How to control your mind and thoughts
Change the perspective : We tend to look at all past events with the same intensity and effect as it was when it occurred. Most people do not want to bring up the event and tend to keep it suppressed. Spend time recalling the event and see if you now look at the event with a different perspective and understanding so that the intensity and effects reduce.
Use a mantra: To calm your mind a mantra is that you repeat just a simple phrase or word while doing that you can feel the peace at your inner mind. Repeating a mantra reduces activity of the stress in the part of your brain that gives you more reflection.
Breathe:  Try counting to three and pay attention only to your breathing as you breathe in and to five as you breathe out while make the process you try to slow it down.
Why do I worry excessively?
If you suffer from anxiety and worries, it means you looking at the world in ways that make it seem more threatening chances than what it is. We form our own thoughts about our ability to handle problems, and ability to analyze how to come out of life problems, we assume that the first sign of trouble we will fall apart. These pessimistic attitudes are known as cognitive distortions.
Relaxation techniques can change the brain
While following the above relaxation techniques you can provide some immediate respite from your worry and anxiety, practicing them regularly can also change your brain.
Talk about your worries
Keeping worries to yourself only causes them to build up until they seem overwhelming. To make sense of what you’re feeling and putting things in perspective can often help you feel better. Most of the fears are baseless, discussing them can open up a new train of thought which can reduce or eliminate the fear. By discussing fears and worries we get newer perspectives which can solve our problems.
Practice mindfulness
Stay focused on the present. If you find yourself getting stuck on a particular thought pay attention to the way your body feels, the rhythm of your breathing, ever-changing emotions, and the thoughts that drift across your mind, after that bring your attention back to the present moment.
