Last few waking hours in #lisboa and I was determined to make the best of it. After lounging in my exquisite room at @corposantohotel, ordering room service, enjoying my #vinho, views, and chocolates, I was ready for one last outing. #corposantohotel has their #christmastree in their lobby. So lovely! Admired the magnificent giant Christmas tree in #pracodocomercio, as well as the lit up streets around the city. Made my way back to #clubedefado to see my new dear friend, @leitao.henrique and bathe myself in the soulful sounds of #fado one last time. Such a memorable and perfect ending to a truly perfect journey through #portugal. Muito Obrigada to everyone I met. So incredibly grateful for everything I got to see, hear, taste, touch, feel, and experience (minus my car challenges!!), and I know I have so much more to explore in this glorious country. Upon my second arrival at #corposantohotel in #lisboa today, I was taken to this room as a surprise. I feel SO LOVED by EVERYONE (except my GPS) in Portugal!! How can I be so lucky?? I have been a Princess for the past 8 days. You have no idea how good my heart has felt since coming to this country. A few notable mentions in addition to every staff member being so kind and professional: Edgar (doorman) who so happily greeted me with a smile every day, helped me with my bags, and took care of parking my car. Eduardo (doorman) for being my technology angel and saving me from going insane. Diana (front desk) who so patiently took care of my many questions and needs. Hugo (food & beverage) who welcomed me each night at happy hour with a full description of the wine/port and appetizer. Christopher (food & beverage) who made sure I was fed and happy every morning at breakfast. Diana, Victoria, and Beatriz (guest services) who take guests on excellent and informative walking tours of Lisboa, as well as helping me plan my trip, secure reservations, and create itineraries for my days here. And you, Pedro, you are the shining star by which your staff is guided. You lead by example, going above and beyond by providing five-star customer service to all who stay at the Corpo Santo Hotel as your guests.
