For a long, long time (ranging from life long to ~7 years) I’ve cared a lot about:

- fiber arts

- clothes

- comics

But recently I’ve gotten into a slightly different sect of comics (😱) and started sewing (😳) and making my own clothes more (🤯) and lemme just say. It’s incredible that I feel like these are a, new hobbies, and b, more embarrassing than my former interest in them?

#mine #me: what if I get into periodicals? that would be so embarrassing #bf: what are you talking about. you already love comics.#less embarrassed abt the sewing one but #I am amused bc I’ve always regarded it as impossible to approach. despite my lifelong history of being a fiber artist.#and now I’m doing it!#the embarrassment abt clothes is more like … now that I’m sewing I want to look at high fashion and think about #construction and materials and I want to draw the way the fabric hangs. hm. cringe!
