1) How many works do you have on AO3?

I have 6 works. Rookie numbers ik. But I do have some (less than ideal) fics on wattpad, too. I started there and only joined ao3 a few years ago. I originally intended to only use ao3 to read fics, but then I started writing again and decided that it was much better to use than wattpad 😅.

2) What's your total AO3 word count?

12,624 (and counting). Higher than I thought tbh. I'm used to only seeing like 300 smt words a fic if I'm honest. I find it hard to write so much and make it sound interesting to read. But I'm proud of my current wip 😁

3) What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

"Soap as Soap?" (39), Two Crows and Their Nest (36), A Stony Fanfiction (9), Hospital Wing (9), Pacing and Potions (8)

4) What fandoms do you write for?

Hogwarts Legacy (2), Call of Duty (2), The Avengers/Marvel (1), Dragon Age: The Veilguard (1)

I have also got wips for Star Trek, and I have written wips for many others that I cannot remember right now.

5) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

OF COURSE I DO! Any feedback is welcome, and I would like to share my appreciation for the reader who decided to comment on my fics. Sometimes I don't because at the time I probably couldn't think of anything. But that doesn't happen very often, I'd just respond with a "thank you" of some kind at the very least.

6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

None so far. Sorry to disappoint. I have a track record of never finishing fics. Although if I were it wouldn't happen very often. Depending on the ship.

7) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Again, none so far. Though I hope that Two Crows and Their Nest will have the happiest ending I can come up with. You'll just have to wait and see 😉✨️

8) Do you get hate on fics?

No. Not that I can remember. Most of my earlier stuff is on wattpad so I genuinely can't remember what's happened on those; I barely touch the app unless reading my own old ass fics just to poke fun at 12 year old me, so.

And I tend to get very nice feedback from both tumblr and ao3. Which I am very thankful for <3

9) Do you write smut?

I have tried in the past. I have in the past. Though I wouldn't call it smut by ao3's standards. I wrote it on wattpad.

10) Do you write crossovers?

No. I don't read them either. It makes my brain itch in a very unsatisfactory way.

11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Nope. Not to my knowledge. If I have, it'd probably be from my old wattpad fics. But why the heck would you nick one of those 💀

12) Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope! I'm not out there enough for that to happen.

13) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

Technically. I have a Star Trek wip that me and @snek-of-eden are- were writing. And I asked them to beta read it for me, and then they ended up helping me write some things too. Which I thank them for still! If I ever finish it and upload it I was planning on adding them as a cowriter for the fic because it's true. I don't want to overshadow them seen as in they are equally just as much the writer as I am.

14) What's your all-time favourite ship?

I'd have to say I don't have one. Specifically. I have a preferred ship from whichever fandom I'm currently wanting to read/write from. Right now, I'd say Lucanis Dellamorte/Male Rook. But I am also in the market for some Bloodweave (Astarion/Gale bg3)!

15) What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

The Star Trek one. I made my own species/planet and everything! It's the most indepth I've ever gotten into the "How's & Why's" of a fic I wanted to write. And I love it! I just don't feel like writing for that fandom rn, and I'm just scared I'm gonna abandon said fic 😔

16) What are your writing strengths?

I have been told on multiple occasions that I "have such a way with words" and personally I think I'm pretty good at describing things. More specifically people; like their eyes, or their minute details in their faces. Something like that. I'd also maybe say characters emotions? I'm not the best at those irl so I'm not sure I use the correct words or the words correctly.

17) What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to use a lot of the same words; "and", "says", "asks", etc. I also tend to use commas like far too much. Especially in my current fic 💀 (I'm so sorry)

18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

GOD YES! PLEASE! I eat that up! I love a bit of Spanish, or French, or German, or heck even Icelandic! (I have read fics with all of these languages sprinkled in here and there)

19) First fandom you wrote for?

Batman. More specifically, Batman/Joker. No. I will not elaborate.

20) Favourite fic you've ever written?

THE ONE IM CURRENTLY WRITING!!!! I am foaming at the mouth with these two (Lucanis/Velasco (My Crow Rook))! Someone put me down! 🫠

Hot Take: Silver trusting Mephiles COULD have worked if the writing was better

I pick neutral because - and not to be rude - you can apply this to most things that turn out poorly in execution. It could have been good, it just needed to be more good. :P

I agree with the basic gist. Given that Silver is intentionally written to be naive in a lot of ways, I'm sure it was possible for his decision to trust Mephiles to be framed in a more understandable light, and fit well into his naivety without it veering into legitimately stupid territory... but I can't rank it based on what we didn't get, can I? When it's time to be critical towards the final product, I have to work with what we paid money for, and compared to Elise, who I merely consider an underwritten character whose constant kidnappings weren't really her fault, it's a lot more difficult for me to give similar leeway to Silver when he's meant to be seen as this flawed-yet-sympathetic figure, but all I get is a pure incompetent asshole whose smug attitude and blatant Worfing of Sonic because "pls like this badass character" makes said idiocy ten times more unbearable to sit through than it already would have been. Characters like Silver don't necessarily deserve to be demonized or abused for bad decisions (shout out to @beevean for what Netflixvania!Hector had to suffer through, I had no part in that show yet I'm still sorry for what happened 😔), but they do deserve scrutiny if it's the result of genuinely bad writing.

