on the morning she vanished – and later participated in the massive search for the girl before her body was found in an east Texas river, authorities said.
Audrii’s family thought the suspect, Don Steven McDougal, was just taking the girl down the street when the pair left her home Thursday morning, Polk County officials said. But she never made it onto the school bus or into her classroom, and a bag resembling her bright red Hello Kitty backpack was later found near a local dam.
Prosecutors are preparing an arrest warrant for McDougal, 42, and believe the evidence supports a capital murder charge, Polk County District Attorney Shelly Sitton said Tuesday.
Audrii’s body was found Tuesday in the Trinity River, downstream from the reservoir near where the backpack was found. It was one of several locations McDougal told investigators he had gone around the time of her disappearance, Sheriff Byron Lyons said.
Investigators located Audrii’s remains using cell phone records, video analysis and information from McDougal, Lyons said.
The condition of Audrii’s remains is not being released, the sheriff said, and the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine her cause of death.
To help uncover the body, Lyons said, water management authorities slowed the flow of water from the Lake Livingston reservoir – one of the largest reservoirs in the state, with 83,000 surface acres – allowing the river level to recede enough to reveal the remains.
“I express my deepest sympathies and condolences to everyone who knew, who cared for and loved Audrii,” the sheriff said. “We will continue to process the evidence that has been gathered to ensure justice for Audrii.”
The suspect is already in custody after being arrested Friday night on an unrelated aggravated assault charge, the sheriff’s office said.
CNN has been unable to determine if McDougal has obtained legal representation and has reached out to his family for comment on the accusations against him.
McDougal, a friend of Audrii’s father, lived in a trailer on the family’s property and sometimes took the girl to catch her school bus in the neighborhood, the sheriff said. He has been the main person of interest in her disappearance as authorities frantically scoured the rural east Texas town of Livingston – about 70 miles northeast of Houston, he said.
McDougal joined the search efforts and was seen knocking on neighborhood doors and asking if anyone had seen Audrii, the sheriff told CNN. But Lyons doesn’t believe his efforts were genuine.
“To me, it simply tells me is that he’s trying to give the appearances that he has no play or he’s not at fault in her disappearance and that (he’s) part of the concerned parties who were trying to locate her,” Lyons said Tuesday.
In the days after Audrii vanished, McDougal claimed in several social media comments that he was not guilty in her disappearance and has “done nothing wrong,” according to activity on a Facebook account appearing to belong to the suspect.
“I’m not guilty,” reads a comment from the account under a post on the Facebook page “True Crime Society” the day after Audrii was reported missing.
“I was there and was questioned. I am not running or hiding,” McDougal wrote before commenting again and saying, “I have done everything I can to help find her. I have done nothing wrong.”
CNN has sought comment from investigators about the Facebook comments.
Suspect has decadeslong criminal history
McDougal has a lengthy criminal history dating back to at least 2003, with convictions for violent crimes and one for enticing a child, according to court records in several Texas counties.
In 2007, he was convicted of enticing a child in Brazoria County, Texas. Court records show he pleaded no contest and was sentenced to two years in prison but was given credit for 527 days.
Online records do not detail the specific allegations in the child enticement case. But the offense is defined by the state as “the intent to interfere with the lawful custody of a child younger than 18 years” when a person “entices, persuades, or takes the child from the custody of the parent or guardian.”
McDougal was also convicted in 2010 and 2019 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim in the first aggravated assault case said McDougal, his former coworker, attacked him after being thrown out of his house.
“He showed up with some other friends that I had,” Elic Bryan told CNN on Tuesday.

Romanian police on Wednesday searched four properties linked to Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan amid new child sex and trafficking allegations.
According to Romania’s prosecutors for the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) police descended on four locations owned by the Tate brothers in Bucharest and Ilfov.
The searches are linked to a fresh investigation against the Tate brothers, according to the authorities.”DIICOT implemented four home search warrants within Ilfov county and Bucharest municipality, in a criminal case regarding the commission of the crimes of forming an organized criminal group, trafficking in minors, trafficking in persons, sexual intercourse with a minor, influencing statements and money laundering,” said a press release.
