As someone who emphasizes just how badly Joker was treated in the interrogation room and the effect it left on him, thoughts on Makoto wanting to become a cop? As well as Joker's thoughts on it. He loves his friends dearly, but do you think even a little bit of him is frustrated with her for it?
ooh hmmmmm... Thats tough for me cause the difference between american and japanese police is quite significant- and not one I grasp well, but I'll try.
I think... it would boil down to quiet disappointment. An inner conflict of "Makoto's a good person" vs "Good cops either aren't cops for long or aren't good for long." that would relent to a growing distrust and them ultimately growing apart. "You are still my friend, but I don't think I can trust you like I used to." and that causing a significant rift. A.. reversed bond, doubt, if you would.
You can't take the vigilante out of the Joker, I think- so he's always going to try and do the right thing, law be damned. So should they come to conflict- I think the ultimatum'd be "Your friends or your country, Nijima" and I can see her choosing her career over doing the right thing by Joker- no matter how much she might want to do the contrary.. Largely because if she's choosing to take after her father and sister, I think she'd also have the equivalent potential to relapse on what she'd've learned from her time as a PT.
It's an odd choice to make her a police commissioner, honestly. I figured she'd either be a politician or something more independent.. Heck, I would have pegged her to be a mechanic to go along with her biker theme... but, ah well, it happened to Chie too- so it's not toooo surprising.
#Anonymous#Of all the PTs I always thought that Makoto would be the first to grow away from the group#She's never been as voracious as the others in terms of being social and her bonds with everone (sans futaba) seem kind of weak#in terms of probability of growing away from PT social circle I rank them like this Makoto-> Haru->Yusuke->Ann-> Futaba->Ryuji->Morgana->Re#Ann only ranks so high because her job and goals could pull her too far away to keep her bonds healthy#Ren & Ryuji and/or Morgana are bonded at the hip sorry#Digit's P5R Tag

The museum collab outfit?
so glad you asked now i can finally dump all the info i gathered for a good reason
during the LNY stream, a few minutes? after they revealed the biker chen skin they dropped this along with my jaw: a collab with the Nanyue King Museum that lasted not even 2 weeks lol (prob because LNY started from the 10th this year aka everything closes)
tl;dr historical museum/mausoleum in guangzhou (the closest china has to HK) with a lot of artifacts, and the collab highlights a few
the original PV for it if you want to hear some guy say how the tiger hook perfectly covers up the broken part of the jade dragon ornament and it looks like theyre fighting like a certain two and that they complement each other
i typed out a transcript so i could tl it and the lin commentary in..due time also here's a vlog from bili to live vicariously through
what lin commentary you ask. incidentally i also saw people asking 'why is Lin even in this the PV just kept mentioning tigers and dragons' well ok remember how her profile mentions she's a Yanese art history nerd enthusiast... there are qr codes on-site you can scan that will being you to a microsite? and they got her CN VA to narrate the descriptions!!! with comments!!!!!! here's a quick TL i did the other day as an example
so yea... she's basically the tour guide 🥹🥹🥹
chenswire and linchen photospots, why did they put swire all by her lonesome at the mausoleum
so. they had a small merch lineup for those who couldnt make it (half/ 3/4 body acrylic stands like the mooncake collab) but there is also a notebook....
WITH CONCEPT ART? OF THE OUTFITS INSIDE... they mention it in the video but they incorporated the artifacts into the design which is so so cool (their outfit silhouettes? are also based on tang-dynasty clothes iirc) BUT ALSO SEE... CHEN WITH PANTS.... i think she could lose one of the twintails but that's not important here so yeah cool historical-fantasy outfit with baggy pants vs cop outfit with funny tied up shirt and skin tight pants... no contest
#arknights#bentoask#legofrans#chenposting#the collab's long over but i still want to visit the museum because i love old shit and they seem to have english descriptions over there

In this house we KNOW Jason Voorhees did nothing wrong
we watched Jason 2 last night- I'm sorry Friday the 13th part II is too long a title, they're about Jason being a very good boy so they're called Jason movies. Period.- and now I kinda want to watch all of them. Except that crappy one. Where he's Corey Feldman's character all grown up and he thinks he's Jason? And there's this really weird keystone cops vibe to the whole thing? Idk. That ones bad.
