     it  was  quiet  on  the  move  back  home .  copper  knew  how  bad  things  could  have  gotten  and  for  the  first  time ,  she  was  almost  grateful  that  it  hadn’t  turned  into  a  fight  although  she  wouldn’t  have  stopped  it  if  it  had .  copper  walked  into  the  room  she  shared  with  pope ,  pulling  off  her  jacket . ‘   he’s  my  brother , ‘  she  eventually  spoke ,  wondering  if  it  was  obvious  or  not  by  how  she  had  approached  solaris . ‘ but  it  doesn’t  change  anything .  if  the deal  goes  south ,  we’ll  do  what  we  always  do . ‘ @saintivcry​

    copper  had  never  been  keen  on  making  deals  when  it  came  to  other  groups  especially  if  it  left  hers  at  a  disadvantage  .  she  wasn’t  going  to  get  the  shit  end  of  the stick  and  that  was  exactly  what  she  had  told  simon  when  she first  met  him .  they  weren’t letting  the  prophets  use  their  roads   and  they  weren’t  giving  up  half  their  shit  for  weak  ass  protection  when  they  could  protect  themselves  and  yet ,  it  seemed  as  if  simon  didn’t  get  the  message .  

most  weren’t  so  bold .  the  reapers  left  plenty  of  warnings  that  these  road  ways  were  spoken for  and  it  was  difficult  to  ignore  the  bodies  strung  up  but  copper  was  convinced  that  this  man  didn’t  have a  working  brain  cell  or  he  simply  different  care .  copper  stood  with  her  group ,  even  if  she  probably  shouldn’t  have  been  out  there , partially  concealed  by  pope  as  they  watched  the  van  come  down  the  road  with  no  choice  but  to  stop .  

copper  didn’t  notice  the  other  people  in  the  van .  she  was  more  focused  on  simon  when  he  stepped  out ,  a  few  others  doing  the same  from  the  back . ‘  gonna  have  to  pick  another  road ,  simon , ‘  copper  spoke .  ‘  i  may  hate  for  you  to  be  strung  up  like  the  others  but  pope  won’t  and  all  i  have  to  do  is  say  the  word . ‘

"I get it, but she's the one that stated in the first place that she wanted to be casual so I gotta respect that."

"Hey I get it, but sometimes being casual for one person doesn't mean it's casual for the other person." Pope looked at Chandler. "Have you both agreed that it's casual?"