Police raided Andrew Tate’s properties following new complaints made by the alleged victims of the Tate brothers, who run, among other things, a business related to video chat in Romania.
A spokesperson for the Tate brothers confirmed the raids on social media. “Although the allegations in the search warrant are not yet fully clarified, they include suspicions of human trafficking and money laundering. The brothers’ legal team is present to ensure all formalities are carried out correctly,” they said.
Andrew Tate commented on X that he was the victim of conspiracies. “The Matrix is real. And they have a tried and true playbook. Slander is their number one tool, and the process is the punishment,” wrote Andrew Tate.
The Tate brothers are global influencers and self-proclaimed misogynists who claim to teach young men how to become men and fight against the system they call “The Matrix.”
The two are currently awaiting trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. In mid-July, the Bucharest Court of Appeal annulled the decision of the Bucharest Court of July 5, by which the brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate had received permission to leave the territory of Romania. In the UK, Andrew Tate faces a civil case from four British women who claim they were raped and assaulted. The brothers are also being taken to court by police in the UK for allegedly paying zero tax on £21 million in earnings from their online businesses.

STEPHEN McGRATH and ANDREEA ALEXANDRU at AP:
BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) — Masked police officers in Romania carried out fresh raids early Wednesday at the home of divisive internet influencer Andrew Tate, who is awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.
Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, said it was searching four homes in Bucharest and nearby Ilfov county, investigating allegations of human trafficking, the trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor, influencing statements and money laundering. The agency added that hearings will later be held at its headquarters. Tate’s spokesperson, Mateea Petrescu, said in response to the raids that “although the charges in the search warrant are not yet fully clarified, they include suspicions of human trafficking and money laundering” and added that his legal team is present. Petrescu did not address the allegations involving minors. Dozens of police officers and forensic personnel were scouring Tate’s large property on the edge of the capital Bucharest. “During the entire criminal process, the investigated persons benefit from the procedural rights and guarantees provided by the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as the presumption of innocence,” DIICOT noted in its statement.

All the happy bees in the Joe Pye Weed!
And it’s time for a mini-neighbor update. His court date is next week, so we’ll see what happens there. The police also came by last week looking for him and one of the ladies in the group chat searched the county records and found out that he was being sued for $50-100K by a construction company (from the fire? my best guess). The police probably came by because he didn’t show at the hearing and hasn’t retained counsel to represent him in his place. Other than occasionally stopping by in the weekends to grab stuff from the house, he hasn’t been around, so it’ll be interesting to see if he’s stupid enough to try to dodge the criminal court case too.
(Seriously though - never get on the bad side of the neighbors who are home all day. I’m both impressed and a little scared of these ladies.)

EYES WIDE SHUT … PART II OF II.
INFORMATION FOR TAG LURKERS / PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS :
our goal is to involve new people in the group as much as possible. there are many open & wanted spaces, especially for roles. at the moment, we are searching for :
MEMBERS OF THE ORDER OF THE CARDINAL SERPENT & city council members as muses ( preferably older FCs for the latter )
IN NEED OF A MERCENARY FOR THE SCARLET NIGHTMARE TO REPLACE AN OLD PLOT POINT ! please inquire if interested.
for every new member that joins, you will have an opportunity to participate in the choice selection in this plot drop. this means every new member will have a role in the plot drop. alternatively, if you apply as a firefighter, you will be added for the special task.
