Tral was celebrating. The night before he had gone out with Eiki. They had been eating pancakes when they had both heard back about their job applications. Eiki had taken him to a bar but the young black mage refused to drink. He didn’t enjoy losing control. They ended up at an all you can eat 24 hour breakfast buffet and he had eaten the most pancakes he ever had in a single day. He had eaten blueberry, chocolate chip, peanut butter, strawberry, plain with maple syrup and finished with pecan with whipped cream.

Today he was walking around the Mermaid Cove Mall handing out cards advertising for the Radiale Metro Library. This wasn’t his job. He had been hired as an archivist, but he was so excited he couldn’t help but share his joy by bringing awareness to the public library.

He saw another person up ahead. He hurried towards them and held out a card to them. “Please be sure to visit the Radiale Metro Library in the Fibonacci Ward. I can personally vouch for its facilities.”
