The way people on this website like confidently assert their superiority over "TikTok teens" (concept I have complained about at length) bc "they wouldn't survive in the NINETIES when everyone said FAG and DYKE". Like yes obviously people shouldn't police other people's language usage but also treating people like cringey loser idiots for not feeling super comfortable personally using terms that could potentially carry a lot of baggage for them that you don't know about is extremely bizarre and I cannot believe this is where we're at.