HOW SELECTION WORKS :
generally, we have written the plot drop & its injuries / transpirations with what we’ve come to know about the muse(s) who were randomly selected in mind & their previous threads. however, if we ever dictate an action that you deem ill-fitting of your muse, you can ignore it entirely or ask for an amendment you deem most fitting. we want this to be fun & what we write is only meant to be the starting point.
our selection was entirely random for the jury, except for new members, who were automatically included. we always use a random team generator to determine who will receive injuries or starter lottery. we have over seventy muses & bars in place to keep some from being picked too many times consecutively.
major injuries & death, if any, are hand-selected on the basis of the butterfly effect this time, per our notes about the plot progressions, individual & group-centric, of muses. we keep track of these as much as we can & take note of anything significant that could be utilized.
our major plot points this time were hand-selected based on prior plot progressions or discussions. writers selected as major plot points in part I & part II will sit out selection for any major plot points or injuries in the plot drop to come after july.
for fairness, any one muse who has been selected at random three times for a plot drop in a row will sit out the next random selection. there are no triple crown muses at this time.
THE GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERS :
the first open starter will be our icebreaker. after that, please abide the starter rule ! please only post open starters that pertain to the plot drop at this time & follow the in-game dates provided below !
you may still post exclusives outside of the realm of the plot drop and/or continue older threads.
we ask you refrain from controlling the NPCs themselves other than what is established.
there’s many possibilities for starters, as those not grouped together or selected can be reacting to these events. if you need suggestions, feel free to DM us or ask.
OOC THIS EVENT WILL LAST : until august 8th. after this date, please refrain from more starters pertaining to the plot drop — but of course the plot drop itself will hold affect on all muses exploring the aftermath & moving forward.
a follow-up will be posted regarding all plot drop transpirations a few days after the plot drop ends.
THE IN-GAME DATE IS : july 12th through july 26th. court proceedings begin on july 15th with a verdict to be given on july 22nd once all have voted.
TRIGGER WARNINGS AHEAD : none.
ADMIN NOTE : the coordinates used in this plot drop are fake & generated. they lead to an ocean in the middle of nowhere, in reality. please use your imagination.
THE COURTROOM IS ABUZZ WITH REPORTERS & JOURNALISTS EAGER TO SIT IN ON THE TRIAL — the jury has taken shape on july 15th as the three charged with criminal arson — ava adler, bronx dong-geun & mintra jix — are set to stand trial. it was determined earlier in july that the three could go free from the county jail until a verdict was reached, but they were assigned undercover detectives to follow their every move.
from the jury duty pool, the following have been selected to vote in the innocence or guilt of the trio : blue nataphon maes, bhaskar chanda, nikolai xiang, nari yeon, angelique jackson, bryn ravencroft, alice pallas ... & a stranger anchorage locals have never before seen sits with the seven. their striking silver hair & shrewd eyes stand out, but there is no time for chit-chat.
the trial begins with the prosecutor showing evidence : a bottle of alcohol, lighter fluid, & the contents of the purses confiscated from ava adler & mintra jix.
witnesses were asked to take the stand on july 17th & 18th & were asked to give their testimonies : the injured parties — addison graves-seong, andrea weber & chiara de luca — & responding firefighter(s) at the scene — naji harper. ( READ TO THE END FOR SPECIAL TASK INSTRUCTIONS ! )
in the midst of all that pandemonium ... you probably didn't realize someone else was meant to sit on the jury, too. zeliha turan was replaced by the reclusive stranger sitting in & no one on the midnight thrillers mystery busters gang has seen them since july 12th ... strange, indeed.
that same evening before the trial, the old rotary phone in the lighthouse rings while blue nataphon maes is checking on it. when they pick it up, it's their overseer who speaks :
' convince the others on the jury to put them away. we don't protect them anymore. you'll be paid handsomely for your time ... the problem got out of control, but it has been dealt with. '
maiden alley cinema & its subsequent apartment complex have opened their doors again. investigators never discovered the perpetrator who planted circus of the blood bride & the tape was DESTROYED by the crew's attempts to remove it. it was as if the perpetrator vanished into thin air.
in response to the incident, the landlord of the cinema & seal harbor apartments announced a brand-new surveillance system called CLAPPY would be installed to the premises. each resident would receive a welcome package & instructions on how to make their lights clap-operated. some are complaining the lights go out by themselves, but it works pretty well ...
