Summary:

Blake's spent more than enough of her life in the woods, there's no good reason she should be dragged out of their nice warm bed at the crack of dawn and down some trail Sun and Yang had found a few days ago. "Is there a reason I had to come?" Blake asks grumpily. The one downside to both of her partners being the embodiment of the sun itself is that they tend to rise with it. "Aw come on Blake! You're going to love the view when we get there!" Sun exclaims with this megawatt smile that makes the edges of his eyes crinkle. "Besides," Yang starts, a small tilt to her lips, "you would just text us all morning complaining you're cold without us there." And okay, maybe Blake pouts a little because Yang's right, but that still doesn't mean she wants to be up right now. so, my friend came to me because she needed a favor to help sneak into this party and we've already worked once together before so we're a decent team and we found the third from our last kerfuffle and we go to play at this weird party and i think something's going on with my friend because she's being kinda weird, kinda aloof with her answers to my questions but i sure as shit don't have anything better to do so we start to play and i thought that i was just amazing at the harp but fuck, i was able to kinda fake it sorta? anyways we go for a different approach and i turn into a bird because we need to break this light without making it seem like we're trying to break this light and i do but oh no, there's a few people here that probably aren't that pleased to see us parties aren't my thing, apparently so we leave but we're not done finding the information she needs so we try to find another way in and find a cellar because rich people gotta have their weird cellars and it's dark but like whatever, it's night, i'll turn a light on when i'm down there and i go down and whoops.. where the fuck did i go? uh oh. at least i have this dagger that this cute no-longer princess gave to me and if i make it out of here alive, i absolutely am going to ask her out. (dnd. i played dnd. sending all my love to our incredible dm and my friends with their characters for making this the most enjoyable part of my week ♡)

how my boys came into my life. how everything worked out so perfectly, how the timing matched up so well, for them to come into my life and make it so much more bearable to get through the days. they chose me, and i firmly believe they were meant for me.
