Dear Master Neloth,
I come forward with an inquiry about your travels. You mentioned having been to Apocrypha in the late Second Era, and I must ask: did you meet Mistress Dratha in Vos around this same time? Did you know of her deal for immortality?
What else of the Second Era do you know? I’m simply curious.
- The Vestige, Skylar Ashwing
Every Telvanni Magister who has ever served on the Council knew of Dratha’s deal for immortality. She was the oldest living Councilor at my time of serving, only surpassed in age by Divayth Fyr. Immortality is the highest achievement any Telvanni could hope for, and something I myself strive to attain. I do not know the specifics of Dratha’s achievement, of course, as that is something she has always been rather tight-lipped about. Just as I keep my own research on the matter under lock and key.
If you have anything you might be willing to share, I would, of course, reward you handsomely.
No, I did not meet her in the second era, but I was well-acquainted with her in the third, during my time on the Council...much to the annoyance of us both. I made sure to deal with her face to face as little as possible. She had an unshakable prejudice against men which made consorting with her unbearable.
‘What else of the second era do you know?’ Have you any idea how broad and vague your question is? There is no way for me to answer it. If you’re looking for specific information, then ask it. Otherwise do not waste my time.

Archmagister Neloth,
My apologies. It is not often I meet someone older than myself shy of daedra, and I forgot my manners. I do not wish to waste your time, it was just a momentary lapse in judgement.
As for Mistress Dratha, well, I have quite the story of how she gained her immortality, as I had a hand in giving it to her. She requested the gathering of several coldfire stones, if my memory serves me correctly, and used them to bind a servant of the Lord of Lies to her, just long enough to strike a deal. She became immortal, but the Xivkyn would appear at any moment disguised as a man to kill her. Also explains her hatred of men.

How easily you give away information! You've proven yourself to be quite useful.
If Dratha is still alive out there and this Xivkyn hasn't come calling for her soul, this is excellent leverage. Though I'm rather disappointed at how unremarkable her deal is. Anyone could make a deal with a Daedra for immortality. I'm sure I could bargain with Mora for such a thing with the proper exchange. I prefer to uncover a method that doesn't so easily rely on the charity of Daedra.
Considering your age and apparent...lack of a soul to steal, I might task you with more information retrieval in the future, should you be amicable to such an arrangement. For a reward, of course.