But the best one - besides Jason in Space and Jason vs Freddy- is the one where the kids are at camp and these children have hilarious glorious lines like "what did you want to grow up to be?" Bc they just accept that Jason is going to murder them too.
Without looking anything up, I'm pretty sure I can do all the Jason movies. Let's go:
Momma voorhees. Great sweater, excellent momBob, and you get to see Kevin Bacons Bits if you know when to pause the movie. 3.75 stars. Not funny, kinda off vibes
Jason in a bag. He's a very clumsy boy, falls off a whisker chair, is confused by a small dog (who does not die!), and is hit by a car like twice. He only kills like what 6 people on screen? And we get BEST final girl Ginny, who takes a chainsaw to our soft prince, and mind mojos him to think his momma is alive. 5 outta 5 stars! Some nice boobs, creep dies strung up like the perv his is and Jason is mu sweetest baby boi.
Behold, a hockey mask. Much better for peripheral and way more sensibly than a FUCKING BAG! Jason finds a house with stupid horny teens- or college kids? I'm never certain- and another with a newly divorced mom, her slightly sassy daughter and a young monster obsessed Corey Feldman. Pretty good kills, the dog laters out to go join a wolf pack (run by muffin obs), and Corey Feldman gives himself a bad haircut to bond with our big headed hero,Jason. 4.25 outta 5. Funny, more agile Jason, and I had no sympathy for the college idiots who died epically.
The fucking worst. I think they were trying for a Legacy Jason bc he definitely "died" in 3. So elder teen Corey Feldman thinks he's Jason and at the POORLY run TROUBLED TEEN camp he goes to someone starts killing folks. I vaguely remember the actual killer but... who cares. This is the worst. 1 star.
Again w all adulted Corey (reminder not thr actor but the character, but who bothers to remember their names?) Digs up Jason's body, it gets struck by lightning and He's Back! I think this is the one with the biker gang. And the sheriff's daughter has a taste for danger and breaks not-corey out to defeat Jason. 2.5 stars. I think there was an rv death? But a fun scene in a barn!
Jason's not dead, just napping and when he ends up in a morgue his heart infects a doctor who becomes... jason...? It's odd. You guys remember Nightmares on Elm st dream Child? I think it's like that. 2 stars. Fucked if I remember anything from this movie. This is where I get a little shaky
Jason back at camp baby! I think this is the one with the funny kids. And it's just a really straight forward slasher. No lore, no stupid shit just bad counselors getting what they deserve for not watching children. 3.9 stars. Best part is the kids
Jason on a boat. He was in Manhattan for like 10minutes. He kills a kid with a guitar, and the inside of boats are very dangerous. No lore. 3.75 stars
Is there a Jason 9? I don't fucking know but I do know there's...
Jason in SPAAAACEE! And it's amazing. A ship full of med students find Jason cryogenically frozen and a woman as well. They defrost both, murder hijinx ensue. Jason becomes a cyborg. And they completely miss shooting him into the sun. It's so stupid and so good and I love my son! 5 billion stars! Lore? Who needs lore when you've got a cyborg jason?!
Jason vsFreddy. The best team up full stop. With Jason's relentless desire to punish bad teens and Freddy's pervy ass? Forget about it. Nice lore, and the addition of seeing how happy Jason is in his death is perfection. 5 outta 5 stars. Look yes, Jason's gonna kill you, he'll have fun with it, but he won't sexually assault you while doing it.
conclusion: the middle ones suck. Skip them. Watch 2, 3, Jason in Space and Jason vs Freddy.

"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
Season 1 Episode 3: “The Good, The Bad And The Ugly”
“After Nolan and Talia lose control of a crime scene, they begin to debate whether people are fundamentally good or bad; Lucy worries Tim is enabling his wife’s destructive behavior and not taking care of himself".
Original Air Date: October 30, 2018
Directed By: Greg Beeman
Written By: Liz Alper & Ally Seibert
Might as well jump into it, shall we?!
