My friends ask me why I can’t play pool anymore
This is why 💀
This is all unpainted, 3D-printed via the Galactic Armory pattern. Used an Ender3 3D printer (since it’s super inexpensive but very hardy. It’s an amazing printer for someone who isn’t used to 3D printing yet)
Only the helmet and left handplate are sanded. The goggles were finished, but the arm snapped off so they’ll need to be reprinted (a soddering iron couldn’t fix it, so I’d rather it be reprinted to save its durability and appearance)
Tumblr media
Printed this as well, sorry for the fancy portrait of Tech’s butt here

This is me in it, plus a bonus rotation animation I did to try and help my muscle memory (and get a feel for anything that might need to be fixed in the Galactic Armory pattern). 3D model reference found at Cults3d.com (The Bad Batch Tech helmet model)
I’ll hopefully be posting my progress on here! I’m super new to cosplaying so this is quite the undertaking for what’s basically a first project 💀 So much thanks to my dad for helping me with this I could not do it without him

He so sunburned
My super amazing husband wanted to print me a sun mask and has worked his butt off trying to do so. This is mark 2! (Mark one is a Frisbee with rays, the printer got very confused) we ran out of white halfway through so he got pink
Otherwise he looks great! We're going to try again after modifying it a little more

Still printing out the one for the right hand then I'll spray primer and paint on the hands and arm cones

Got the pin backings on the pilot pin, using locking backs so they'll stay on the hat

Got the bulbs in for the headband

Then I painted and varnished a pair of docs

I 3D printed Isobel Thorm’s spear from Baldur’s Gate 3!
Tumblr media
The spear head was printed on a Bambu Lab A1 with eSun PLA, STL by Ultima Props on Cults 3D.
The staff part is a pine dowel from Home Depot (it's a little warped unfortunately), and I "engraved" the designs using my rotary tool. The 3D printed pieces were connected with a 1/4" threaded rod which runs about a foot down into the wooden dowel, so it's fairly sturdy. Overall height is about 72"!

Oops I meant to post this months ago, but uhhhhh here we are. Have you ever thought "wow it would be fun to 3d print Siffrin's dagger"? Maybe you have, maybe you haven't, but regardless you can now!
With the help of a very cool friend and Kazehita's Siffrin ref sheet, we were able to make a model of Siffrin's dagger for my cosplay, and we want to share it with the world! It's great for cosplay, or just fidgeting with it while you try to not break character and sob during the entirety of act 6 during a voice acted playthrough(not speaking from personal experience at all)
I painted mine with Tamiya spray paint, TS88 for the blade and TS38 on the blade guard and ending ball thingy. Semi gloss clear on the blade, full gloss on everything else. Just got some cheap leather at Jo-Ann(RIP) and some glue to wrap the handle.
If you print and paint this, please tag me or send photos, I would love love love love to see your takes on it!!!!

This is the first 3d printer project we've done to make it to photography.
We used the print base to sculpt on with thermal plastic, then painted and beaded.

Got myself a neat new toaster ✨
[Please excuse this shitty picture on my messy ass desk. It’s not bloodazzled yet, but I finished it and was so so so proud that I finally did that and I wanted to show it off :) ]
[Don’t @ me for choosing the default green colour, I have this sickness called "Green is my favourite colour". Maybe I’ll do some other colour variations some time, I particularly like the rusted options…we‘ll see ~ ]
[For anyone wondering: Yes, that’s the same battery built I’ve shown off before. It attaches inside the ESOP via magnets, and while it does that it’s also holding down on a switch that is responsible for making that little light [of mine] shine :>]