a curious postcard was delivered to mio akimoto on july 26th at the dance hall. a generic tourist card for anchorage on the front, & a scribble of numbers on the back with a single sentence on the back :
' -48.770321387970° N -179.999518249074° W
long time no see :) if you ever want to see your sister again, come find me ! '
stranger still ... on the evening of july 19th after the courthouse had taken recess for the weekend, a peculiar artifact showed up in the dropbox of the police station : a dirty cat mask with red rhinestones for eyes & a note that reads :
' don't ignore what's sitting right under your nose. '
SPECIAL TASK INSTRUCTIONS :
if you were selected for the special task as specified below, please write a self-paragraph ( does not have to be long ! ) of your witness's testimony regarding the fire & whether they are testifying for or against the accused ( ava adler, bronx dong-geun & mintra jix ). your answers are meant to be contentious as the writer can decide for themselves what their muses think they saw. answer to the following questions in action & dialogue. when finished, please tag as #anchortask08 & post to the corresponding channel in our server. please finish these by tuesday, july 30th as there will be a mid-plot drop update on the verdict :
( FOR INJURED PARTIES ONLY ) CAN YOU DESCRIBE FOR US WHAT YOU WERE DOING AT DULCE TIERRA WINERY WHEN THE FIRE STARTED ? WERE YOU ABLE TO SEE THE PERPETRATORS WHO STARTED THE FIRE ? CAN YOU IDENTIFY FOR US THE PERPETRATORS IF THEY ARE IN THE COURTROOM ? ( FOR FIREFIGHTERS ONLY ) COULD YOU WALK US THROUGH THE ORDER OF EVENTS WHEN YOU ARRIVED ON THE SCENE ? DID YOU FIND ANY EVIDENCE ON THE SCENE OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE TO HAVE STARTED THE FIRE OR ITS INTENTIONAL PATH ? ( FOR INJURIED PARTIES ONLY ) HOW HAS THE FIRE AFFECTED YOU PERSONALLY ? ( FOR FIGHTERS ONLY ) CAN YOU STATE FOR US THE EFFECT ON THE COMMUNITY THAT YOU'VE WITNESSED THIS CRIMINAL ARSON HAS HAD ?

is there a department that does victims advocacy? would it be this one? https://www.tdcj.texas.gov/index.html
In the UK for example there is a family liaison officer (flo) who keeps you informed about the progress on your case and helps you prepare for testifying in court etc. is there anything like this in the US?
THank you!
In the US, the exact laws and procedures vary by state. In Michigan, the only state I'm really familiar with, we have victim advocates who are usually employees of the prosecutor’s office, and they’re the ones who take care of victim notice requirements and help prepare them to testify. The Michigan Department of Corrections also has victims' services for victims once the offender is in prison, and they will do things like notify victims of the prisoner's status/when they're released/etc.
Looking at that link, at first I wasn't sure if it was the Texas version for once the offenders are in prison since other parts of the website talk about parole and the different prisons in Texas. But looking at it further, it has information about things like victim impact statements, which would be something that would be used prior to sentencing. So, yes, I think this would be a department that helps and works with victims.
HOWEVER, this seems to be a statewide department, and I figured that Texas probably has something like local victim advocates like Michigan does. So I searched "Travis County Victim Services" and came up with this. It looks like individual counties will have their own local victim services similar to what we have in Michigan. (Though we call them "prosecutor's offices" in Michigan, they call them "district attorney's offices" in Texas.) I would guess that the local district attorney's victim services will probably be the ones working most closely with victims as a case is going on, at least when it comes to most ordinary criminal cases.
But also, if a case is a FEDERAL criminal case, there are different departments involved. Federal criminal cases are tried by US Attorneys' Offices...and a quick google search shows me that the federal courts have their own victim services. Here's the one for the Western District of Texas, which is where Austin is located.
So, yeah, that was probably more information than you needed! Hopefully that all makes sense!

