Also this may seem kinda weird but….. honestly I feel like Betty and James are made for each other in a way?? Obviously Betty is way too good for james and even if they do end up dating again she’ll never be able to trust him, but these two are so interlinked, (I am in NO WAY trying to make james actions seem fine, he messed up badly) and I feel like even if they’re dating different people they will always think back to their relationship. James was never able to move on from Betty, and Betty feels like james was a big part of her life so when he cheats her trust was broken. They will definitely not go back to dating right away though, and it’ll take time for her to trust him again, but when they do get back together I feel like they’ll be really special. But ofc this is just my opinion and if you think otherwise, that’s totally ok! 💗🫶

[DISBELIEF]: after the receiver has done something completely unexpected (and reckless) the stunned sender cups their face in their hands while trying to get them to explain why the hell they did it. BETTIE AND OZ

Oz had spent a fair (substantial) amount of time playing buffer between Bettie and Red. There were days where you couldn't really decide who was being more pig-headed. But then when Bettie was trying to be cautious, Red was being callous and cavalier. And some days when Bettie was being too careful, Red was flying off the handle with ease. Today was no different as their voices raised and they went at each other before Oz stepped in. It wasn't until Red said something rude, something thoughtless, that Oz took it to a whole new level. He shouted, calling Bettie "worthless". Something in Oz's normally cheerful and calm composure broke, as a hand balled up and he swung, connecting with Red's jaw and sending him back against the bookshelf. The whole room was stunned into silence. And Red was looking, well....red as could be before he stormed out, slamming the door behind him. Oz stood there in pure disbelief, but didn't regret it. Only that he knew Bettie might be pissed beyond speaking to. That's when she came into his line of vision, holding his face. ".... What was that for?" Oz blinked for a second, shaking his head as he placed his hands over her own. "No one.... not even Red has a right to call you things like that. Not in front of me."

SERIOUSLY? was the universe really out to shit on her to this extent? trapping her with her father who seemed to be an advocate for people abusing, torturing and killing their daughters because apparently as a parent that was their right? UGH, she was so damn angry that he even dared to suggest that pederson was in the right. betty was hiding how angry she was with him either, if her body language wasn't a hint then her glare was. "what's in the bag? an axe? a knife? oh, i forget. you like guns now, don't you?" @lcvenderhcze
