ik I'm probably not supposed to say this but sometimes I wonder if there's even any purpose in continuing to fight for social justice bc it just seems like nothing is ever going to get better

I remember a long time ago seeing somebody say 'there is no social justice'#and I was like 'shut the fuck up lmao'#but looking around me it's like#trump has like a million scandals and he still gets to run this year and still has a massive legion of supporters#kyle rittenhouse is allowed to have a twitter account even though he murdered two people#george zimmerman is out here signing autographs and has a whole fanbase bc he murdered a black child#convicted rapists and abusers get to keep their careers and live their lives in luxury#all while good people are homeless and starving and suffering#and it's like.. Shit Man. Maybe There Really Isn't Any Social Justice#and like#if true peace and a world without hate and war is unattainable..... what are we fighting so hard for?#if evil will always exist... is there even a point in trying to fight it?#is a species that apparently cannot exist without war and evil even worth trying to save?#i dont know#all I know is. I really am starting to think that justice isn't real#and that all of the fighting and the protesting and the pain is going nowhere#and that nobody will ever truly get what they deserve in the end#not the greatest feeling tbh.
