“Why don't you give it a try? You don't need to come up with a reason, you try things because you want to. Isn't that how you start doing things that you really like?” So, looking through my photos I realized I spent a lot of time hiding behind my veil. While this is beautiful and I still love my photos, it really showed how self-conscious I still was. I’m glad we were able to capture a couple where I was a little less shy. "Even if you're shy... You can always lend them your support in secret, you know." I just got photos back from my shoot with @yinyagami and I’m so happy!! I’m really bad at getting photos of my own costume, but I finally put myself out there and booked a shoot for this costume. It’s fitting, because this costume has also pushed me past my comfort zone with my body and confidence. While I’m not happy with everything of how I look, I felt confident in this costume, and proud of how far it’s come in a year since I first “finished” it.