I really love how much action that this show has in it and throughout the episode as well. I mean if you are going to have a show about being a cop, might as well make it as realist as possible. Calls like the ones that Talia and John were on is what real life officers respond to on a daily basis. I haven’t watched many cop shows, but the ones that I have watched, this one is by far the most realistic portrayal of the police force! As much action as this show has, it also has a sense of calmness as well (if that is the right word for it!) Hence the ending scene of our favorite trio on the beach.
I really like the healthy balance of the work vs personal life of the main characters. We see who they are while they are in uniform and on duty but let us get to know who they are and how they act when they do take their work belt and badge off. We are getting to see more of that as each episode airs.
It’s good to see Tim in a uniform again, and I think everyone in the station feels the same way!! As of this episode, we really don’t know what happened in Tim’s life that made him want to be a cop, but he really was born to be one. His looks, attitude, demeanor, it all screams “cop”, but in the best way. I want to know so so much more about Tim’s life and what happened that made him choose this career path.
Who is Wade Grey?! I still don’t know!!! All we have seen of Grey so far is him catching attitude with Nolan. So to see him in a different light, while talking to a fellow cop that he likes and respects makes us start to warm up to him. In this episode, we learn through his conversations with Tim that he has this whole past life of being in the force that not even some of his officers know about. As they are learning, so are we and I feel that there is much more to know and like about Wade Grey, I can’t wait to find out!
Tim and Lucy back together and back on the patrol and why not start the day off with a ‘Tim Test’ because that’s what Tim does best and Lucy is quite receptive to the tests yet and especially this one. Tim knew exactly what he was doing and all Lucy wanted to do was use the bathroom; but because of how brilliant Tim is as a T.O, no matter where you are as an officer, you can never have your guard down. The ridicule is cut short when Tim receives a mysterious phone call. We don’t know from him but it jolts him. His demeanor instantly shifts, and not for the better.
Tim and Lucy end up in the hospital, as we find out it’s because of Isabel. Tim becomes a shell of himself when it comes to Isabel. This is the second time we see her on our screens and the effect that she has on Tim is palpable. His voice cracks, the tears start to well up in his eyes, he is desperate and pleading. His wife is in front of him yet she might as well be 10,000 miles away because she isn’t really “his wife” anymore at this point, is she.
All that Tim has wanted for the past year is to find her and he finally did, but is it enough? Its obvious that she didn’t want to be found so how is Tim feeling about that? His frustration is growing by the second hence his fist through the wall.
I think Lucy is justified in her anger towards Tim and in the situations that he has been putting her in this episode/day. Tim is spiraling, hard and fast. He is beyond frustrated with his current situation with Isabel and is taking it out and train it too far with the biker gang that they respond too. Lucy is left helpless to just watch Tim beat these guys while simultaneously getting beaten himself. This is not the T.O that she originally had and her hands are tied until Lucy offers to help Isabel instead of Tim because she knows it’s the best thing that she can do for him in that moment. Tim has been having an inner crisis this entire episode and Lucy sees it. Tim wants his wife back.
Lucy went into the apartment for Tim to help Isabel but in hindsight, is Isabel the one that helped Lucy? Isabel starts to give Lucy a small bit of history between Tim and herself and their relationship. This new info is just the beginning for the friendship that is to come between Tim and Lucy; but it also makes Lucy start to see Tim in a different light…maybe as an actual person and not just her hardass T.O.
The silence in the car between them is deafening. This is the first time that we see Tim opening up to Lucy about his personal life and Lucy is very receptive to it as well. There is so much that is wanted to be said when Lucy gets back in the car yet what really is there to say except for the fact that maybe Lucy is exactly the person that Tim needed to enter his life in this exact moment for Tim to start becoming himself again. Tim is genuinely thankful for Lucy and in what she just did for him.
If Talia was good for one thing this season it was spitting the facts regarding being a cop. Out of the three T.O, I believe Talia has been the most insightful regarding the actual teachings of an officer. A patrol police officer is more than just patrolling, it is about reading people and situations, the protocols and the black & white of the job. I like the way she teaches all of that to Nolan. We see it lacking in the teachings of Tim and Angela, that’s okay because it will all eventually come full circle. Nolan is trying to see the good in everyone whereas Talia knows better. Yes she’s human and feels for people, but at the end of the day she’s there to do the job. Nolan is still very green to being an officer. This is the very first time he’s being held by gunpoint by a criminal. His first instinct is to talk her down and it works because Talia catches her off guard and tases her. John has tried to see the good in every single person in this episode whereas Talia sees the bad in them.