Funnily enough, I've always felt the same way about Mephiles himself: there were decent concepts, there could have been good execution, but in the end, I can't judge Mephiles by what handwaves can be used to explain away legitimate writing fumbles when said evidence of those handwaves are non-existent in the material. If I'm required to do Disney Star Wars-tier homework for the story to be good (and even that isn't guaranteed), I don't consider it a good story, because there's a line between interpretations of the work and just straight up doing all of the writer's job for them because they couldn't be arsed to do it themself.

All in all, if I'm going to be as harsh as I am towards Lanolin trusting Duo (and all the post-S3&K examples of Knuckles trusting Eggman, much as I love SA1 and Advance 2), I don't feel I can make an exception with this example in good faith. While I acknowledge that their contexts are not entirely the same - for example, Lanolin's actions were more overtly unjustified, and she also doesn't have the veneer of possible desperation due to not being stuck in a fiery hellhole - they're not that wildly different either, and the end result is ultimately the same: the so-called victim looks like a much bigger asshole AND a much bigger idiot than the writer probably intended, thereby forcing the viewer to ask why they should keep bothering with them. I believe it's important to highlight the difference between naivety and stupidity, which is why I don't soften up on Silver trusting Mephiles, since that example achieved the opposite and fed into the misconception.

on those lazy days you and tweek go to craigs house and set up his movie projector outside in his backyard. you guys lay on his trampoline with blankets and munch on snacks. ghibli movies are %100 being watched. but it's all fun and games until CRAIG starts jumping. oh nah you and tweek always be flying like 300 feet into the air. so you and tweek always get craig back with a double jump. craig finally got to visit outer space that night😍.

doing your skincare for him. i feel like sometimes his anxiety makes him break out sometimes. so he comes over to your house to ask you for skin advice and for you to do his skincare! you were so excited when he asked you that like you were screaming and jumping!! tweek didn't really get the hype though🤨. first you started off with a cleanser, then a face mask. he didn't like the consistency off the face mask because it was slimey. he was like "what am i frog🙄🙄" "yes" after that you used some serums and moisturizers then you dried him off with a fan. bro was so tired and about to fall asleep until he saw you grab more boxes. "oh jesus christ what now" "nose strips and pimple patches duh🙄" tweek actually felt nice and relaxed after you were done. it became it weekly thing for you to do his skincare. but after a while he finally does it on his own everyday. he now has the most clearest skin!! thanks you to you ofc<3

so yk how tweek has his buttons all messed up on his shirt. sometimes they pop out due to his twitches so you always sew them back on just for him. but you've been sewing his buttons on for awhile and he quicky grasps the steps very easily. after a bit of practice he learned to sew his own buttons. anyways he wanted to learn a little bit more advanced things then just sewing buttons. so you taught him more! after a couple months he made so many things. like gloves, plushies, bags and much more. but his favorite thing to do is emborder his jeans and shirts. once you guys bought each other jeans and spent the whole night and morning embroidering little things and doodles about each other. i just think this is a cute little niche thing that he does. :)

baking coffee cupcakes with him is for sure a thing you guys do. he has a huge sweet tooth! i feel like older tweek is not trying to drink as much coffee since it's been damaging him since he was a kid😭. so he starts somewhere small. you suggest coffee cupcakes since he has a sweet tooth and he loves the idea. it still has coffee but not as much. he actually created the cupcake recipe and it turned out so good!! so don't be surprised when it's 4am and you get a message from tweek that says, "lets go to walmart and get stuff for coffee cupcakes." you say yes ofc because his cupcakes are so delicious!! once you guys get back from walmart. you guys put on your matching aprons and then start baking together. tweek is the cupcake expert here so you follow his instructions. whenever you mix and measure things tweek has to watch you because. one time you put the whole bottle of vanilla extract because you were talking to him and you didn't even notice. once you guys bit into those cupcakes...... you spat them back out cause they were so nasty. this time the cupcakes turned out delicious because tweek was monitoring you😭.

