In the last few months I tried out Mastodon, Bluesky and Threads but in the end not one of these is half as good as Tumblr.
#controversial opinion i'll hide in the tags: the only other good social media is tiktok#mastodon/the fediverse has potential but needs 1. easier ways to set up an instance 2. to stop copying twitter (at least copy tumblr)#bluesky's only good thing are the custom timelines (tumblr copy this!!)#threads is hell. twitter if 3/4 of twitter was twitter calcio and 1/4 influencers. the dumbest takes + maranza + no moderation. hell.#I'll keep all three but only post on fedi sometimes#keep the other two for lurking