As of this episode, we still aren’t getting a lot from Jackson and Angela; which is fine because I know their moments are coming. We have insight into Lucy and John but not so much from Jackson yet. The Angela and Jackson scenes almost feel as if they are scene fillers and an afterthought. I want to know more about the both of them, give me something! I just don’t feel like anything I have to say about them right now is good enough for me to do a deep dive about it. I just feel like the conversations were very fluff filled and nothing very deep and personal.
The roll call scenes throughout these first few episodes and in this one are cool to see. It makes you wonder if this is what actually happens in the beginning of the work day and through it as well in a real life precinct. It’s a nice way of having everyone in the same room at the same time, while also still showing the individual storylines happening as well for all of our favorite characters!
__________________________________________________________
Honorable Mention: Lucy’s Work Belt
Episode Peak: Isabel.
Episode Pit: Still Nolan’s hair. I am sorry, I can’t stand his S1 hair!
Quote of the Episode: “See, your problem is that you think that people are inherently good, but you're wrong. People are good when it's easy. When push comes to shove, everyone crosses the line” ~ Talia Bishop
Episode Rating: 8/10. This episode started to show the cracks in Tim’s personal life, which is exactly what we all needed to see. The lack of Angela and Jackson is getting to me, I really want to know more about both of them in their personal and professional lives.
______________________________________________________________
I hope you guys are enjoying reading this just as much as I am enjoying watching and blogging about it! Again, I really want to know and hear your thoughts and opinions on not only my post but about the episode as well! I truly love interacting with all of you guys!! Thank you again for everyone for continuing to read all of my posts! You don't have to but yet you are still here!

Just in a mood to recite some Ryan Parker moments I like for some reason back when I watched NP [which is only during NP 2.0].
I definitely won't sort them in order of when these moments happened, 'cause I have no clue when some of these moments happened in the hours upon hours of content.
While hunting after the man that killed George- a Lost MC biker- with Cat and Paddy, Cat got Ryan to think up a safe word in case Ryan somehow got found by this guy and were about to be in trouble, to which they decided the safe word would be ~princess~.
Another moment connected to the one above was how Ryan would be driving up and down the highway- 'cause the murderer was the Highway Man or something I don't quite remember- on his war Banshee. Some cops were undercover in a truck- trying to investigate this same murder- and were surprised when Ryan of all people are driving quickly up to them, making sure whoever drove the truck was okay as this Highway Man (I think) were also targetting truck drivers.
Another another moment connected to the two above was how- after finally the Lost got that Highway Man with the help of Dundee- Ryan wanted to torture the guy with a god damn lockpick. 'Cause listen, my man's usually a pacifist that rarely uses guns or weapons, but he will fuck you up if you fucked with those he considers family.
Ryan and OTT being trauma brothers friends after the Lost MC vs CKR war, considering they both got kidnapped and tortured by the opposite side in a war neither of them wanted to be a part of but had to be a part of. Also how- during the time the Lost needed mats [materials] for stuff and OTT had a fuckton of it- OTT would only sell his mats to Ryan (in the Lost).
Irwin Dundee helping Ryan get out of the Lost compound ('cause he was accidentally locked in and were starting to panic) after the Yellowjack meeting between the Lost MC and CKR- that happened riiight before that war started.
Rudi standing up for Ryan- during the job interview to become Matthew Payne's assistant- after months of either blaming Ryan for the war (between Lost MC and CKR) or just not wanting to be near him. It was just really nice and satisfying. That and how Ryan ended up knocking out his competitor after (I think) Matthew said the two should have a fight to see who gets the job.
While they were driving their motorcycles after the speeches in the funeral (to the Lost MC bikers that died during that war I keep mentioning), Reid asked Ryan if he wanted to say a speech too back there. Ryan answered how he did want to, but he didn't want to upset Rudi, so he opted against it. And then Reid just telling him how he should've done it anyways, even if it would've upset Rudi. Idk, just the husbandos being comforting to eachother is always so nice to watch.
