"what is the difference between a stance and a rekka" deranged fgc questions im seeing this morning. what isn't clicking. these are not the same thing? they are completely different concepts . Is the difference

#crow.txt #stance moves. you enter. the requisite stance first. in order to use the move. and after using it usually leave the stance #unless there is some kind of stance extension/other stance where you can use Another separate stance move #a hallmark of stance characters/moves is being unable to use the same move pool from a single stance consecutively #or even usually in the same combo #under normal circumstances at least. theres stuff like kagura OD that lets you use stance moves as long as it isnt 2 5d moves in a row #stances only really have.. one input that i can think of. as opposed to multiple like rekkas #meanwhile rekkas are typically a repeated input either combo of button and motion or Just button or just motion with different button #you implicitly cant use moves from the middle/end of rekka chains on their own (like ragnas inferno divider or naotos inferno crusader)#correction. meant banishing fang for naoto #stance moves typically have no such restrictions its just Be In The Stance #you cant use the mixup high or low kicks from ms fortunes rekka unless her head is off iirc? and even then its only the overhead(?) kick #why are we discussing the difference between lobster and skittles. these are competely separate terms #sorry i had to make a post bc i couldnt accost anyones dms with this wjtjjsnf
