snickerdoodle review for anne

okay so disclaimer beforehand! i didnt have granulated sugar so i used a fine raw sugar for the dough and a bigger raw sugar for the outside coating

the recipie was easy to follow however

it said one egg and one egg yolk and i struggled sepoaratiang the second white fromj the yolk. maybe that ruined everythging

the rest ofd the dough makijg went well

and then the baking part

it said to not squish the cookies but then they just ened up beingt underbaked balls. so i squished the ennxt batch and it went muchbetter

they tasted like apple oie without thge apples!! i had some w some vanillia ice cream and theyw rtre very good

they also looked like breaded chicken before i baked them

overall 7/10 experience because i was doing it to distract myself from my exam season stress. 8/10 cookie

Honestly 10/10 it’s rlly expensive (It’s like 5$ a cookie which is pretty expensive for a single cookie lol) but it taste rly good

Would recommend trying them out

I admit that I had my reservations about Monster Next Door...

That was because the chemistry between the main couple didn't hook me since the first episode but... I have to say that I'm now hooked on both the main and secondary couples.

I've always recognised the quality of this BL for many reasons. That (and the 2nd couple) was what maintained me until ep 9. And today I'd like to talk about its brilliance.

I've seen many people commenting on how amazing it was to have Diew talking directly and in private (without public explosions and consequent humiliation) with God about how he was making him feel. An open conversation? Out of this world!

Now, take a look at this...

What? A guy you don't like tried to kiss you and you didn't get upset? Instead, you guys hug it out? What?!

Like the great creator ramalauv says: Escándaloo!!

But there's more. Check this out!

Is this a guy who likes a guy and brings another guy who he knew the guy he likes liked (at best!) so they can sort out things between them and make the guy he likes feel better?

Was Beer insecure about his crush's feelings as much as I am about the correctness of the last sentence? Yes. But did he make a scandal when he saw them two hugging? No! What?!

And these two? Relationship goals.

Beautiful!

Golden Cheese Cookie's Nightmare

I’ve been waiting for this for nearly two weeks and it’s finally here!  (I hardly know anything about the new chapters, so bare with me. 🥲)

I really like what she did with this one!  I really like the music in the fight with Burning Spice Cookie; even though it was short and didn’t really show much action like the fight in Dark Cacao Cookie’s Nightmare, it was pretty awesome!  But my favorite part I enjoyed was the glitchy memory with Mozzarella Cookie, Burnt Cheese Cookie and whoever that cookie was that is.

And we got to see what Golden Cheese Cookie’s dark self is.  I took a screenshot of the frame of what she looks like.

I really want to see these monsters in action in Cookie World Episode 3 comes out, and when the new chapters in Cookie Run: Kingdom release, we can see the monster versions of Hollyberry Cookie and Pure White Lilly Cookie! But for now, we’ll just have to wait...

What do you guys think of this new short? And perhaps give me your predictions on what might happen in Cookie World.

We finally bust into it lol

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Sugar Cookie topping, chocolate sauce and Galaxy Sprinkles, and a buttercream boarder.

Absolutely delicious! Amazing flavor! Soft and moist even next day. The buttercream wasn’t super sweet, but my husband said it had a weird tang to it. Maybe they used almond extract instead of vanilla in it? Either way, it was good as hell.

The fnaf sleeve isn’t framed and hung up yet, but it’s safely stored until I can buy a new frame lol

Pizza Cookie secured!

My husband and I are going to be hanging out with our bestie tomorrow, so we’ll get to enjoy it then.

So far, I’m super stoked on it. The fact that the Fnaf box is just a sleeve makes me feel a lot better about spending the money lol. I’m going to take the sleeve and frame it. We have a wall with family recipes we have framed, so it’s going to go on there.

I tried these Target Favorite Day Maple Truffle Butter Cookies and these were pretty good.

These tasted like a light maple chocolate with shortbread cookie.

The chocolate was firm and soft these didn't taste artificial and butter cookies had a light shortbread cookie taste.

These cookies were soft but crunchy in texture.

These were lightly sweet to me.

I would eat these again.

The donut files

File #1: Cookie Monster

Specimen found at a local Lidl store. The general taste can be described as a mix of oil and unintelligible sugary sweetness overload. The eyes are pure dry sugar, while the sprinkles vaguely taste of tuttifrutti bubblegum. No filling to be found. 0/10, would not try again.

File #2: Oreo

Speciman found at a local Penny Markt store. Filling, glaze and sprinkles (in the form of bitter, soggy Oreo crumbs) are all present. Taste wise, the donut seems to be the result of dunking an oreo in hot oil and letting it sit for a few hours. The taste is generally unintelligible but also rather inoffensive, the various components cannot be identified through tasting alone. 5/10, too much Oreo and not enough sugar.

What? My opinion about This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans? Glad you asked.

I don't usually review dramas --- I’m more of a “Liked it,” “Hated it,” “Loooved it!,” or "It was torture" kind of person. But when a drama like this comes along, with sky-high potential and a crash landing? Well, I have no choice but to rant.

(Let's keep the offence to a minimum, folks. We don't all have to agree. My opinion on this drama has zero effect on your life.)

And.... Holy Mother of the Lords! There was zero --- I tell you, ZERO (okay, I'm a generous person: 1.4%) of development. The only one I could say showed a little tiny bit of development was Chef Oab. Everyone else? Flat as a crêpe. Relationship-wise, I’m still scratching my head. Why do they like each other? Why does Chef Oab like Plawan? Why does Plawan like him? WHYY?

Oh but Cookie, love needs no reason. You just feel it.

To that, I say puh-lease. Spare me. Not a single date, not one meaningful conversation? But hell with that. The first pairing didn’t do it for me (apart from the steamy scenes. I'm all about that Sailub and Pon chemistry).

Now, let’s get to the real tragedy.

JJ and Methas. Same story. Why did JJ end up with a person like Methas? To the point where they’re declaring undying love? And don’t get me wrong - I adored these two. But why make such a big fuss of these relationships when they were just... Attraction. I mean, marriage proposals? After what, three weeks with a rocky start? And can we talk about that ring? So ugly (very fun scene though)! They had so much potential, I was rooting for them so hard, and then --- BAM! --- they rushed everything. I get it, 8 episodes isn’t much. It wouldn't even be enough if these two were the main couple.

Methas was screaming for more development. He’s the perfect mix of cliché and complexity, but we barely scratched the surface. We needed more of his backstory, more of his struggles, more of JJ giving him those clichéd, love-struck googly eyes whenever Methas did something unexpectedly sweet, more, more, more... This relationship deserved better, and so did we!

The feeling I got was that they summarized the actual series.

To end on a positive note, their acting? Much better! Their chemistry? Off the charts! Here’s an idea: make a new version with Benz and Garfield as the main couple. Show and develop their side of the story. Give them the screen time they deserve. I’d watch that in a heartbeat!