Also, Ryan and Reid just driving together in the most ridicolous car the former has [station wagons, drift wagons, small but fast cars, etc.] to "train" new cops in driving pursuits, which will include fun bantering and singing to whatever 2000s pop song they got.
Ryan, Gazz and Lucy's "SHOW ME YOURS TINTS" line when the three decided to go and have some fun doing small crimes together to try not to worry too much about Reid being in the ICU.
Ryan just being drunk with his friends- Erin, Vivi and Luther- and singing pop songs after finding the dreaded E G G.
Ryan doing some racing while Rudi was sitting passenger, to which the latter would encourage the former to spin out the other racers or just make them crash (which Ryan ofc didn't do).
Ryan winning (or getting 2nd place, I can't quite remember) a race despite 1. All of his tires being popped by spikestrips, and 2. Some cop cars being behind him, trying to make his car stop (to no avail).
Watching most gangs just treat Ryan nicely 'cause they either like him as a person, like him as a business man/old lady of the Lost, or just don't want to piss off the businesses he's part of/the Lost and other gangs that like him.
Honestly, anytime Ryan's racing or trying to escape cops is fun as hell to watch.
Can't think of anything else atm, but I might add on more moments when I remember them 🚶

October Horror Movies - Day 1 Theme: Aliens - Film Chosen: Killer Klowns From Outer Space
Overall score: 7.5 silly straws used to drink human goo
It was definitely worth rewatching.
I think what makes this a horror movie is predominantly the design of the clowns. Those fucked up little freaks are weird looking but also super expressive for a clown mask. There's something deeply unsettling about their design.
This also works as a comedy horror.
Starting off strong with a fuckin theme song
What other horror movies have their own theme songs?
The cop knew there was mischief happening tonight because he saw a dude carrying a couple sacks of beer
Who the fuck is rolling up in a fucking ice cream truck to The Top Of The World make out point
“A tasty treat for while you screw”
This guy's got a raft in his car
Comet comes. Farmer is the first to die. Y'all ready know “I love the circus” he says, moments from death
Weird shaped clown shadow. Poo bear 😭
Fuck. I love these costumes. There's just so much detail.
A cop beating up a couple queer coded punks. What else is new
Hero cop, bad cop
Main make out characters find the circus. He wants to check it out. She does not. This was her idea to begin with!!
What a fuckin set design. Absolutely love the inside of the spaceship.
Does he know the code off the top of his head or did the clowns let him into the reactor core?
Bad guy's coming, let's use another door. Cotton candy cocoons with people inside. That's the pantry of the ship
Popcorn gun
The humans get away and the clowns look at each other. Those people are gonna be hunted.
These clowns are fucking great. They all have their own walk and everything. These are professionals.
Cotton candy cocoons. You know, cocoons?!
Ding ding ding ding ding they said the name of the movie at 22:58
Are there only two cops in town??? Why does this late 30 something year old cop wanna fuck a teenager so bad?
The clown in the pharmacy just investigating everything and making a huge fucking mess. This makes me realize that the clowns came to town to study their prey
Clown bike vs gang of bikers. Ends with biker getting his head punched clean off his shoulders
No but for real, who is Debbie to officer Dave??? How old are she and Mike?
Good job Mooney. Getting calls all night about evil clowns from all over town and assuming it's nothing but a prank
Clown carried bag of popcorn. Other guy has popcorn gun. what are popcorn???
Shadow puppets! Bunny to George Washington to holy shit that t rex shadow puppet just ate those people
There are clowns and they are killing people
If these goons can run an ice cream truck then so can I
Mooney arrests a clown. Mooney gets his.
I want pink cotton candy faux spider webs ALL OVER my house
The clown exploded when his nose got shot off in a blast of glitter. I like that
They've got a cotton candy cocoon harvester that, is arguably the coolest design ever. It is a parade float where do the streamers come from. There's so many clowns.
One big earring, one little. What a style. Love to see it.
Clown worms. They found Debbie for her crimes.
The fact that apparently at least one of the clowns can mimic human voices makes me immediately think of skinwalkers
The clowns hiding their space ship at the carnival is genius. But that implies that people go in and out of it all day? Are they putting on shows for the humans or something? And occasionally eating them?