ACAB its not just a slogan or a meme.
police make everywhere feel so unsafe.
when you aren't one of the demographic they serve (landowning upper class white cishet people). i don't even think about calling the cops if my life is danger. I did that one time. they arrested me.
if there was a murder need investigating, sure, but i wouldn't trust that they would actually put any effort into the search based on who my friends tend to be.
in this city, they paid serial killers on the force 500,000 pension to "retire" and then get hired again by another county force the next year. everytime a cop car drives by, I imagine that verified murderers and accomplices, heavily armed and angry, are in the drivers seat. how is that NOT a fucking "gang"?
I'm white. I'm never going to understand the particuarly terrifying relationship Black Americans or Native people have with the police.
but when other middle class people make jabs at "unsafe" neighborhoods and places...they forget elite, rich neighborhoods can be just as deadly if you don't look like its residents. My blood pressure rises whenever i have to drive my junker truck with the taped over window into a wealthy area, or park near businesses where most of the other cars are shiny. recently all the side streets in this city have been full of "NO PARKING" signs to target houseless folks. In Kentucky they're working on passing the H5 bill the "Safer Kentucky Act" - which would decriminalize shooting homeless people. and criminalize sleeping in your car. and implement a three strike rule, which can lead to a life sentence or execution.
state sponsored execution for being "undesirable" think about that. they get to just decide who gets to live and die? for being "dirty" or using substances? for being disabled by a disabling virus?
its easy to let ACAB become a slogan and not think about why cops are bastards if you aren't exposed to dangerous situations regularly, and then default to them in a panic when the chips are down. because you haven't seen it. you're the white church mom I used to know posting about how nice the cops were to her when she got pulled over. the lady who makes her blonde friend drive when they go on road trips because she can get out of tickets. but once you witness the level of betrayal and mishandling in the criminal injustice system, the level of abuse and violence, the way your neighbors and friends are trigger-happy to use this armed gang against you the second you're perceived as "out of control, "the second that violence touches you it becomes so obvious these bastards are not your friends and never can be.
unless you adopt the ideology necessary to justify their aggressions against yourself and your neighbors. and even then. you ever seen some wacko with a Blue Lives Matter wrap get pulled over? its funny but also it shows, nothing will protect you. cops are doing heavy PR right now. town halls, coffee and donuts. they're recruiting for the upcoming militarization that's coming in response to Palestine protests and this horror show election in November.
Amerikkkan cops are heavily infiltrated and practically equivalent in many cities to other white supremacist, militant gangs. They are militarizing more and more rapidly. Using AI and integrating with the court system, more survelliance, more rules for how you're allowed to exist in public. think about that. why should it matter? if you loiter, if you skateboard, if you wear glasses or masks? you are being trained to see yourself and your neighbors as potential-crime-committers rather than human beings. we are self-survelling. reporting. getting off on correcting and ignoring eachother. What Israel is doing is a mirror held to our collective potential future. and you should be very, very alarmed. Fuck the cops. Fuck the prisons. Fuck the detention centers. We already have the Gestapo and the camps. Look the fuck around.

Before and After........
Donnie James McLachlan, Florida inmate E80980, born 2001, incarceration intake May 2021 at age 20, scheduled for release March 2038
Possession of Photo depicting Child Sexual Performance
In April 2021, a Pensacola teenager was sentenced to state prison for possessing child pornography and sending a naked picture of himself to a child.
Donnie James Mclachlan, 19, was sentenced to serve 18 years in a state prison and designated a sexual offender, according to a press release from the State Attorney’s Office.
McLachlan previously pleaded no contest on Dec. 29, 2020 to using a computer to solicit the sexual conduct of a child, transmission of harmful material and 15 counts of possession of child pornography.
According to the written release, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into Mclachlan’s criminal activities last year after a woman accused Mclachlan of sending a nude photograph of himself to her juvenile daughter over social media.
When ECSO investigators executed a search warrant on Mclachlan’s residence, they discovered a large amount of child pornography that was stored on various electronic devices in the home.
