I will admit that I personally fall under the "favorite because of ships" thing with Blixer. I personally ship with Barracuda (I have no clue why, I just said, "Oh well, they're both my favorite, I'll just ship them") and I just had a whole vision about it of them having a 'evil villain x second in command' type of relationship, but I do try to be different from what the fandom is used to, like making Blixer's reason to corrupt the land to be just "I saw you being happy and it annoyed me so I ruined your whole lives lol"

I LIVE for bastard bosses. They're so fun and charismatic, like the classic evil villain that you're supposed to hate, but it's so charming that ends up becoming your favorite, and I feel like the fandom could use more evil or even cartoonishly evil bosses [nothing wrong with one not doing so!! Everyone is free to do whatever they want and are able to give them depth and sympathy, and a lot of folks do that amazingly, but a little bit of spiciness wouldn't hurt]

And as for Cublix, I gotta admit that it's not really my cup of tea as well, mostly because a lot of times it can come off as uhhhh misogynistic(? I know that none of them have a canonical gender but it bothers me that almost the whole time Cube is a girl, which really icks me. Why are you ONLY making Cube a girl, why is everyone else a guy, why is Cube the only woman, is it because the character is sensitive, is it because they're crying almost the whole time. I swear that a lot of times, people write Blixer and Cube's relationship like those extremely questionable fanfics of Y/N x Mafia Boss one would find in Wattpad at the age of thirteen [again, no shame to the ones who see Cube as a girl, you're free to do whatever you want, even you see her as shy. However, if you won't give her any depth besides being Blixer's girlfriend, if she's literally the only woman in the entire thing and if you reduce her to be sexualized (which sadly I've seen it) then that can come off as icky and misogynistic]

I don't think I've ever actually mentioned it here, but their relationship is no fairy tale, ofc it got incredibly better after the main events but still

But during the events of the game they don't really get along,My fic follows the game a lot (up to a certain point),And in the game Blixer is not at all friendly with cube so you can already get an idea

If you pay attention to what I say about corruption, you know that it drives people crazy and Blixer is no exception.

It's not going to be that story where Blixer is going to try to save Cube from the tree or something like that.