so i hc that craig loves space as much as stripe so going to the space museum. are definitely things that you guys love to do and always do. you guys always go once a month if not more!! whenever you guys to the space museum, you never fail to smile at craigs lit up face when he enters🤭. his favorite exhibit is the big shuttle that takes up the whole place. the first time you guys were there you snuck onto the shuttle and toured it. it was all going until you guys got caught by security. you tried to ditch them but y'all still got caught. you both flipped off security whenever they escorted you out🙄. his 2nd favorite exhibit is the star room. it's a projector that shows stars on the ceilings and all the planets are hanging in there. there's also old love music playing in the background. this exhibit is for couples but he don't care. every time it's empty you guys pull up and start slow dancing. only for a minute because every time you see craigs serious face you start laughing and he does too. you guys can't take anything seriously😭 .

you and craig always have photoshoots with your guinea pigs. ik this sounds childish but, you and craigs love for guinea pigs are unmatched😔🙌. craig always goes to your house for the photoshoots. some examples that you've guys done are astronauts, race car drivers, and barbie and ken! and these photoshoots turn out so good im not even kidding. the accessories and clothes are hand made by y'all ofc. and the backgrounds are painted by craig. you always take the photos. craig does too sometimes but they turn out blurry. "i can take the photos this time if you want" "NO ITS OK I'LL TAKE THEM" (craig always prints out the photos and tapes it to his walls.) once stripe and piggy are done you let them run around in their own play area. THESE ARE SPOILED GUINEA PIGS. they have a bunch of toys, mazes that they can go through and much more. you and craig got jobs just so you can support your children🙌. once their tired from playing around you guys always make them gourmet food. craig also bought them little tables and chairs so they can eat😭. you guys get the best lettuce and herbs for your guinea pigs. and yk they be eating good since they're a lil chunky. you and craig always chop up all the veggies and plate them up. in the end you guys are very responsible and loving parents.

whenever it's late at night and the stars are beautiful expect a message from craig saying: "MEET ME ON KROOFTOP RN STAQRS LOOOK PRETYYW😭" you meet up with craig so he can read astronomy books to you. BUT only when the stars are extra pretty. obviously craig owns all the astronomy books so he brings that and a flashlight! you on the other hand, you bring blankets and snacks! craig always reads while you just sit and listen. you never offer to read just so you can hear his voice more🤭. craig has a thing for lego's so he insists on inviting you whenever whenever the lego set he got was easy enough for you to build. if the set is advanced then he'll stick to building it himself and here's why. it was your first time building a lego set with craig. it was that big star wars starship model. it was all finished and craig was so proud he could cry. ohhh but he did cry whenever you dropped the starship model on the ground. • Vance is constantly getting into arguments with his teacher in one way or another. The only teacher that isn't on his ass is his English teacher which is his favorite. She's basically like a 2nd mother to him of course he'd never tell her that. He acts all tough in that class but the minute everyone leaves he somewhat dials it back when she tells Vance he did well today and he actually got a passing grade on one of his tests totally not projecting here

• Billys dogs name is Goldie

• when star wars was realesed Finney absolutely loved the movies and dragged Robin to see them with him

• Speaking of Vance he had a pretty rough childhood. I heard that he's a Canon mamas boy so I'm using that as well. He grew up with an abusive and alcoholic father who'd constantly abused him and his mom. He'd always tried to intervene and protect his mom causing him to get hurt. Afterwards his mother would just comfort him as best she could and tell that he shouldn't involve himself when his parents argued. His mom got so fed up with it that she left Vance and his dad when he was 8. She didn't want to leave him but she was so emotionally and mentally drained she just left on impulse. Vance doesn't exactly hate his mom for it cus he knows it probably would've been worse for her if she stayed, but a part of him does resent her for it and wonders sometimes why she couldn't just take him with her.

• the choker he wears was actually his mom's. it's the only thing he had that she left so it has pretty sentimental value.

• Vance has a 6 year old sister named Tara. When he went missing she was basically the only one looking for him. She'd go on her scooter after school everyday around the neighborhood and stay up late watching the news to see if she could get any information. Tara was up when the news stated he was found dead and cried knowing she'd never see her brother again.

Anyways sorry for the sad Vance hcs back to our regular scheduled programming

• Tara's just as foul mouthed and intimidating as her brother. The minute she talks it throws people off bc a little girl calling someone "fuckhead" is definitely something they weren't expecting. kicks anyone in the balls if they mess with Vance or his pinball machine. Gwen absolutely loves her and hangs out with her alot. She's basically like another older sibling for her. Whenever Vance is playing pinball she's either outside playing ball next to the Grab n Go or sitting next to him let's pretend there's a chair next to the pinball machine lol drawing in a coloring book.

• Vance refers to his dad as old man

• Vance love life is interesting to say the least. He doesn't feel like he needs a relationship but wouldn't mind having one.