Clown car gag!!! Again, the props in this movie are stunning. That's plywood and it looks like paper bowls
That guy got COVERED in cream pies. Dream role. Omg the cherry on top. Iconic.
They're hypothesizing where they came from and why the clowns are here.
Ooh I gotta push a button. Goons end up in clown porn
Using a silly straw to drink blood
What set design
Another door???
GMC beats space ship
The clowns are fascinated by the ice cream truck. Ice cream guys fucked clown girls
Master clown boss battle
Cop sacrifices himself. Clowns getting ready for takeoff
Dave survived and brought the ice cream boys
“Do you think it's over”
“Yeah sure”
*Gets pied*
*Roll credits*

Well if we're talking armor we want kevlar and hardshell biker shit or something.
If we're talking cost we want what we have today.
If we're talking function we're talking weight.
If we're talking disguise.. I'm not sure. Contrast, value, silhouette. So you would want to look just like your surroundings. Same colors, same culture. You need to be unseen entering and exiting concealment. Meaning you need a normal plausible socially acceptable reason and optic for nearing concealment portal. Then you need to be unseen entering concealment and exiting.
I guess otherwise, since you should be moving every 7 days you don't really need much more of a disguise come to think of it. Since any interaction you have should be virtual....
Well one thing I thought was that challenge was healthy, but it isn't. It's the consistency that makes it something. Genie would have been fine if her father chained her to the toilet 1 day per week. But 7 days per week for 15 years TOOK it's toll. It wasn't that her lack of experiences degraded her mind - she adapted to her bathroom prison. Being chained to a toilet is her whole thing. And well it should of been - that was her prime.
We must face that these things we do to children are permanent.
And so, if we're chronically stressed this causes problems but if we're chronically well kept - than we're healthy.
So considering this we've got to chronically prioritize health - that means sun protection, temperature regulation, weight, happiness, sleep, stress. Think about it.
And we've got to kill people that threaten that.
Right!?
Or just ring the cops off the hook? They're no help. Therefore it's assassins creed.
Well no. So it's faith vs. health.
I personally just want to have fun and die.
Hmm well I think the underlying theme is don't do any drastic. Make a series of small minor changes over time. That keeps the ship sailing.

Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs & THE BIKER REVOLUTION
Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs & THE BIKER REVOLUTION
#LAWENFORCEMENT #LEO #COPCLUBS Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs, or LEMCs, sound like an oxymoron. But they are very much in existence, and growing by the day – motorcycle clubs that are run by the cops, for the cops, and of the cops. They call themselves traditional MCs, in that they have the same hierarchy and entry models that way other motorcycle clubs do, but most MCs, especially the outlaw…

What shows like Yellowstone probably won’t tell you about Montana - and this is speaking a Indigenous Montanan.
We are all assholes.
It’s a normal thing to carry your rifle(s) in the car, I am one of these people. Montanans are loaded to the teeth.
Don’t rob that store, there are three employees who have guns on their person, and one that isn’t can have a gun on them in two minutes.
The above scenario the boss likely has an extra rifle in his office/behind the counter.
Native cops can be dirtier than white cops, it’s a case to case thing.
The towns around a reservation can be the MOST RACIST towns ever.
Biker gang members are some of the nicest people I’ve met.
Yellowstone National Park, the Battle of Little Horn specifically, is a place that is known to be quite racist because of the rivalry that goes on between historical accounts. ( Native vs. White Glorification. )
Tribal politics are dirty as hell.
The wilds and plains exist but we joke about it being to hide bodies. Because usually this place we live in people disappear and it’s scary sometimes but we deal with that through humor.
Pretty sure there’s a cult here. For you Cry Far 5 people that means exactly what you think - especially since Ubisoft visited the reservation and studied our church here for a setting in game..
#[ out of character. ] musing#[ granted I’m working myself up to watch Yellowstone ]#[ I’m literally the only Montanan that hasn’t watched it but I can’t afford the ]#[ channel it’s on so that has to wait [#[ IM JUS SPEAKING FROM WHAT I SEE MENTIONED IN DASH AND GIFSETS ]
