Mari smiled to herself as she walked down the sidewalk. “Its beautiful out!" she said cheerfully, looking up at the sky. There wasn’t a cloud in sight, allowing the pilot to fully enjoy the sunshine. 

Mari was on her way to a small tea parlor. Tea was without a doubt her favorite beverage, and while she did grow her own tea leaves (and thus she brewed her own tea), this particular location had many interesting flavor combinations and small cakes to sample. “Hopefully they aren’t too crowded today!” she said to herself as she went on her way.

It then occurred to the brunette that someone was sitting by themselves on the sidewalk, near the edge of the road. It was a girl, and to Mari’s eyes, she looked lonely and downcast. “Hey, what’s the matter?” Mari asked, pausing beside her. “You’re not hurt, are you?”
