Oralie’s hair is naturally straight and has to re-curl it every day

Kenrick and Bronte’s butts hurt after filming every tribunal scene because their chairs are super uncomfortable.

Most of the side councilors all have wild headcannons about their characters and enjoy discussing these headcannons with other people

Terik is the oldest and Clarette’s the youngest with a 12 year age difference

Zarina bleached her hair for the role.

Velia is partially deaf and uses hearing aids off camera

Ranking Current Councillors by how Hot they are

Darek. obvi!! 🥵 How could he not be first I mean LOOK at that man. What I would give for him to even smile at me.. maybe one day. 😔

Terik. He gives more boy next door than Darek does but!! I would take it. His tits are POPPING.

Clarette. I do not have these sorts of feelings about women but she is very nice looking. I'm sure many elves would beg on their knees for a chance with her, and I suppose I could be one of them if I was a man.

Liora. Once during a public ceremony I SWEAR she looked at me and I am not sure I have ever blushed harder. I am sure it was just nerves but she does have very pretty eyes.

Noland. The only reason he is as low as this is because I don't find his ability very sexy. I don't find shouting loudly to be very hot, but to each their own. He does have a decent ass.

Zarina. I've heard chargers are VERY good in bed, and I hsve no doubt that Zarina would know what she is doing. She is also breathtaking.

Oralie. She is pretty in a girl next door way, much like Terik. She seems lovely, and if the rumors about Kenric are true, then I'm sure her pussy game is off the charts.

Ramira and Velia. They are tied because I simply can't choose which one I like more. Perhaps that is because I do not like women as I do men. They are both breathtaking, but they seem very serious. I'm not sure I could deal with that if I were to try secuding them (Which I would not! Because I am not a man!)

Emery. He is much too serious for me to feel much for him, even more so than Ramira and Velia. Telepathy is also not something I've ever much desired in a parter. I do not particularly want someone in my head while making love.

Alina. She is very rude, and unfortunately her looks do not much make up for it.

Bronte. Ew.

Headcannons about Alina joining the council?

I'm getting so many asks about Council dynamics lately and I absolutely love it <3 keep 'em coming

Right off the bat, things were uneasy when Alina joined because of the tragic circumstances that led to it

Even despite that, the other Councillors know they needed another member to their party. After what happened at the Healing, people needed hope and stability.

They also knew that trust in the Council was waning, so they figured a Beguiler would be good to have among their ranks.

Despite the fact that Alina was inexperienced, they believed her years as the Foxfire Principal had contributed to her being able to keep a calm head in stressful situations (looking at you Keefe).

She was elected after not a whole lot of debate. Some of the more experienced and older Councillors like Bronte and Liora had the most doubts, but they were convinced pretty soon to elect her.

Even with the terrible circumstances, the other Councillors tried to make the transition as smooth as possible. The ceremonies weren't all the same as normal and the grief and fear were almost palpable in everyone, but they are Councillors. They're all used to having their emotions pushed down in favor of duty.

The one who had the hardest time was, of course, Oralie. Because of the quick election and funeral after Kenric's death, she didn't get to mourn in the way she wanted to.

She tried. She really, really tried not to automatically resent Alina. The fire wasn't Alina's fault, and she did show a proper amount of respect for the circumstances that had led to her election.

But then the ability restrictor happened

When she first brought it up as a possible solution for the whole ogre king debacle, everyone was outraged.

Alina began to explain, saying how this would be the only option that would appease King Dimitar, how talented Dex is, and how it would prevent Sophie from making any other foolish mistakes

She wasn't using her beguiling (that would have gotten her immediately kicked off the Council) but somehow that made it worse. She'd just trained in powers of persuasion for so long that she knew what to say to convince people even without influencing their minds.

(On a side note I really want to know more about how beguiling actually works...)

And slowly, the other Councillors began to agree

When they put it to a vote, Bronte, Oralie, and Terik were the only ones who disagreed, obviously.

The others had seen Bronte mad before, but they'd never really seen that from Oralie or Terik. The three of them fought on and on against such a drastic measure, offering alternate solutions.

But eventually, they realized that it was hopeless. As awful as the ability restrictor was, they had to agree- or risk being kicked off the Council, which would cause even more division and mean they couldn't help Sophie with the resources of a Councillor.

And since then, the Council has been divided and fractured even more. Alina was supposed to be what brought them together, but instead, she was one of the reasons they were torn apart.

What kind of prom outfits do you think each of the Councillors would wear (also imagine that Foxfire has a prom type dance for the elite levels and the younger levels and since Foxfire is a noble school the council got stuck chaperoning the level 1-6s because they signed up on accident for the lower levels instead of the elite level chaperoning)

Oo that's an interesting thought! I hope the council has fun in their chaperoning :), they probably could pull rank and switch out, but I'm going to assume where they were chaperoning has already been shared and backing out would reflect poorly on them

I'm answering this assuming it's an elven prom, and that the council are all adult chaperones (as opposed to what they wore at their prom), and also not super acquainted with them so! if you have a different suggestion feel free

Alina: The most extravagant ballgown you've ever seen. No one understands how she can move in the thing, or how she's not swallowed whole. Huge skirt, so many jewels

Bronte: He doesn't dress up, he wears the same thing he does every day and scowls about the situation in a corner. Wants desperately to leave.

Clarette: Simple but chic. No layers or folds or ruffles, but perhaps a slit on one side. She doesn't want the excess fabric to get in the way. Nice accent jewelry to complement the simplicity.

Darek: He's got a typical suit situation going on. Likes to keep it simple so his outfits don't get in the way of his phasing. I don't know what color, though. Black? Tan? I just don't think he stands out

Emery: Dark suit-like ensemble, maybe in navy? I almost said green but that's the mourning color. He doesn't want to stand out, but wants to look professional. Nice embroidery on the cuffs and such

Liora: Incredibly flowy, bright colors. Patterns look good on her and she takes advantage of it. I don't know why but I feel like she'd wear sandals? Or at least very strappy shoes/heels?

Noland: The clothes themselves are simple, but he's got loud patterns that stand out, bright colors. Even so, he still spends most of his night away from everyone else.

Oralie: I'm thinkin something tulle, something that twirls. Off the shoulder effortless style, you know? Of course it's in pink. Like this

Ramira: Something fitted, perhaps? Not skin-tight necessarily, but closer to that. Maybe a nice silver to blend in more and avoid attention, but I could also see a golden tone working really well for her. Looser bracelets/necklaces to offset the tightness of the outfit?

Terik: I think he'd be comfortable going a little more casual, so not a full out suit, but just dressed up a little. Fancier embroidery on his jerkin, a nicer pair of pants. Perhaps a fancier cane, too?

Velia: Fitted towards the top, flows at the bottom. Dark coloring. Makes it look like she's floating wherever she goes, mysterious vibe to her. A statement necklace.

Zarina: Whatever it it's, it's made of that satin-like off-white cream fabric that looks super smooth and shiny, almost reflective. Maybe with a gradient to a light blue. Feel like she'd have fancy sleeves, but nothing delicate. Everything is sturdy and durable

These are just ideas off the top of my head based on what I have to work with (which isn't much), so don't take these too seriously! There's some reasoning to them, but not a lot! it's also pretty canon typical, but if you like headcanons feel free!
