Brittanie is a forensic pathologist at the New Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office; located in Mid-City.

Lives in the Lakeview suburb of NOLA.

Brittanie is a t a u r u s -- the bull; like the animal that represents them, is all about strength, stamina and will. Stubborn by nature, the Taurus will stand his/her ground to the bitter end (sometimes even irrationally so). But that's okay because the Taurus is also a loving, sympathetic and appreciative sign. The Taurus is very understanding and when we need someone to unburden ourselves to, we often share our deepest fears with the Taurians of the zodiac. My parents were there for me 100% of the way, and helped look after Kent so I could continue on with my dream of being a medical examiner. Even now, my parents watch Kent when my shifts tend to go well into the night. I’d probably die if we actually lived in the same part of the city, but I’m grateful that I’m not alone in the city. Not that one is ever alone in New Orleans; the city is like a friend who’ll never leave you.”

When Brittanie was pregnant with her first child, her baby’s daddy decided it was a good idea to rob a bank to support his family. He succeeded in robbing the bank, but during the robbery, he killed five people. Though he was caught pretty quickly after the robbery, the bank never did recover the money. And he never copped to where the money went or the fact that Brittanie was in on the robbery from the get-go. She was the one who did all the planning, the one who turned her ex in to the police, and the one who hid the money. And Brittanie’s done a hell of a job making sure she was never traced back to the crime.
