do you ever realize that the reason exorcism by creep-p is such a yaevinncore song aside from it describing his dynamic with hansell pretty well for the most part (though it's not romantic, it's still abusive) is also because the reason he was in the asylum in the first place was because of a church. a nice priestess let him stay there and then some asshole was like "hey so you've clearly got the Devil™ in you based on how fucking violently you have nightmares. there is no other explanation [he didn't know about the hex; which, tbf, yaevinn only kind of did] so go to the asylum" and yaevinn was like "well i don't wanna disturb anyone so ok :(" and then we all know what happened next.

that's why yaevinn does Not vibe with religion like that btw. because they were like "this green mf needs an exorcism" and. well. uhhhh. turns out there were no demons and also he got worse after that. turns out he just had hexes and ptsd. which is now c-ptsd. but it was Ye Olde Times so like. y'know.

i think if yaevinn ever finds that priest he should punch him in the face actually. or worse. but not kill him just like. kick him in the nuts or something. but actually that priest might just straight up be dead because that happened fucking forever ago so if that priest is human he probably died. which like. lmfao get fucked. get Human Anatomied motherfucker.

anyway yeah sorry i just realized that lol. tl;dr i didn't fully register that yaevinn has religious trauma. which tbf i regularly don't register that i have religious trauma because i'm so far removed from it so like ayyy parallels [coolyori] (take this as coping with humor)