Mclachlan admitted to his possession of child pornography and to sending the illicit photograph to the juvenile, while undergoing questioning by law enforcement.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Video showing the moment a former Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer was caught allegedly taking money from a suspect was released on Tuesday.
Henry Chapman was arrested on March 14, hours after he allegedly took $900 from a man he was arresting and hid it in his patrol car. The incident started when Chapman pulled over a driver for speeding and then learned the suspect was wanted for a federal arrest warrant. According to an affidavit, the man had nearly $8,000 in his possession during the arrest.
Body camera footage showed the suspect accusing Chapman of taking some money from him.
"I don't know if it's in your door or where it's at," the man said. "Do you see anything? That's my money, that's my money right there."

An assisting officer said Chapman was shifting the money between his legs and moving it into the door pocket of his patrol car. The cash was found with a receipt inside the driver's door of Chapman's patrol car.
"I heard him tampering with that rubber band," the man said. "That rubber band was on that money because my girlfriend gave it to me this morning."
Chapman initially denied knowing the money was there, according to CMPD. The affidavit states Chapman later admitted to taking the money but claimed he wasn't stealing it. Chapman was charged with one count of embezzlement.
Chapman was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. He resigned from CMPD on March 15. He'd been on CMPD's force since 2009 and was assigned to the University City division.
An internal investigation found that Chapman violated CMPD's body camera policy during the arrest. The investigation is now in the hands of the Mecklenburg County district attorney. Chapman is expected to appear in court next month.
The video shows the arrestee asking for officers to count the cash from an evidence envelope obtained from Chapman while in a parking area at the University City Division patrol office. That was when officers searched Chapman's patrol car and found about $900 inside the driver's side door. Chapman was then placed in a separate room away from the car.
After an interview with detectives, Chapman was arrested and taken to jail.
Chief Johnny Jennings issued the following statement Monday:
“The video shows a CMPD police officer committing a crime, stealing money from a person who was in his custody. Adherence to the law is an absolute for police officers. The actions of former Officer Chapman were a contradiction to what we stand for.
I want you to know the detectives and leadership acted quickly when this incident was brought to light. Both a criminal investigation and an internal investigation were launched immediately. Chapman was arrested less than six hours after the incident following a continuous investigation and was placed on immediate unpaid administrative leave. I commend those who took those allegations serious enough to fully investigate this case which led to the arrest of one of our own.
On March 15, 2024, the day after the incident, he resigned from his employment at CMPD. The criminal case is still pending.
This incident does not represent or define the men and women of CMPD who show up every day and night to serve our community. While one officer did violate his oath, thousands more are still here and stand strong on the oath they took. I commend them for their commitment to this department and to this city. I am proud to serve with them. And we are all proud to serve you.”

Another violent man trying to worm his way into spaces with vulnerable women. Did he feel like a woman when he attacked a women’s health center?
By Anna Slatz March 20, 2024
A trans-identified male serving a 53-year sentence for multiple domestic terrorism charges is suing the Bureau of Prisons, demanding transfer to a women’s prison. Emily Claire Hari, formerly known as Michael Hari, led a ragtag right-wing militia called Patriot Freedom Fighters, later re-named to the White Rabbits.
Hari, along with the small group, began engaging in criminal activity in 2017 with the intention of carrying out acts of domestic terrorism. In August of that year, Hari’s group set an improvised incendiary device near the Imam’s office of the Dar-al Farooq Islamic Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. One of Hari’s associates, Micheal McWhorter, would later confirm the purpose of the attack was to “scare Muslims out of the United States.” No one was injured in the attack.
In November of 2017, Hari and his “soldiers” targeted the Women’s Health Practice in Champaign, Illinois, where they threw a pipe bomb into the building. The bomb did not detonate and was found by a receptionist of the clinic who called police to safely extract the device from the facility.
Hari in Sherburne County Jail in 2021.
Hari and his militia would go on to engage in a series of petty crimes in an attempt to gather the funds to continue their operations, including robbing a Hispanic man and holding up two local Walmarts in Clarence, Illinois in December of 2017.
