Shout out to the not quite middle aged man yaoi ships that get so underrated because despite the deep connection, unending loyalty and love for each other, and scenes upon scenes of them being each others rock, partner, and family, the fact that one of them is a “joke” character and not conventionally attractive makes it so that fans, even queer ones, don’t see their relationship as meaningful and even take their genuine interactions as jokes.

there is no one thing and absolutely no one look. its a combination of things–music, politics, clothes, what the fuck ever. you dont have to hit all of them, of course there are core beliefs you do need, but gatekeeping based on looks and abilities is quite literally antithetical to damn near every scene if not all.

i have chronic fatigue and pain and nausea, 90% of the time? not anywhere near what punk looks like. currently in a batman tank top with jean shorts and messy faded hair. i wouldnt say i look anything different from how normal ppl are dressed on a lazy sunday. doesnt change a fucking thing.

you do what you can to your abilities and to your comfort level and not take shit from anyone about it.
