Kamtoga, Krux and Grant are gay pt.1

Not enough people (me) talk about the homo subtext of Krux and Kamtoga’s relationship...

So I will!

Everyone refers to Kamtoga as "the spectrobe master's partner". Everyone remembers him being the partner to the guy. Kamtoga himself speaks as if he was a type of support to Krux, apparently never calling himself a Spectrobe master. Their relationship was definitely more sentimental than just there for a shared mission. Kamtoga can't see himself going on to get another battle partner after the loss of Krux despite having access to the cosmolink in Wyterra?

Every time Kamtoga mentions him, he gets so sad, so affected. He sighs and avoids getting too deep about it. "He... is no more." (This grief is partially what keeps Jeena and Rallen from questioning him further about who this spectrobe master was. Others seem to not have known him as deeply as Kamtoga did. Villagers mentioned that Krux always seemed a little mysterious).

That one flashback scene in Kogoeria, where Krux thinks Kamtoga was dead. Krux looks like he straight up cried, (in the books he is described as holding back tears), and Kamtoga mentions in game how that's the only time he's seen Krux get that "emotional". No doubt that it shook them both. This might be why Krux was so determined to get some leverage on krawl (and it's definitely why Kamtoga was projecting his guilt on Rallen lmao)...

Rallen finally hits commander rank and Jeena gets her pilot’s license and builds her own Prizmod using the dual-console technology from the Cosmolink in Origins so that she can fight alongside him as a Spectrobe Master in her own right (you can pry Jeena as a playable character from my cold dead hands)

Hmm thinking about!! Spectrobes and Fate.

Krux being self-sacrificial multiple times: when saving Grant from the exploding ship, then later wanting to use the krawl source.

The terrible irony of Grant being a type of catalyst to Krux's undoing, having both discovered the krawl source and later command the battle against him. Yet, he's helpless to stop Krux himself.

Kaio being like an uncaring God to Krux's pleads. The Kaio shards glowing red being a warning of catastrophe and that catastrophe being Krux.

Kamtoga being the figurative ancestor to Rallen, as both wore the same cosmolink... yet Jeena, who wears the other cosmolink, is more like Grant, not Krux. She does have high ideals but is very much ruled by logic.

Younger Krux- the Krux people knew- might be dead, yet the people that knew him support and guide the new Spectrobe Masters.