In early 2018, Hari and his ‘militia’ attempted to sabotage railroad tracks near Effingham, Illinois with a bomb. After the attack, the group sent ransom emails demanding $190,000 in cryptocurrency under threat they would damage the railway further.
Shortly after, Hari tried to frame another individual for the crimes, but the effort would only lead to Federal Investigators more easily tracking him and the members of his militia down.
Hari and his colleagues were ultimately arrested, and, in 2021, Hari was sentenced to 53 years for his role in the Dar al-Farooq bombing. He later received an additional 14 years in 2022 on a number of other charges related to his domestic terrorist activity and the attempted bombing of the women’s clinic. The 14 years is to be served concurrently with the 53-year sentence.
During his trial, it was revealed that Hari identified as a transgender “woman.” While leading the White Rabbit militia, he had been searching terms such as ‘sex change,’ ‘transgender surgery,’ and ‘post-op transgender’ on the internet. Hari allegedly planned on fleeing to Thailand to get ‘gender affirming’ surgeries.
Hari had asked the court to take his gender dysphoria into consideration, and made a request for an amended federal prison placement based on his identity. The details of his request were placed under a seal and the presiding judge stated he would defer to the Bureau of Prisons to make the final call.
But Reduxx has now learned that the judge in the case recommended Hari be placed at FMC Carswell, a female institution, but that Bureau of Prisons instead sent him to a men’s facility. As a result, Hari launched a lawsuit agains the Bureau of Prisons in late 2022 in a case that has been quietly making its way through the US District Court in the Central District of Illinois.
Hari is seeking transfer to a women’s prison under the Bureau of Prison’s transgender policy, which was amended in February of 2022 to make a transgender inmate’s “personal safety” and gender identity a priority when determining housing.
In his complaint, which was hand-written, Hari claims he has been subjected to sexual harassment by “dangerous tranny chasers,” and made fun of for his gender identity. He has since filed over two dozen “exhibits,” attempting to show the court he does not belong in a men’s prison. Among these exhibits include photos of himself wearing a dress-like inmate uniform.
Hari formally applied for transfer to a women’s prison in October of 2023, attempting to exhaust his internal remedies.
In an email exchange dated January 10, 2024, the Transgender Executive Council, which makes housing decisions, re-affirmed his placement at the men’s facility and told Hari his case would be re-reviewed in November — something Hari had been told repeatedly in the past.
In a Motion for Miscellaneous Relief, Hari claimed that if he were not transferred to a women’s prison in November, he would go on a hunger strike and slice off his own penis.
“The hunger strike is a political protest against both the conditions that I have been held under, and the conditions that my transgender sisters have been held under in BOP custody,” Hari wrote. “If I am not given some reasonable assurance that I am to be moved to a gender affirming housing by November 5, I will initiate a hunger strike and auto-castration on that date.”
From the motion for miscellaneous relief filed on November 13, 2023.
Hari is currently housed at Allenwood USP, a high-security facility in Pennsylvania for male offenders. While he is classified as a “male” inmate, his name in the BOP system has been changed from “Michael” to “Emily.”
If Hari is moved to FMC Carswell, he will be one of several dangerous trans-identified males held at the facility.
As previously broken by Reduxx in December, a trans-identified male convicted of rape and child sexual abuse was transferred FMC Carswell after launching a lawsuit against the Bureau of Prisons claiming “discrimination.” July Justine Shelby, born William McClain, was convicted on multiple counts of child pornography trafficking after being caught distributing photos of infants being sexually abused.
According to Keep Prisons Single Sex USA, there are approximately 1,980 transgender offenders in the federal system, of which 1,295 are trans-identified males. Of them, almost 50% are in custody for sex offenses. This is compared to just 12% of the general federal inmate population, meaning that trans-identified males are incarcerated for sex offenses at a rate of almost four times that of non-transgender inmates.
Between 2022 and 2023, there was an almost 23% increase of federal inmates who identified as transgender.
