Mammon was aware of some magic being placed on them. At first, they had no idea what had happened, so they had complained to tumblr about something being weird. And then Dev had replied.

The first thing the infant noticed was how much attention they paid to the fact that the supposed demon had replied. And then his body began to hurt.

"Hgh." They clutched their chest and tried to breath.

"Oiiiii, baby, what's up? This another prank?" Bel called from his bed, though he looked vaguely concerned.

"Sh-shut up..." God damn it hurt. And Mammon felt themself getting more irritated that it was Bel asking, and not Dev.  "I'm leaving for a while."

"What?"

"You heard me!"

With that, the illusionist teleported out of the mansion and away from everyone else.
