Notes: reader is GN but post mostly focuses on helob, written on mobile while fighting demons (sleepy, but theres people working on the roof) so expect some errors

BONDING

Sometimes you'll come with him to scour for strays who've wandered too far from their homes- if you're interested in helping him meal prep and run his little... trade business...

Otherwise the two of you spend time together by lingering around the edges of silk cradle- collecting other material and simply talking

He jokes... a lot... a lot a lot, he loves making you smile! You both sometimes go back and forth for a few hours until you decide to go home

JEALOUSY

He can get fairly jealous if someone is overstepping and trying to flirt with you

Though, you find that whoever you've been talking to goes missing after helob bares his fangs at them- though the only ones who go missing are usually the ones that make you uncomfortable...

Doesnt eat them but he does sell them to passerbys- hes got a business to run and hes sure the meat of these particular morsels will taste unpleasant

Not so much threatened but more so... it's hard to describe- he knows you won't leave them but he doesnt appreciate people making moves on you

LOVE LANGUAGE

He likes leaving bones for you, either straight up or crafted into an object of sorts

Perhaps a necklace or even a crown? Pretty, he believes! It'd only make you prettier than you already are!

It... shouldn't take long to figure out where the bones came from- though I like to think some are simply collected from random places, though they make up the minority

Sometimes uses his silk to make something for you as well! Give gifting is a huge thing for him!

On the flip side he loooves physical touch! Pet him, give him scritches under the chin, cup his face!

random thing but i wanted to say something i found interesting about helob. in the japanese translation of the game, helob uses the pronoun oira. which is basically a rural form of the masculine ore. which is usually used to indicate a country bumpkin type character.

which i guess implies he is like, a silk cradle equivalent of a hill billy or something. i just thought that was funny to note.

HELP?????? That goes completely against how I characterized him in my head and has now 100% rewritten him for me (overwhelmingly positive)

i hope you guys know that im using a wheel to build the fluff alphabet posts and ive been WAITING for the wheel to finally pick cotl yippie!! prompts: valentine, warrior, upset notes: reader is gn, reader is not in any cult, post mostly focuses on helob, written on mobile cws: canon typical violence and death as well as cannibalism

UPSET

It takes him a while to notice when you're upset but when he does he stops tending to the food hes preparing- will put silk over their mouth to keep them from interrupting

What's wrong lovey? Let Helob help you... did someone hurt his beautiful mate? Who? He will deal with them!

He has multiple sets of arms, he can give you more secure hugs... please dont cry :(

Will be personally offended on your behalf if someone said or did something to you- he will avenge you

WARRIOR

Usually there isnt a struggle when catching his meals- just one good bite from his fangs leaves the morsel paralyzed

However he wont stop you from jumping to his side to give him an extra set of hands- not that he needs them!

Wants to be a provider, you don't have to worry your pretty little head over him! Hes got it all handled!

VALENTINE

Assuming that it exists and/or there is an equivalent in the lands of the old faith, hes going to make some effort to impress you

Granted it may be... a little bloodier than you may be used to.. unless you're into that sort of thing!

He also makes a lovely dinner for the two of you to share together at his camp! Hes got the best cuts for tonight!

Just ignore the cries of those strung up in the trees... the simply add to the ambience!
